This hotel truly embodies the high standards of a tourist city, and I was completely won over. The atmosphere is lovely, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the service was also top-notch. It's very convenient for getting around, with metro and bus stops right nearby. Three of Gaudi's most famous works are within walking distance. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the room was quite spacious.

5-Star Location and Service This an advance birthday trip of my husband and this hotel really stands tall among the competition because of the central location, price and services. Right in the center of action and tourist sites of Barcelona-Passeig De Gracia, High End Shops and Top Tapas restaurants are everywhere-- all around is high end, modern and has fashion-forward vibe! There are also so many affordable places to go too and really has a safe feel everywhere especially for tourists. Cabs are overflowing as this is in the center of Barcelona. The hotel is literally connected to the high end shops so it is posh and lovely! The staffs especially the reception, ushers, are all helpful and pleasant and really made you feel so special as they made effort to know who you are-- I was greeted with recognition of my name from the bellman to the front plus a note screen in the hotel room-- very personalized! If you plan to visit Barcelona, JUST GO HERE-- you would not regret it! Price: Very Good Value: Very Good (Love the Atelier smell everywhere) Location: Excellent Service: Excellent Highly recommended 10/10 We will be back!

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. It was tiring to carry my luggage all the way to the bus station 🫠

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! Casa Batlló, Casa Mila, and Gracias Avenue are all downstairs. You can return to the hotel after shopping, and the security is very good, which makes people feel at ease. The terrace room I booked is very beautiful, and I can see the beautiful sunset every day. I will book this hotel next time.

Large, clean and comfortable room. No frills. It was summer but the air conditioning worked great. Staff were competent and polite but not exactly friendly. If you’re a tea drinker, you may wish to bring your own mug as the cups provided in the kitchen are sized for espresso and small. There were larger cups available at the breakfast buffet but we weren’t allowed to bring them to our room. The breakfast was lovely, I thought. Worth the 14 euros each. The spread was similar everyday but the food was such high quality I happily ate it three days in a row. Location was excellent. Didn’t realise it was 10 minutes walk to Av. Diagonal which has pretty tree-lined streets and nice shops in L’illa Mall Diagonal.

Initially we were given a terrible room with a terrible bathroom. A day later we decided to find out if it was possible to change the number and we were given a normal number. Please note that the photos presented here do not refer to standard rooms (most likely in the photo - luxury)

Not the best. The receptionists were not really friendly. The restaurant didn’t do the reservation for me & I had to always say my room number before sitting down in the restaurant. In other hotels they know which room number has booked the breakfast and they do a table reservation for that room number beforehand. I also had to drink almost a cold Moroccan tea because I was not informed I could order warm tea/coffee at the first breakfast I had. At the last breakfast they came to me and asked whether I wanted to have a warm drink/warm breakfast meal. I also told them the fridge in the room didn’t work and they didn’t do anything about it. It was not the best experience overall.

I am from Singapore. Was very impressed with the location of the hotel. It has the old castle feel and the roof top pool n good view and the pretty spirals staircase of the hotel to the roof top . The only fault I can find was the bath towels were not very clean. Have feedback to the Mgt and saw the pretty and friendly Manager Ms Monica who is efficient and quick to settle the imperfect and make us have a Happy Stay again . I love the key . Snap shot of the beautify key and the beautiful spiral stairs for your view. Thumbs up for location, service and breakfast. Buffet breakfast reasonably nice . You can even see the Sagrada Familia at the roof top view . Missed out the night scene though. We were too tired shopping at night and forgot to take the night scene .

The hotel's location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Casa Milà is just a minute's walk away, and many attractions are within walking distance. We flew to Barcelona from our home country that day, arriving at the hotel around 11:00 AM. We originally planned to just drop off our luggage and wait for the official check-in time. However, the hotel graciously allowed us to check in early, which was absolutely fantastic! Despite my limited English, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, patiently assisting me and explaining the check-in process. The room was very clean and quite spacious. It's a shame I didn't take any photos of it. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Highly recommended!

Super awesome! I booked a suite for three nights with my kids and upgraded to a suite with a view of Casa Batlló. The surprise was that I caught the light show of Casa Batlló on the last night. I could see the light show directly on the terrace of the room without having to go to the street to watch it. It was so awesome! The room was big and full of details. The fruits delivered every night were very rich. Champagne and cake were also delivered on the first night! Mandarin Oriental should be the best hotel in Barcelona. We walked to the three Gaudi attractions and Passeig de Gràcia was very easy to visit. I will definitely stay at Mandarin Oriental next time I come to Barcelona!

Free parking and a good location. The staff is not very helpful. One night, we were locked in the basement because the lift was out of order. We had to climb the stairs to go back to the hotel. We tried to explain the situation to the staff, but they scolded us, insisting that the lift was totally fine and that there were no problems at all. The service needs to be improved.
