Our entire stay was nothing short of amazing, and we truly enjoyed every moment from the time we checked in until our departure. The room was well-prepared, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard by the housekeeping team, who ensured everything was spotless and welcoming throughout our stay. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service and hospitality we received from the staff. Ajay at the front office was an absolute star – always approachable, polite, and extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and guided us with genuine care whenever we required assistance. His professionalism and warm attitude made a lasting impression on us. Equally, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Simran and Priya in the kitchen, who made our dining experience truly delightful. They not only ensured that the food was excellent but also added a personal touch with their kindness and attentiveness. Every interaction with them made us feel valued as guests, and their efforts made our mealtimes so enjoyable. Overall, the combination of excellent facilities and outstanding staff made this stay one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had. We sincerely appreciate the dedication and hard work of the entire team, and we will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning in the future.

**Disappointed by Front Desk Experience** I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was truly frustrating. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was cold and dismissive. No greeting, no smile—just a curt “ID and credit card.” I tried asking a few questions about the amenities and check-out time, but he seemed annoyed and uninterested, barely making eye contact. What really bothered me was the lack of professionalism. When I mentioned a concern about my room, he rolled her eyes and told me to “wait until housekeeping deals with it,” without offering any help or even acknowledging the inconvenience. I felt like I was interrupting her day rather than being welcomed as a guest. A hotel’s front desk sets the tone for the entire stay, and unfortunately, this one made me feel unwelcome from the start. I hope management takes this seriously and invests in proper customer service training.

This front desk staff member named Shafali is, without a doubt, the worst I have ever encountered in all my travels. When we first handed her our passports, she was flirting with a male security guard and chatting with her male colleague, showing a dismissive attitude throughout the entire interaction. There was no greeting, no polite language—she only spoke in single words like ”passport” and ”second passport,” which came across as highly unprofessional. When we requested a second key card, she outright refused without any explanation. What made it even more frustrating was that I had clearly stated ”two separate beds, please” in the special requests on Trip, but upon entering the room, we found it was a double bed. She hadn’t even bothered to confirm my request! In the end, we had to ask the housekeeping staff to convert the double bed into two single beds on the spot. After a long and tiring journey, we had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes for the housekeeping staff to make the bed, which was a complete waste of time. Since she refused to provide a second key card, we had to go back downstairs to ask a male front desk staff member for an additional one, further wasting our time. In contrast, the housekeeping staff on the sixth floor and the security guards downstairs were very friendly and provided excellent service. However, the hotel facilities are quite outdated, and there was a strong unpleasant smell near the elevator exit. The breakfast options were limited and not particularly tasty. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the light rail station and the airport, making it a suitable choice for travelers catching flights.

Bur Dubai Dubai|6.45km from city centre
This is a difficult review to write as the QE2 is a very famous passenger liner (not a cruise ship) converted into a hotel, which means that it is nothing like a normal hotel and cannot be judged as one. By necessity it is moored in the docks area far from the city and there is almost nothing nearby. However that is rapidly changing and the whole area is undergoing massive regeneration. The new reception building is first class as are the staff. We were made most welcome and shown to our room (cabin) by a consierge, who explained the layout of the ship to us. The cabins have been very successfully converted into modern hotel rooms with many of the original ship fittings retained, providing a nostalgic touch. The dining facilities were excellent. A massive buffet breakfast to start and an excellent evening meal with our half board package. This a full three courses from the a la carte menu, a touch of class. The downside of the dining is that it is at the rear of the hotel and if you have a room at the front then it is a long walk. If you are expecting a modern conversion then you will be disappointed as the hotel has retained many of the ship's fixtures and fittings, which, although very high quality are now a bit dated. Each day there is a Heritage Tour of the hotel where the history of the ship is explained. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend it It is an experience not to be missed, not a hotel stay.

Hotel is 30s from Dubai Internet City Metro, which is very outstanding from all other hotels. But all bathroom towel and drinking water bottles were removed by housekeeping everyday, but no refill nearly whole fiur days stay. This took over 90 mins and chased many times with room service call desk '0' to get refill. When direct ask room outside housekeeping refill, the staff will say later refill but disappear because their trolley never got that enough towel and water bottle refill after cleaning the room. Front desk and coceige are very nice ans willing to help, but room service is the worst I ever saw before. If hotel can improve room service part to refill the same number of towel and water bottles, mamy complaints should be easily avoided.

We found this hotel just to be average, it is definitely not a 5 star hotel, the service was at times poor, hotel was too busy and did not have enough staff. The pools were small and the pool side service was poor, no free ice lollies to cool you down, and water was not provided automatically. Visiting the beach was a mission, as you could only go through one way, otherwise security stopped you and treated you like a criminal. The shower flooded every time we used it, even after reporting the issue, nothing was done, We have stayed ay better hotels in Dubai far cheaper that give you the service that you would expect from a 5 start hotel, we would not stay here again. At Fairmont the little things were not there, and it spoilt our 4 day stay.

I have stayed at this hotel couple of times. Facilities are good but the service is a let down. I have asked for a quiet room and I was told by reception there could be some noise due to renovation, I was ok if there’s some noise in daytime due to renovation, but I wasn’t informed that there is a painting job going on and the strong smell of paint filled the room. When I informed the staff, I was told painting is not in the hotel but upon my insistence they checked again to confirm that painting is going on. I have informed the staff that smell of paint is strong and it’s a HEALTH AND SAFETY issue for the hotel guests. But I was told they can’t stop the painting.

Third time in this hotel and probably this will be the last... a disaster. First for all ALL members please consider if u book with Third part here they will not only not give u reward points as normal, but they will neither consider your status... or maybe like in my case even worse... and price is so different on accor system that probably they consider your status a burden and charge an higher price to handle you. Than to the stay problems... My room was not ready till after 4, I had a meeting schedule for 3 and hoped to be able to drop the luggage before... but impossible and I had to change myself in the spa. Please note I sent a mail 1 week before requesting a 1h early check in and even my all accor status (platinum) In the room there was and issue with the tv. I call and they fix it. Second day if my stay when I back at 4 my room was not set up, I had to call 3 times to get it done, but again not something should be done The room is spacious even if old and tired. Hotwater at 7.30am require some minute to arrive. Consider if you are placed on a low floor you will feel the huge noisy bars and club behind you, that will keep you awake till about 1am Breakfast is ok, with an extensive range if food and good quality. Staff is super kind and helpful, but they cannot do nothing, basically to every complain i did they simply answer with an apoligy and nothing change... so clearly a problem in the management procedure. My conclusion is: even if u get a great deal on trip.com, and definitely is still better book here than the hotel booking system as around 30% cheaper, there are so many better option in the same price and standard range.

Anatara The Palm is perfect as a family resort. It's location isn't the most accessible (as it is towards the end of the Palm) but isn't it the purpose? The hotel has excellent staff training offering very attentive and friendly service, plus facilities for everyone in the family. The F&B is great offering Asian, Steakhouse, and International proper dining cuisines, plus pool side and beach side bar/cafe and restaurant too. The sports centre is also great offering a wide variety of activities for adults and kids. The hotel also has free shuttle bus service to/from the Emirates shopping mall (closest mall to the Palm) which ride will take about 20-25min. Thumbs up!
