I was looking at hotels in Bangkok before finally choosing Ramada again as I had stayed there before. Ramada's twin suite is very nice. My only comments are the shower water pressure wasn't too great, the trash bin wasn't emptied everyday, the bathroom lights were a little dim & the 1-seater sofa was not comfortable to sit on as the seat cushion kept sliding out. The shower floor was extremely slippery when wet but fortunately the hotel provided a non slip rubber mat. I highly recommend the hotel's buffet breakfast. The food was good & the view of Chao Phraya River from the restaurant was fantastic. Without a doubt, I will choose Ramada again on my next trip to Bangkok.

I recently stayed in Jatu King Room on a 3-night business trip (23- 26 Feb). My overall experience was pleasant, with a few highlights and minor drawbacks. The entire check-in process, jiffy but efficient. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby us clean and well-maintained but too dimly lit. The room is spacious and clean, and the king-sized bed is very comfortable. Good sound-proving, a good night sleep assured. The hotel gym is well-equipped and the pool area relaxing but small (19th Floor). Breakfast serves a good variety with both western and Asian fare. The service at the restaurant was attentive and prompt. Though the hotel is located in a commercial district, it is just a stone throw away from BTS Chidlom (6-min walk) thus making it convenient for communting around Bangkok. For shopperholics, the good news is that the hotel is just 1 train station away from the famous shopping belt and loads of eateries choices in Siam. Pros: Attentive and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent location. Cons: Hotel lobby too dimly lit, a welcome drink at check-in would add a warmth and inviting touch, mini-bar ammenities could be improved (to add more varieties) Special mention: William (check-in reception) A (Conceige) Overall rating: 7.9/ 10

Location is good. Next to Erawan Shrine. Walking distance to Central World, Big C, and Platinum Mall. Need to climb and use the connecting overhead bridges, though. Hotel looks grand. We stayed in the suite, which is very big, with washer/dryer, microwave and stove. Mini-fridge is stocked with drinks and snacks which are free and replaced daily. Service is prompt and good.

I have stayed at most of the five-star hotels in Bangkok, but this one was very disappointing because of old female manager in the executive lounge, despite the spacious suite room. First, my stay included package benefits, but most of them were not provided. I had to ask the reception several times to confirm what was included. Second, even after they finally gave me the promised voucher, it had already expired last year. I had to request a replacement once again. Third, I had two visitors who stayed in my room for less than an hour to have tea. However, a female manager insisted that I pay an extra charge because there were three people. I clearly explained that they were just visiting. (For reference, I am a fluent English speaker.) If I hadn’t repeatedly clarified the situation, she would have charged me. Lastly, she even asked me if I had used a condom and said I would need to pay for it. Omg, I stayed alone—why would I use a condom by myself? The old female manager (Konmi??) gave me the worst worst memeory. Is this the hotel’s policy for making more money? Or is she making team up with the cleaning lady to harass solo travelers? Even with such a small lounge, I have never experienced this level of disrespect.

I stayed at Swissotel Ratchada from January 3 to 8, 2025, and while there were some positives, one serious issue left me quite concerned. The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance to plenty of food options and shopping areas, which made getting around very convenient. The design of the hotel feels a bit dated, but it’s still in good condition and maintains a certain charm. I stayed on the 7th floor, and on January 4, there was scheduled electrical maintenance from around 11 AM to 5 PM. During this time, the electricity was completely off, which meant the elevators weren’t working. This was inconvenient, but what truly worried me was discovering that the emergency staircase was sealed off on the 6th floor. I had to use the stairs because the lifts were down, only to find there was no way to exit safely. When I asked the staff, they told me I would need to wait until the power was back on. Strangely, I also noticed that on the lift, there is no 6th floor listed. This is a serious safety issue. If there had been an actual emergency, there was no viable escape route, which is unacceptable. Guest safety should never be compromised, and I hope the hotel addresses this immediately. While I appreciated the location and general upkeep of the hotel, I would recommend it, but the safety remains a big question mark.

2nd time staying at centara grand @ ladprao. Some issues i had encountered on this trip: 1. During check-in the receptionist forgot to return my passport and i have to remind them & 2. Booked 2 rooms, 1 of the room was infested with cockroaches. Kudos to the staffs in assisting us to clear the roaches and immediately changed a new room for us at 12mn. There is room for improvement in cleanliness for a 5stars hotel, other than that everything else was good. Hope that there will be improvement when i visit next time.

Hidden gem!!! Expected nothing - received only positive vibes from that place! Paid just 85 USD for 2 nights (Grand Corner Room) incl. breakfast for 3 people and got: 1. Great, 40 sq. meters 2 bedroom room w. balcony. 2. Exceptional location. Quiet street but 7-10 minutes walk to On Nut BTS/Lotus/Big C. A few minutes walk to 7/11. No awful traffic around compared to Siam/Sathorn/Asok tourist areas. 3. Good breakfast. Both Asian/international. Best omelettes I have ever had in my Asia Pacific numerous trips. 4. Just 25 minutes ride to Suvarnabhumi airport. 5. Very polite and helpful staff. 6. Special thanks from the cigarettes smokers. Great ashtray type of ”gadget” on the wall at the balcony. Very convenient! Thanks :) Overall a great value for money. Surely will return next time if hotel keep this price/quality.

We stayed for two nights at the Graph Hotels in Bangkok. Room is fine, spacious, very clean. We used the swimming pool at the roof both days, good for the heat of Bangkok winter :). Location is close to MRT, about 5 minute walk. It's also very close to Jodd Fairs market, which was fun to go to at night. To/from airport, it's about a 30 minute ride (we used Grab), quite smooth. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, lots of variety, including western and asian food.

Pros: Great location; close to BTS. Amazing staff especially the team at breakfast service. The door men in the lobby also greets you with a smile as you enter and exit. The house keeping ladies are great too; polite, efficient, and fast. Lots of great food places nearby at affordable prices. 7-11 outside the hotel. Jidapa massage place nearby is also great.  Cons: weak sound-proofing. I requested a quiet room and was put in a corner room in the back away from the Main Street but was still able to hear BTS train and ambulance sounds at times. Also, the if people are talking on the corridor, you could hear them. Not a deal breaker for me as it was bearable but if you are sensitive to noise, something to consider. Small thing but they need towel hooks in the bathroom.  also, the pool only gets sun in the mornings. Only 2 sun loungers. If you are a sun-worshipper looking to top up your tan, prob not for you.   Overall, great experience. Would stay again.
