Absolutely loved our stay here! Managed to snag a good deal for the junior suite and it was so worth it! Very spacious room with 2 sinks and a bath tub. Hotel staff are super helpful and organised, and did a great job with the room cleaning. Area is along a small street so it’s not too noisy, yet really close to the shopping street!

Firstly, it's too pricey and doesn't really offer good value. It feels very hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting (19 degrees Celsius being the lowest possible). The room is a bit old, and water flows out from the shower room while showering. The bathroom area is extremely dark. This package cost me around $6K HKD, and I can confidently say it doesn't compare well to other new 5-star hotels in Barcelona. The best thing about W is the bar/restaurant on the 26th floor. The staff is generally rude and impolite, possibly including some of the security staff. The reception staff assisting with check-in are also unfriendly, possibly due to a large number of guests waiting.

The Majestic Hotel is in a great location. Lots of shopping and places to eat in the area. Our room was a junior suite. It was large, comfortable, very clean and extremely welcoming upon our return after a long day out enjoying the sites of Barcelona. The breakfast was wonderful having pretty much everything you could want for breakfast and more! When we come back to Barcelona in the future, we will definitely stay at the Majestic Hotel.

The breakfast is diverse, rich and delicious. The room provides snacks, coffee machine and teapot. The room is not big, and it is noisy outside. There are people making noise nearby at night. Because there is another check-in the next day, the hotel will re-charge the breakfast fee for the previous check-in. Two people checked in, and even counted as five people. There was no actual inspection of the payment details. There were obvious mistakes in homework. Although there were improvements, this kind of error is a bit outrageous for a five-star hotel.

In walking distance to the hop on hop off buses and other things I enjoyed been able to open my window in my room as I hate air conditioning and I find this hard to find in a lot of hotel I would highly recommend this hotel and if in Barcelona again I will be staying there

The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great location. I rarely complain about anything, however, the young lady who checked us in said, ”oh, and your breakfast is included!” This is not something I expected because normally I don't elect this unless it's automatic because I prefer the flexibility to have breakfast somewhere else. And usually larger hotel breakfasts are expensive. There were four of us in our party, and since it was ”included”” we went down every morning to take advantage of breakfast. When we checked out however we learned it was NOT included and we were charged $20 for each person per day. We explained the mistake to the front desk person, but he said he could not help us. Unfortunate. We won't return to this property.

Ramblas Barcelona|0.26km from city centre
This is the second time I stayed at this hotel: I stayed here 17 years ago in my first visit to Barcelona although I could not remember much of my experience then. I decided to stay at the Hotel Royal Ramblas in my second visit to Barcelona for 5 nights in September 2022 because of its good location. I must say its location on La Rambla is excellent and exceptional. It is close to many popular tourist attractions, it's just a few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya metro station, and bus stops at Plaza Catalunya for the hop on hop off buses. Port Veil and the beach are within walking distance. The room we got on the Planta Royal (just one floor above the breakfast restaurant) was comfortable and clean. Although the room is facing La rambla it is extremely quiet during the night. The wifi was fast, the shower was great and the aircon was so quiet and effective. The breakfast was excelent throughout our stay and the staff at the reception were very helpful and freindly. I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Barcelona. One complaint I would like to make is that for a four star hotel, there isn't any tissue paper in the room. I have to buy one box of tissue papers from Carrefour nearby. But in my opinion Hotel Royal Ramblas is an excellent hotel and I would stay there agin in my next visit.

The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and very accommodating. The location was perfect for most of our city touring. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful. We had a standard room which was perfect. The bed and sofa were very comfortable which is rare in hotels. The bathroom and shower/tub were of a perfect size. There was a coffee machine and coffee pods and bottled water in the room which was great. In fact the drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary. My only complaint about our room was lighting. Even with all lights on, the lighting wasn’t bright enough to be able to read. My other complaint was the restaurant pricing for breakfast was very expensive at 59 Euros per person for buffet style so we never ate there. There were so many other outside cafes and breakfast restaurants so we ate out. We’re glad we stayed here and would come back again.

First of all the reception was not really excited about us arriving late night and instead of paying there in the hotel they took already the money from our card we just had to confirm it in the hotel. The reception looks good but they are not caring about any customer. The room was a terrible surprise for us, the bathtub full of hair from the person before, we also booked a double bad and they put 2 beds seperated. So it makes even harder if you go with your couple to cuddle. Me and my partner we both have escoliosis so we have sleeping problem because of our back, the bed is terribly uncomfortable so me personally I couldn’t sleep much, and upon this we both woke up with a lot of pain. No possibility to wash your teeth because there is no toothpaste available in the room, the television only has a couple of channels and these ones are really poor ones as well, if you don’t look at any detail and you just take a look for one second at the hotel you say it is beautiful…, maybe, but if you experience it is the difference like ground and sky. I don’t recommend it.

The room is spacious with a good view but that's about it. There's not much of a service, the front desk lady was not helpful at all and was not welcoming. Amenities: 3 euros per slippers You would have to ask for water bottle at the front desk (normally 1 euro) They only have a 2-in-1 shampoo & body wash and a tiny bar of soap. The only service I received was during checkout. The male staff was helpful and even gave a little gift card upon check out. I would prefer the gift card to be given upon check in so I could've used the discount during my time there.

John at reception was lovely and checked us in, recommending places in the area to eat. The location is truly fantastic, with a metro station only a minutes walk away as well as so many restaurants and shops including Starbucks, Hard Rock Cafe, Zara etc. The rooftop pool and bar was incredible with food and drinks available and lovely staff. The room was absolutely gorgeous and we even had a small balcony which we enjoyed looking out of onto the streets of Barcelona below. I had a great stay at Hilton Barcelona! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with professionalism and kindness. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel's decoration was beautiful and stylish. Additionally, the hotel has a large gym with high-quality equipment. One of the highlights of staying at Hilton was its excellent location in the heart of the city, making it convenient for exploring the surroundings. There are shopping malls, restaurants, and convenience stores close to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for business trips or travelers seeking a quiet and nice experience.

We stayed 7 nights in this historic hotel and celebrated a special occasion during our trip. The hotel is truly beautiful & elegantly decorated, however the service levels were inconsistent and sorely disappointing for a hotel of this standard & price. Also, there was unfortunately no special factor that made this hotel memorable. Rooms - we booked a classic double room for 3 people & got upgraded to a deluxe room on a high floor. While I appreciated the upgrade and the room decor was beautiful, the bathroom (while spacious) was in visible need of refurbishment. The paint was badly peeling in certain parts, the closet doorknob came off on our third day, the glass shower door wouldn't close fully so the bathroom got wet during a shower. I'm not expecting a newly renovated room but for the price, the room should at least be in good working condition. Housekeeping - was very inconsistent and there was a severe lack of attention to detail. Some examples: - Upon check in, the room curtain was unhooked from the first hook and messily hanging - it took 3 days for housekeeping to finally notice & fix this. - For the entirety of our stay, all room amenities were provided for 2 (not 3) people despite us having booked & paid for 3 people. - Used wine glasses & water mugs were not washed for several days until we called housekeeping to do so. - On several days, I came back to my luggage having been moved haphazardly (I think they were trying to make up the extra bed) and not put back in its place. - Turn down service was done beautifully on some days and not at all on other days. Rooftop terrace - was a gorgeous place to dine, food was excellent and the service was lovely. We felt very welcome here and it was a real treat dining here! Definitely try the rooftop terrace at least once! Front desk, concierge and bellman were excellent. The concierge was helpful with dining recommendations and guest relations gave us a cake for the special occasion we were celebrating. The bellman was attentive to get us taxis & always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast - is definitely worth a try! The breakfast room is beautiful and the drawing room leading to it is so regal & gorgeous. Generous spread of food & service was warm as well. Amar - dined here & paid over 400 euros but it was a shockingly disappointing experience. The bread, starters, petit fours & decor were wonderful - but the 200 euros of seafood we ordered was not fresh at all and the service was disinterested & careless. We were abit shocked at how bad it was for a Michelin restaurant. Bluesman cocktail bar - did not try. There's a 50 euro per pax minimum spend but perhaps this could be waived for hotel guests who are already paying a lot for a room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but felt greatly let down by the service standards at this otherwise lovely hotel. Unfortunately, I highly doubt I'd return here again but sincerely hope the hotel improves its service standards to match its elega
