I recently stayed at Hotel Puerta América and had a mixed experience. The hotel’s design is definitely its highlight—each floor features a unique style created by world-renowned architects, which makes for a visually exciting stay. The rooms are modern and spacious, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. However, there were a few drawbacks. The service, while polite, felt inconsistent. Check-in took longer than expected, and there were delays with room service on multiple occasions. Additionally, while the hotel boasts of its luxury, some amenities felt a bit dated, especially considering the price point. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which is great if you’re looking for a quiet stay, but it’s not ideal for those wanting to be in the heart of the action. Overall, Hotel Puerta América is a stylish and unique hotel, but there are areas where improvements could be made to justify the cost and overall experience.

Excellent staff- everyone was so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early from international flight and they let us check in early. Great location to walk to museums and great restaurants. Rooftop bar and pool were very nice- again, super friendly service. Nice complimentary bottled water and chocolates brought to the room in the evening. Needed to get shoes shined and they got it done for me. Nice artwork throughout hotel. Didn’t charge for drinks in mini fridge- nice touch. Did I mention how friendly everyone is?

They have wonderful service. The location is good for being near the airport but if you want to go anywhere touristy you have to hop on the metro for a few stops so not too bad. The shuttle to the airport was the best made it so easy to get to the airport for my early morning flight. (Pics are a few things I saw in Madrid)

The hotel is about 15 minutes from the international airport by taxi. It's about 15 minutes by taxi from the train station. There is a subway station nearby within a 3-minute walk. Very convenient. There are only six stations to take the metro to the palace. The hotel room is very spacious and clean, and there is a sofa bed, which is enough for a family to share a room.

The location is excellent. Metro Line 1 is just 50 meters away. You can go to Atocha, Chamartin, Sofia, Prado, and Plaza del Sol with just one metro. The surrounding area is very lively, with restaurants, bakeries, and convenience stores. The hotel is relatively new, and extra beds will be arranged for a trip of three. The room along the street has a small terrace to view the street view. There was a small problem when we checked in. The information delivered by the agent was wrong, and check-in was delayed for a while. The hotel front desk was very polite and gave us a welcome drink so that we could wait with peace of mind. Fortunately, Ctrip handled it quickly and solved it properly.

I like it very much. I think it is much quieter than the hotel in Retiro Park on the first day. This one is near the consulate. It is very quiet. The surrounding area feels like a wealthy area, very safe. The room is also very comfortable. It really has a good taste.

The hotel is strategically located in the city center. It is only about an 8-minute walk from the train station and subway station. It is very close to Sun Plaza and various attractions, and there are many good restaurants nearby! In addition, the hotel design is full of art and makes you feel like you are in the city. It feels like Moulin Rouge, and the room design is very user-friendly! The breakfast at Kaila is also very rich and exquisite, highly recommended!

Staff are friendly and helpful. We had problems in charging our car. We asked for help and they came in a minute to help. Carpark is just in the basement and so we could unload luggages and took the lifts from basement up to our room floor directly. Very convenient. Room : spacious Breakfast : not worth, only few varieties. Cleanliness : looks clean in general. But I think the hotel should pay more attention to the 'little things'. One spoon in the room and a plate in the breakfast restaurant had dirt.

Too pleasant experience, the location is so good that there is nothing to say, in the center of the Sun Gate, go shopping downstairs, take two steps to the subway Sol station, the door is on the street, you have to swipe the room card to enter, the security measures are in place. The room is small, the bed is spacious and clean, the toilet is large, there is a wardrobe refrigerator, one or two people are absolutely suitable The breakfast was very rich, all kinds of ham bread fruit, coffee was delicious. Hotel service is also very user-friendly, arrived at the store at 9 o'clock in the morning, did not arrive at the check-in time but there is a room available, give me the room in advance Highly recommend this hotel ~
