Visited Bangkok for 3 days and stayed at this hotel. It is a very big hotel with a large lobby and 24/7 reception. We checked in at 3am with no problem (booked an extra night). Breakfast was an extra 200 baht if selected at check in, or 250 paid at the restaurant. The room is very spacious and clean. The only issue is that the bathroom is quite old and the tap and shower are sometimes a bit leaky which can be annoying at night. Nonetheless great value for price and great location.

It has a quirky great gatsby theme, which is the appeal and selling point of the hotel - aside from that, the hotel has rooms for improvement if they position themselves as a luxury 4-5 stars. Room and corridors are all quite dark. Bed and pillows are heavenly. Bathroom is dark and hard to do make up. Water pressure was good, they only have two big towels; not even medium towels are supplied for hair. No air ventilator in the bathroom either. Breakfast was most disappointing. They have buffet and special made order. The latter took so long to be delivered. And when it came, the portion and presentation was most disappointing. The so called fluffy pancake was the most disgusting pancake I have had. It’s very hard and chewy. Buffet breakfast was basic at best, one round of serving is more than enough. No need to go for second round. Service was mediocre at best from breakfast, rooftop bar to reception. The best was bell boy who attended our transportation arrangements to the airport. The hotel is fine, too gimmicky for my taste. Feels like they put on too much cosmetic, gimmicky efforts and not enough on the basic customer experience and hotel offering. I had high hopes because it was part of the autograph collection. Tried it once, never again. Not with this, or any other autograph collections.

I stayed here a few times. Friends wonder why i choose to stay on the outskirts of Bangkok. It is actually not far from the Bangkok city centre. Just 3 stops on the train, and i am in Siam Paragon. And the station is less than 10 min walk from the hotel. Being a little out of the city centre allows me to be away from the crowd when i have done what i needed to do in the city centre. Hotels in the city centre tend to have many people around and in the lobbying. Pullman Kingpower's surroundings are much quieter and serene. It is good to have a place to get away from the crowds and congestion of the city centre Also, this hotel is huge with its surroundings uncluttered or congested by high-rise buildings. Kingpower duty-free shopping mall next door offers free coach transfers to the airport twice a day. There is no need to buy anything to get on the coach. It also offers a free access lounge if you need it. Transfers and lounge are only for customers of the hotel and the mall. Around the hotel, there are many small traditional Thai style shops, trendy cafes and decent massage services. There is also a cinema in a shopping mall nearby that has also a supermarket, foodcourt and many wonderful restaurants and eateries.

I stayed at the **Ambassador Hotel Bangkok** in a **Standard Twin Bed room** in the **Square Wing**, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price and location. **Room (Square Wing - Standard Twin Bed):** The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated in terms of decor. It's located in the Square Wing, which has a more classic feel compared to the newer Sky Wing. If you're looking for something more modern, the Sky Wing may be a better choice. However, the Square Wing still offers good value and a restful night's sleep. **Breakfast:** Breakfast was included in the stay, which was convenient. While the variety of food wasn't extensive, there were enough choices for a simple meal. The dining area can get quite busy during peak hours, so there were occasional delays in food refills, but the staff worked hard to keep things running smoothly. Going a bit earlier might help avoid the rush. **Location & Facilities:** The location is excellent—right in the heart of Sukhumvit, close to the BTS Nana station and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The hotel has a wide range of facilities, including a gym and pool. Staff were friendly and tried their best to assist even when things got busy. **Overall:** This hotel offers **good value for money** if you're looking for a central location in Bangkok. It’s a large property with a mix of room types, and while the Square Wing is more traditional, it’s still comfortable. For a smoother experience, consider checking breakfast timings and possibly exploring the Sky Wing for upgraded rooms.

The rooms were clean and had a fridge microwave and a kettle. They have a good complimentary service, providing four bottles of water, two cans of Pepsi, two packets of instant noodles, and tea and coffee. Their staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. In the building is a ”let's relax spa” so you can unwind after a long day of walking. It has a decent pool and a small gym with plenty of equipment. It's in an excellent location. There's a train station a few minutes away called Samyan MRT, which you can travel to Chinatown or the grand palace. It's also opposite a shopping centre for convenience. There are nice restaurants nearby if you want to try something different.

It's the best stay in Bangkok for a nice retreat. We are being welcome nicely from the start. We booked the Suites with Lounge access, which the staff check us in on 19th floor. The lounge is quiet and comfy. We are presented with a welcome drink, a refreshing and cool towel with essential oil, and some snack. The staff are constantly smiling. Room is very big with big bath tub and a real king size bed, which the linen and mattress are the real deal. The breakfast is with great variety. I will definitely staying with this hotel again!

The hotel is in a good location. Have a lot of street food around. Breakfast was ok. When we arrived, we went up to the room. The Aircon didn't work properly. Not cold at all. We called the reception to ask for a technician to help. After we come back from dinner. First we found one cockroach running around. My partner tried to kill it and a few minutes later, we found the other one running around but this one we couldn't catch and we missed it. This is my first time in this hotel. I have some business to do around Phra Kanong that's why we chose this hotel but I am not impressed.

Pratunam Market Bangkok|3.02km from city centre
Our stay at the hotel on the 16th floor, facing the main road, was severely impacted by incessant construction noise. The 24/7 work, including knocking and drilling—even at night—made it impossible to sleep properly throughout our three-night stay. Despite reporting the issue to staff, the assurance from the staff that the cessation of work never materialized. We resorted to using earplugs, which did little to alleviate the disruption and significantly detracted from our experience. The ongoing construction also resulted in a dusty and unpleasant environment. Furthermore, accessing the hotel by taxi proved challenging, with many drivers unwilling to navigate to the hotel, particularly in rainy weather. Pre-booking transport and adding at least 20 minutes to travel time due to potential delays is strongly recommended. We will not return until the construction is completed. The constant noise and inconvenience simply overshadowed any positive aspects of our stay.
