Visited Bangkok for 3 days and stayed at this hotel. It is a very big hotel with a large lobby and 24/7 reception. We checked in at 3am with no problem (booked an extra night). Breakfast was an extra 200 baht if selected at check in, or 250 paid at the restaurant. The room is very spacious and clean. The only issue is that the bathroom is quite old and the tap and shower are sometimes a bit leaky which can be annoying at night. Nonetheless great value for price and great location.

The hotel was very nice! The service is amazing, everyone is kind and welcoming. They are very helpful and take time to explain if something isn’t clear. The staff is very kind, the bellboys are helpful and they always helped with our bags, some of the staff can help with getting transportation too. We had P'Four help us! The hotel has a vintage vibe, the rooms are spacious and clean. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a city view. Its close to ChitLom station which is one stop away from Siam Paragon. You can also walk to centralWorld or Siam. It's only a 20min walk. Theres a lounge on the 24th floor. And they also have a bistro in the basement. There's a pool on the 19th floor but we didn't have time to try it.

AC blower can be quite a disturbance in the night, too loud. Can hear the corridor sound ppl getting in and out of the room and talking loudly. Overall rating 4/5

I stayed here a few times. Friends wonder why i choose to stay on the outskirts of Bangkok. It is actually not far from the Bangkok city centre. Just 3 stops on the train, and i am in Siam Paragon. And the station is less than 10 min walk from the hotel. Being a little out of the city centre allows me to be away from the crowd when i have done what i needed to do in the city centre. Hotels in the city centre tend to have many people around and in the lobbying. Pullman Kingpower's surroundings are much quieter and serene. It is good to have a place to get away from the crowds and congestion of the city centre Also, this hotel is huge with its surroundings uncluttered or congested by high-rise buildings. Kingpower duty-free shopping mall next door offers free coach transfers to the airport twice a day. There is no need to buy anything to get on the coach. It also offers a free access lounge if you need it. Transfers and lounge are only for customers of the hotel and the mall. Around the hotel, there are many small traditional Thai style shops, trendy cafes and decent massage services. There is also a cinema in a shopping mall nearby that has also a supermarket, foodcourt and many wonderful restaurants and eateries.

I stayed at the **Ambassador Hotel Bangkok** in a **Standard Twin Bed room** in the **Square Wing**, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price and location. **Room (Square Wing - Standard Twin Bed):** The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated in terms of decor. It's located in the Square Wing, which has a more classic feel compared to the newer Sky Wing. If you're looking for something more modern, the Sky Wing may be a better choice. However, the Square Wing still offers good value and a restful night's sleep. **Breakfast:** Breakfast was included in the stay, which was convenient. While the variety of food wasn't extensive, there were enough choices for a simple meal. The dining area can get quite busy during peak hours, so there were occasional delays in food refills, but the staff worked hard to keep things running smoothly. Going a bit earlier might help avoid the rush. **Location & Facilities:** The location is excellent—right in the heart of Sukhumvit, close to the BTS Nana station and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The hotel has a wide range of facilities, including a gym and pool. Staff were friendly and tried their best to assist even when things got busy. **Overall:** This hotel offers **good value for money** if you're looking for a central location in Bangkok. It’s a large property with a mix of room types, and while the Square Wing is more traditional, it’s still comfortable. For a smoother experience, consider checking breakfast timings and possibly exploring the Sky Wing for upgraded rooms.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Hotel Bangkok, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Nestled in the heart of Bangkok near the vibrant Sam Yan area, this hotel offers the perfect combination of modern elegance and traditional Thai charm. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality stood out. Every team member, from the concierge to housekeeping, was attentive, courteous, and genuinely eager to make my stay comfortable. Check-in was swift and hassle-free, and I was personally guided to my room with helpful explanations of the hotel’s amenities. The room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully designed, blending contemporary décor with subtle Thai touches. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom came equipped with a rainfall shower and high-quality toiletries. Daily housekeeping was meticulous, and the in-room amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a smart TV, added to the convenience. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. It offered an impressive variety of Thai and international dishes, all fresh and flavorful. The restaurant’s ambiance was calm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to start the day. Location-wise, Mandarin Hotel is hard to beat. It’s just a short walk to the MRT Sam Yan station, offering quick access to shopping areas like Siam and Silom, as well as Bangkok’s cultural landmarks. The proximity to the Samyan Mitrtown mall and local eateries adds another layer of convenience. Overall, the Mandarin Hotel Bangkok delivers excellent value for money. Whether you’re a business traveler, a tourist, or on a family holiday, this hotel provides comfort, service, and location in perfect harmony. I wouldn’t hesitate to return on my next trip to Bangkok.

It's the best stay in Bangkok for a nice retreat. We are being welcome nicely from the start. We booked the Suites with Lounge access, which the staff check us in on 19th floor. The lounge is quiet and comfy. We are presented with a welcome drink, a refreshing and cool towel with essential oil, and some snack. The staff are constantly smiling. Room is very big with big bath tub and a real king size bed, which the linen and mattress are the real deal. The breakfast is with great variety. I will definitely staying with this hotel again!

The hotel is in a good location. Have a lot of street food around. Breakfast was ok. When we arrived, we went up to the room. The Aircon didn't work properly. Not cold at all. We called the reception to ask for a technician to help. After we come back from dinner. First we found one cockroach running around. My partner tried to kill it and a few minutes later, we found the other one running around but this one we couldn't catch and we missed it. This is my first time in this hotel. I have some business to do around Phra Kanong that's why we chose this hotel but I am not impressed.

Repeat stay. Service is great as usual; I left something in the room and emailed the staff to hold it for me as (thankfully) I'm returning from Isaan after a couple of days. Only stayed a couple of hours as my returning flight to DMK was delayed and I had to catch an early morning flight out of BKK. But the bed was comfortable, as always, and was just what I needed.

Very good location in Sukhumvit, right next to Terminal 21 shopping mall, Asok BTS and Sukhumvit Metro line. 2nd time in this hotel and looking forward for more. Great location, near platinum mall with many eateries around. There's a ton of massage parlor juz outside hotel. But they're building an underground BTS and the main road is jammed. It's already a busy road in the past now it's more challenging. But the hotel provides a one way van shuttle to BTS, Central world and Siam at certain timing so it's great and convenient. Just need to book with concierge. Though it's a great and comfortable hotel, hope the hotel management can look into upgrading the lift, it's small and slow during peak hours like breakfast and checking out.
