We got to the hotel after midnight and was told that the room is flooded and no other room available for now. We were sent to a different hotel and told that they would have a room for us in the morning. They sent us from Crowne Plaza to Ramada (an outrageous downgrade). We slept a few hours at Ramada and checked out and returned to the front desk of Crowne Plaza. The lady at the front desk told us that there were still no room for us and we had to go back to the Ramada again. We told her we would like to speak to her manager, and she said she is the manager. I told her that the arrangement is not acceptable. Finally, she said that a room would be available in 20 minutes. What a ridiculous experience!

Overall a lovely stay. A lots of pros- Great breakfast, friendly staff, 24hr gym, free parking, very safe. Booked a one day tour to Troy, got picked up and drop off at the hotel, saved 2 trips to the Istanbul city,a present surprise. Own experience - Location is far and not easily accessible from main tourist attractions. For self drive, the hotel is located next to a highway, if missed the turning, go around is 7 min. Baby pool was not open, swimming hat compulsory or can buy for 130TR from spa desk.

The hotel was quite nice, but I expected more from a 4-star hotel. Positive sides are a nice room, clean bathroom, amenities and most of all the position between two metro stations. Basically it's about a 10-12 minute walk from each of them. The staff was friendly and they helped me with the luggage. Breakfast was very good, with a large choice of Turkish food. The only thing they missed was Turkish coffee. Negative sides are that the swimming pool wasn't working in the morning. That was actually the main reason why I chose that hotel, but apparently the pool starts working at 12 o'clock. The other negative is poor sound isolation. I heard my neighbours and everyone walking and talking in the corridor. However, the street sound was eliminated to zero when you close the windows.

Overall it was not bad, the hotel is in a really good location, walking distance to everywhere, especially for those who want to have a city walk. I had early check in at 9am, which was really nice. The staffs were all nice. However, the room was so small with a pretty small window, I saw window in other rooms was not. And obviously, the soundproof not good, can hear what happen clearly on the outside aisle⋯

Compared to last year, I have to give a minus point for the service, but this is not due to the staff but rather to the management. With such a high guest frequency, more staff should be employed accordingly. They were sometimes overwhelmed and couldn't quite keep up with all the orders and clearing the tables, forgetting orders, Refills etc. I recommend it anyway because it’s a nice Hotel well located!!!

The hotel is very clean and well-equipped. The decoration style is gorgeous, in Azerbaijan style, and the highlight is the mosaic pattern in the bathroom, which is the same as that of Hagia Sophia. The breakfast room has a view of the Strait and the service is good. The bad things: the front desk and concierge constantly promote expensive car services, which are very eager and greasy, always trying to earn high euro tips, which makes people uncomfortable. The hotel is on a very steep slope, and the surrounding traffic is very congested, making it inconvenient to travel. There is also a room cleaning fee of about 20 euros per day... After staying for two days, I received a bill of 90 euros when I left, including 10 minutes of car use. If you want to experience exotic customs, you can try it. It is discouraged to bring children and the elderly, which will bring you a lot of trouble during your trip, and you have to fight wits with the guys at the front desk.

I left another review before. Gym is nice but hours are limited. They have music or a club playing so try to stay in the middle floors or it can be loud. The room is more than adequately sized. besides check in being a little bit rough and less friendly than I expect the rest of service was fine. Trip.com definitely had the best price. I tried to price match through going through their own site, but they would not price match Trip.com. Take public transport to European site is pretty easy and saves a ton of money

The decoration and facilities are average. The hot water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold. You can never adjust the temperature to the right one. However, the water temperature of the sauna room below is quite normal. You can go there to wash. Don't try the one in the room. The Internet in the room is not good, but the one in the lobby below is OK. The price is medium. Don't be too demanding when choosing this place. The sauna and sweat steaming swimming are OK. It is not far from the Asian airport, about 20 minutes by taxi. But there are no Chinese restaurants around, so those who are used to eating local food can ignore it. The hotel has a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. I personally think that breakfast is OK at 575 lira, and lunch is a bit high at 750 lira. You can go to the restaurant outside or order it yourself in the hotel restaurant, which is more cost-effective. It seems that you can do laundry for free, but there is no laundry bag in my room. The front desk asked me to put it in the laundry bag and send it to the front desk. I didn't find the laundry bag and didn't ask again.
