Visited Bangkok for 3 days and stayed at this hotel. It is a very big hotel with a large lobby and 24/7 reception. We checked in at 3am with no problem (booked an extra night). Breakfast was an extra 200 baht if selected at check in, or 250 paid at the restaurant. The room is very spacious and clean. The only issue is that the bathroom is quite old and the tap and shower are sometimes a bit leaky which can be annoying at night. Nonetheless great value for price and great location.

The location of the hotel is located beside Asiatique. Expect quieter area compared to city area. Service from the hotel staff is excellent. They open the door for your when you arrive from the car or going in the car. Theres multiple 7E and massage shop outside of the hotel. What i like is about the breakfast buffet. So many varieties and the food options always change after the food finishes. Makes you always want to go a few round. Really a wow factor to me compared to other hotel. If you want to travel to city, theres a complimentary boat shuttle to BTS. From there you can take boat to attractions along the river or BTS to Siam. However, theres no night life around the hotel area.

It has a quirky great gatsby theme, which is the appeal and selling point of the hotel - aside from that, the hotel has rooms for improvement if they position themselves as a luxury 4-5 stars. Room and corridors are all quite dark. Bed and pillows are heavenly. Bathroom is dark and hard to do make up. Water pressure was good, they only have two big towels; not even medium towels are supplied for hair. No air ventilator in the bathroom either. Breakfast was most disappointing. They have buffet and special made order. The latter took so long to be delivered. And when it came, the portion and presentation was most disappointing. The so called fluffy pancake was the most disgusting pancake I have had. It’s very hard and chewy. Buffet breakfast was basic at best, one round of serving is more than enough. No need to go for second round. Service was mediocre at best from breakfast, rooftop bar to reception. The best was bell boy who attended our transportation arrangements to the airport. The hotel is fine, too gimmicky for my taste. Feels like they put on too much cosmetic, gimmicky efforts and not enough on the basic customer experience and hotel offering. I had high hopes because it was part of the autograph collection. Tried it once, never again. Not with this, or any other autograph collections.

A very pleasant hotel, everything met our expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Housekeeping cleaned thoroughly every day. The staff were always polite, friendly, and quick to help with any requests. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of dishes. The location is convenient — there are cafes, shops, and public transport nearby. It’s easy to walk to the city center or reach it within a few minutes by taxi. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, with a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

A solid 5 star hotel with great facilities. Beautifully designed lobby, garden, bar and pool area. I stayed amidst their renovation, i was given 500barht cash voucher per day which is a fantastic gesture. Location wise, it’s a 10mins walk to Victory Monument BTS. If you come from airport, you’d better take taxi rather than riding the airport line. Google map shows it’s an easy 10mins walk from the Phaya Thai station however there are several cross bridges.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Hotel Bangkok, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Nestled in the heart of Bangkok near the vibrant Sam Yan area, this hotel offers the perfect combination of modern elegance and traditional Thai charm. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality stood out. Every team member, from the concierge to housekeeping, was attentive, courteous, and genuinely eager to make my stay comfortable. Check-in was swift and hassle-free, and I was personally guided to my room with helpful explanations of the hotel’s amenities. The room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully designed, blending contemporary décor with subtle Thai touches. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom came equipped with a rainfall shower and high-quality toiletries. Daily housekeeping was meticulous, and the in-room amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a smart TV, added to the convenience. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. It offered an impressive variety of Thai and international dishes, all fresh and flavorful. The restaurant’s ambiance was calm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to start the day. Location-wise, Mandarin Hotel is hard to beat. It’s just a short walk to the MRT Sam Yan station, offering quick access to shopping areas like Siam and Silom, as well as Bangkok’s cultural landmarks. The proximity to the Samyan Mitrtown mall and local eateries adds another layer of convenience. Overall, the Mandarin Hotel Bangkok delivers excellent value for money. Whether you’re a business traveler, a tourist, or on a family holiday, this hotel provides comfort, service, and location in perfect harmony. I wouldn’t hesitate to return on my next trip to Bangkok.

1. View is good especially at Moon Bar. If you stay at Ban Yan tree BKK, must visit because there will be entry fee THB 800 for outsider visitor but in-house is free entry, 2. Room cleanliness is honestly tell that; a) shower room has smells from drainage especially for 1st night but after shower, smells will be lesser.. b) amazing bath amenity that bath foam and bath oil, salt are awesome, pls try it however mold on the bath amenities area, which around the light that you won’t see it unless doing bath.. 😅 3. For check-out, you better to check the bill because, there was on daily extra charge around THB 60+ which for donation of Turtle 🐢that we never get information .. front desk staff genuinely removed it from bill.. it’s better to inform guest upon check in for better communication if needs to avoid inaccurate billing issue. 4. MRT, exit 2 and just go straight then you will see the hotel but need walk around 10-15min. Good thing is 7/11 very near not even walk 3min and you can buy the SIM card if needs.. THB99 for 5 days 10 GB which cheaper than airport. 5. Only outdoor pool they have, a bit small area which two people swim then feel already crowded 🤣 6. Some of housekeeping polite but not all. HSKP staff was explained that wet bathrobe was just hanged inside bathroom, once informed to HSKP staff, she helped to change but just directly open the wardrobe without any permission which made feeling uncomfortable. 7. Room has glass bottle of waters provided as complimentary. However the cover has some smells but the water still fine. 8. Noise from road even we stayed at 57F, some of cars seems taking shooting for fast & Furious 🙂↔️🙂↔️ Recommend as experience ..

Hotel room was immaculate and of a decent size. Water pressure in the shower was very good. It was just lacking a rack where we could put our own toiletries. Air-conditioning was also excellent. Breakfast buffet at level 7 was terrible. It was affordable (250 baht nett) but the selection was poor and very limited seating during the peak hours (I was there between 915am and 10am). The hotel is a short 7 minutes walk away to the nearest BTS station (Phra Khanong) and there is 7-11 conveniently located right beside the hotel. Do note that the check in timing is at 2pm and I had to wait from 9am all the way till I finally got checked in at 245pm (though the official check in timing was at 2pm). There were other guests who arrived later than I did and they got their rooms before I did because there was no proper queue management system in place. I think the hotel management can better manage this.

Hotel is conveniently located and just above Platinum Wholesale Shopping Centre. Can just walk to Big-C supermarket and Central Mall (opposite Big C) within 10 mins from the link bridges. Receptionists at the counter are very helpful and provide free welcome juice drink on arrival to the hotel. Requested 2 more bottles of drinking water and staff replenish them daily. You can also purchase breakfast buffet at 350THB for each guest which is cheaper than getting from Trip.com when you book the room. There is a large variety of food choices. Will stay in this hotel again when I visit Bangkok.

I can't remember how many times I've stayed at this property but it's always a great experience. It's conveniently located near many great restaurants and cafes in the Thong Lor and Ekkamai area, but it also means that you'll have to contend with a bit of traffic on Sukhumvit road. Breakfast is great with a Thai noodle station where they prepare different types of local noodle dishes daily, and a relatively varied buffet spread.
