The location is good as it’s very central. The room was a bit small but it was on discount and the facilities were alright. We had a bathtub and had no problem going around Madrid. It’s not a bad choice but depending on the room your views could be better as our view was facing the building and there wasn’t much to see. Great location, fast wi-fi, comfortable bed. Laundry room was a really nice bonus. As for the downsides... On the first day people kept entering my room with their keycards, and not all of them were hotel workers, which was creepy. One night some neighbours were having sex. Good for them, not so good for my sleep — so the soundproofing could be better. And I also got allergic to the shower gel which never happened before. So it really was a 50/50 experience

The breakfast in the hotel is good and the service is good. I just don't know if it's a single room. There is no coffee pot and I cannot heat it.

The newly opened hotel is right at the back door of Plaza Mayor. The location is super good, just seven minutes walk to the palace, and about five minutes from the Ingles department store.
