Good rooms. Clean and not 100% comfortable stay. The only disappointment is the staff at the restaurants. On the day of our arrival, we barely managed to have dinner at a restaurant. At first, we were not allowed to enter the restaurant in the lobby because we had two teenagers in our family, aged 14 and 16, and the entrance was only open from 21:00. However, the biggest disappointment came the next day when we tried to book a table at a Japanese restaurant. The receptionist at the hotel started telling us about the dress code, which included no shorts, jeans, polos, or t-shirts. We took note, and the next day we dressed in evening gowns and suits, but we were surprised to see Japanese people in shorts and polos sitting with us.

The value for money here is excellent. At just over 1,000 [currency implied], getting three beds for three people was incredibly cost-effective. The room wasn't large, but it wasn't small either; it was perfectly adequate and standard. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The parking lot is very large with plenty of spaces, and parking fees are cheap. There are many dining options nearby, and there's even a Lawson convenience store right in the hotel. However, the staff at the self-service check-in counter were rather cold and indifferent. This was a bit off-putting, though it might have been due to the crowd. But when I called the front desk, the service over the phone was excellent. Plus, they even offer buckwheat pillows!

Ginza/Tsukiji/Shinbashi Tokyo|0.49km from city centre
The best hotel I’ve stayed so far in Tokyo. Ginza is my most favorite district in Tokyo, and knowing Ginza as a luxury place, it is surprising to be at a 4-star hotel that doesn’t break the bank. I love the location that it is near to everything that you need - train station, Don Quijote, konbini, pharmacy, malls. The cherry on top - the great view of the skyscrapers of Tokyo, especially the Tokyo tower from a distance. I like how the room is designed to have a great view of the skyscrapers as well aside from the lobby. The room was quite small, but I do understand due to the limited spaces and such in Japan. Even though the room is small, I’d still give it a 5/5 due to the overall cleanliness, view, amneties, elegance and luxurious vibe that doesn’t need to be expensive, great toilet and bath as special mention. The staffs are very helpful and attentive. Their simple greetings and smiles are more than enough to make you feel welcome and brighten up your day/night. If I would go back to Tokyo in the next couple of months, I will definitely book again on this hotel, as this is the gem I’ve found. If the management will allow, I would like to have a special mention to Sue (I’m not sure if the spelling is correct). She is very attentive to me and helped me ensure that me and my dad’s luggage are secured, and of course when it was time for me to get the luggage. She is polite and made me felt warm with the little and quick side conversation we had. Hope to see Sue again when I come back. It is nice to meet her, and hopefully may keep in touch. Thank you management team for always keeping your guests welcome and at home. -Mark

The room was quite spacious, and we found our 4-night stay very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, not one of those overly soft types. The location was excellent, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven stores conveniently located nearby. In fact, there's a 7-Eleven right on the ground floor of the hotel – it couldn't be more convenient! The hotel is very close to the subway station. You can easily walk to Shinjuku to catch a train, or take one from Tochomae Station. The hotel had quite a few international guests, and we were pleased to find a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. The daily housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a very clean, pleasant, and comfortable stay.

Loved this hotel as my base for a 6-day Tokyo trip! The location is excellent as it’s a short walk to the Ginza A3 exit, which makes airport transfers with luggage really easy. The path is wide, flat, clean, and uncrowded. There are plenty of food options nearby, many open until midnight (like around Ginza 5 or under the rails), plus endless shopping thanks to the flagship stores in the area; Onitsuka, Muji, Uniqlo, as well as vintage and luxury stores. Compared to busier areas like Shinjuku, nights here feel calm and quiet, though you’ll still see plenty of office workers out for dinner and drinks. Occasionally, you might notice escorts in the area or checking into the hotel late at night, but it was never a disturbance. The room was a little dated and compact; as expected for Tokyo but clean, quiet, comfortable and just right to fit 2 large luggages. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the convenient touches like digital laundry and the free water and drink kiosk on the floor. Overall, it’s a fantastic value.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande. The location is unbeatable — just minutes away from the famous Tsukiji Market and the upscale Ginza shopping area, making it perfect for both exploring Tokyo’s culinary scene and shopping. The hotel is clean and modern, with comfortable rooms that, although compact, make efficient use of space. The staff were friendly and very helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the quiet atmosphere despite being in a busy part of the city. While breakfast options were simple, they were fresh and satisfying. The hotel entrance and lobby are welcoming, creating a great first impression. Overall, Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande offers excellent value for money, especially for travelers who want to be in the heart of Tokyo. I highly recommend it for short stays and city explorers.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu in early June and were very pleased! The hotel is located in the prestigious Ginza district, just a 5-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza subway station, making it very convenient for getting around the city. Great location – Close to shops, restaurants, and major shopping centers. Clean and cozy rooms – Compact, but everything is well thought out. The hand sink was practically right next to the bed, which seemed odd at first but turned out to be quite convenient. Friendly staff – The front desk speaks English and was very helpful with our luggage. We left our suitcase at the hotel for two days while traveling to another city, which was extremely convenient and kind of them. Good breakfast – Included in our booking, mostly featuring Japanese dishes. Missing the usual eggs—here, they only serve them raw. Quiet – Despite the central location, the room was very quiet, and we slept great. Practical layout – The toilet and shower are in separate spaces, which was convenient. We barely even glanced out the window—the view was of a construction site. Final thoughts: A comfortable and well-located hotel with thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended for couples exploring Tokyo!

Ctrip indicated a 200 JPY service fee payable upon arrival, but I was charged 1400 JPY at check-in. It took some negotiation, but they eventually refunded me. The cleanliness was only so-so, and the room was quite small. However, the location was excellent, making subway travel very convenient.

The hotel is very grand, featuring a spacious, elegantly decorated lobby with a distinctive centerpiece of purple-pink cockscomb flowers. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted by staff who took our luggage, escorted us to the front desk for check-in, and then delivered our bags to our room. The front desk staff were highly efficient, making both check-in and check-out incredibly fast. We had booked a room in the tower and were pleasantly surprised to be assigned a high-floor room with views of the Imperial Palace. Even though there's an elevated light rail line directly below with trains continuously passing, we only perceived minimal noise. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast is served on the 17th floor, the top floor of the main building. While the selection wasn't extensive, it more than made up for it with delicious food, excellent service, and superb views. The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of Hibiya Park, the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, and Ginza. It's also about a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station, which was perfect for a post-dinner stroll to digest. We had a truly delightful stay.

The room was a decent size; we could easily open both our 28-inch and 26-inch suitcases simultaneously. Downstairs, there's a FamilyMart convenience store, which is super handy for buying essentials. It's also conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. It's a man-less hotel, even the concierge is just 3 tablets for self check in / out. Therefore I'm marking it 3/5 for service as service staff is literally non-existence lol 😂 The self check in requires a short video call via the tablet for the staff to perform some verification, but the staff did not speak English which made it an issue. He didn't explain clearly either and we were left on hold. Hotel room is super compact but for the price paid, I think it's worth it. There's a tiny wardrobe that fits only 4 hanging apparel 😂 The in-room fridge was practically not cold even though I made sure it was switched on. Suggestion to hotel: drill some hooks on the walls for hanging of jackets! The hotel has no common facility, usually we don't wash our clothes when we travel but when we wanted to, we realized there's no laundry machine. No microwave or oven either. Suggestion to hotel: have a common area for such amenities on level 1 since it's restricted access for hotel guests only anyway. Location is very convenient! Just a 5-10 minute walk from Honjo-Azumabashi station, Asakusa line, which is very convenient as this is also a direct line for the airport express train. Also, we saw many photo reviews of cute panda amenities but we were not given any. Probably because we booked the cheap room (low floor with no sky tower view) thus the differential treatment 😂😂 I personally didn't like that we were treated differently due to lower price paid
