There was no offer to assist us with the luggage and we had to use stairs. Reception was very friendly and gave a quiet room as requested. However the room is far away from the gym and pool. Room is nice but small. The down side of our trip was the room service that did the beds but did not clean up the bar and there was no conditioner top up throughout the stay. Requesting refill etc was quite disruptive to our evening as the staff could not fulfil the requested properly without multiple visits. They have a nice luggage room and allow guest to keep their belongings safely. Generally we had a better experience at the Fairmont in Montréal.

The bar near the lobby is nice and they have a beautiful bar. The breakfast is not good. They say is included and they only let you have one option from the menu. Luxury is flexibility. Having to pay extra if I want to eat more in a five star hotel feels cheap.

The Kimpton St. George Hotel is located in the city center, close to the University of Toronto. It is very convenient to travel to and from the campus and shopping. Thank you Ctrip for giving us the right choice. The soft-boiled eggs for breakfast were great, and the French fries were also delicious. The hotel room is clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the service is good. Come to Toronto, stay at Kimpton.

It felt like a hotel with a nice historical atmosphere. The room was nice and the hotel was comfortable without any complaints. Coffee is available in the lobby in the morning, a la carte breakfast (for a fee) is available at the hotel restaurant, and there is a nice cafe nearby, making it a convenient location. Looking at the reviews of nearby hotels, I thought they might not have toothbrushes and slippers, so I brought them, but they weren't. Also, in this room, although there is a shelf for storing clothes, it was not uncommon for there to be space for hanging clothes and hangers. We only brought casual clothes for our 2-night stay, so there was no problem, but if you need a suit, it might be better to check with the hotel. Even though it was my first time in Canada, I didn't have enough time to find a hotel this time, so I was hesitant to compare it with other major hotels in the same price range the day before. I'm glad I ended up staying here, and I'd definitely like to use it again next time.

Among the many hotels near Toronto Airport, the DoubleTree by Hilton is closer to bus 52. Whether it is going east to the Lawrence West subway entrance, or going west to Toronto Pearson Airport, it is more convenient. The lobby is bright and clean. There are two restaurants on the first floor: Starbucks and Jack Astors.

If you want to stay in downtown Toronto, the location couldn’t be better than this hotel. Don’t expect a lot in terms of service and the reception area if always busy (it’s a large hotel, favoured by many airlines crews) but once you’re in the room, the rooms are decent. Again, great location.

Food was under average for a Hotel of this status. I ate in room as well as at the lobby restaurant twice during my two night stay. Just not putting any effort for that little bit extra that is needed to get a thumbs up and have people remembering that this Hotel respects food too.

When staying at the hotel, the front desk informed that all non-alcoholic beverages in the mini-bar are free because they have been prepaid. After that, bring some desserts. Someone knocked on the door at night, asking if a turndown service was needed. Before leaving, I was told that there are additional charges: facility charge $12, Neighbourhood Mktg $4.89. This is required upon check-in.
