What is the experience of a five-star hotel without heating on a day of 10 degrees to 8 degrees? It really happened to me, and it was a Sofitel. Anyway, I caught a cold directly on the second day after staying, and the windows were closed tightly. The equipment Everything else is nonsense. I complained to the front desk the next day. Anyway, the attitude was very sincere, but the problem had occurred and the facilities were very backward. The front desk service was very enthusiastic and communicated with me from the perspective of the guest. Anyway, it is a five-star hotel in Paris. It's really hard to describe

The room had a unique artistic flair; though compact, it was perfectly equipped with everything one could need. The location was superb, directly opposite Gare du Nord. While this area might have a reputation for not being the safest, I personally felt secure enough. They offered a complimentary bottle of wine and snacks in the minibar upon check-in. Overall, it's incredibly convenient for those catching a train the next day, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

I was booked into a room with queen size bed as a single traveller and was happy with it - enough tea and coffee to last me, hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the room….everything was there. The view wasn’t great, but I’d didn’t book the room necessarily for the view, just somewhere to stay before catching the early Eurostar next day. The best part of my stay? Xavier on reception - polite, funny, helpful - if he checks you in, it will all go smoothly!

First off, the location is incredibly convenient. Montparnasse Metro Station is just a five-minute walk away, making it easy to reach any part of Paris. The front desk service was also quite good, and the facilities were very comprehensive. The free mini-bar was a pleasant surprise, and the security measures were excellent. However, the biggest drawback was the hotel's hygiene, which was genuinely concerning. Upon arrival, I even found residual body hair on the bedsheets and duvet cover. Luckily, I had brought my own. Room cleaning was only average, and the mini-bar wasn't restocked for two days after its contents were used. Overall, there's significant room for improvement.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome card and a beautiful, French-style eco-friendly bag. The location is very convenient for transport, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only minor issue was that the shower in the bathroom didn't have a separate screen.

Stayed here in May 2025. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Gare du Nord, which made it super convenient for train travel. The room was small but clean and well-equipped—with a comfy bed, kettle, tea, water, and a safe. Bathroom was modern, with good water pressure and a strong hairdryer. Our room faced the inner courtyard, so it was very quiet. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Check-in was fast and smooth. We didn’t try the breakfast but the dining area looked nice. Lots of shops and food options nearby, and metro access is excellent for getting around Paris. Overall, a great value stay if you want somewhere clean, quiet, and convenient.

The people were fantastic! Very helpful and accommodating and deserve good tips. The location is nice, not that close to EiffelTower but close to park and restaurant choices. You need to learn the metro and bus system in order to visit Paris or if you have a family just Uber. Two big issues: the indoor pool water is cold and my 11 year old refuses to swim in it. A pool was a huge selling point and ended being unusable. The place caters to families, and a 24 hour payable washer and dryer would be very useful on the premises. Otherwise, the beds are very comfortable and I definitely recommend staying there as a couple or with family.

I chose this hotel mostly because of the location . It was close to Eiffel Tower just 25 mins walk . However be very careful with the shops around the area as Prices are made for tourists . If you look up carrefour you can find one that is very close by foot . The price at the hotel is quite high for the items . I wanted to get the breakfast menu and saw there are 2 . 1 for the on the go that was 6.50 and the other one which was 13.90 . When we went downstairs we saw that the price the lady asked us to pay was 13.90 for each person and said the one for 6.50 is the kids meal . But apart from this it was ok . The rooms were quite small however and there was no mini fridge or safe to keep your belongings. I would say it’s a 6.5/10 but I would use it again considering the price and location I guess.

Good location near the Gare de Lyon train station. Room size is sufficient for two people. Kettle is provided and drinks in the fridge are free for consumption. There is bathtub in the toilet. Housekeeping services are still acceptable, however I placed some empty bottles meant for keepsake purposes on the table but it was gone when I returned to the room at the end of the day. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Overall the stay was enjoyable.

As for the location i think its good if you are on business trip, metro just 5min walking distance, however if you are traveling for the first time i think not the best location, because most of the touristy loc are not in this area. It was December when we went. Although it was said that it was winter, the room was so stuffy. I called the counter to ask why the air conditioner didn’t respond. The staff at the counter said that only heating was available in winter. Later, we were really too hot and had to Open the room windows.
