"The facility was very nice and clean. For the price, it’s hard to beat. Expect that some of the other people will be noisy or rude, though. Someone was talking on their phone in the room area at 9:30, and around 1:00 someone was loudly munching on snacks. May want to bring noise canceling headphones, but otherwise it was great."
"The room was surprisingly spacious. It is in the heart of Susukino where there are many restaurants and bars to go to during the evening. The complimentary breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast offering of most hotels, which is absolutely fine… parking is quite expensive though. Nevertheless, this hotel is highly recommended for your Sapporo stay…"
"I rebook Daiwa after my short trip to Otaru mainly because my previous stay is fantastic. Room fixtures are still very new and clean. The bath and shower are separated and is huge compared to most Japanese hotel. It is close to metro station. I have to say that staff are awesome and with very positive attitude and willingness to solve any issues. What I also like most is that they have a status update on the public bath and restaurant so that I don’t go in those times when the place is super crowded. Will definitely stay here again. Genuinely Thank you all staff in DRH who make my stay so enjoyable."

"An excellent hotel in a great location with plenty of places to eat at your doorstep. The staff were very professional and kind. The breakfast was great and the free coffee available all day with a bonus sweet treat in the afternoon was very welcome. There are plenty of places to stay in Sapporo but this one was both great value and great service."
"Location is not bad, not as near to Susukino as other similar hotels but, they have their own parking garage, which cost only 1500 yen for the day plus you can move the car in and out without restrictions. Just need to bring the card to front desk to validate it each time when you go out.
We walk to Susukino and the shopping arcade by foot, it takes 20-30min walk, we can actually see the shopping arcade No.7’s section from our window. All in all I like this hotel a lot, breakfast selection is great, but the room size is quite small, well I think this is normal here in Japan in the city. I would come back and stay at this hotel again if I shall return to Sapporo."
"Hotel is huge!
However, it’s not exactly an easy to walk to with luggage in the snow location, it’s literally in between to stations, so it’s always a battle which one to walk to. Hotel has a nice onsen, with several indoor pools, and a tiny outdoor one with no views. It’s a shame that the onsen operating time ends super early And only opens 12-10pm and 7-9am, very disappointing.
Rooms were spacious and tall beds so you can store more luggage underneath but there’s only heater mode during winter and you will have to get the staffs to help unlock the window because it is too warm in the room."
"Very good location with less than 5mins walking distance to many spots such as Sapporo Clock Tower, CTS airport bus stop and Sapporo Station. Smooth check-in process. Only the coin laundry, the dryer machine is a bit too small so we have to dry for 3 times for our 2 days clothes."
"Location near Sapporo train station. There is a 10 minute walk each way.convenient to metro. Excellent breakfast. Nice room and view on 18th floor for 3 night stay. See photo.
My only comment is that this 5-star hotel does not have a hot spring bath, charges 3,300 Yen (~25 usd) to use gym and sauna, and charges to use indoor swimming pool. Similarly, a nearby 3-star hotel includes these amenities and is free no charge."
"Location wise is good. Near to subway and around 10 mins walk to the major shopping district. 4 convenient stores within 3 mins walk. Also got free car park which is nice. But the room look outdated. Sofa is way too low. The bathtub is damaged (with masking tape). So scare to use.
Also the corridor look very dark (motion sensor) but the light is dark shade. And even though we book garden view, we do not see any garden. Only next building."

Amazing
VVaniksExcellent service, polite and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and amazing views of the city. There are many toiletries in the room and a coffee machine with capsules (it can also make tea). There are two water bottles and shopping bags, which are refreshed every day. You can also check the breakfast crowding on the TV. The room is very comfortable, and the location is great. Additionally, the hotel has its own Japanese bath, free cocktails in the lounge area, and a 7-Eleven in the same building.
LLalagirlThe hotel staffs are very polite. I haven’t pass by one staff who did not greet me. Excellent service.
Excellent location. Supermarket at B2, subway and underground street mall at B1, food court at level 3 and 4, cinema at 5. The hotel lobby at 7, and use a different elevator at 7 for room access. Other non hotel guests cannot reach hotel floors.
Pro: Pola skin care samples and coffee packs at lobby to take for room use. Floor to ceiling big window at room for excellent street view. Considerably big room for Japan standard. Get two fancy bottle water per day.
Con: 4000 Yen breakfast per person is a little expensive, but recommend to buy at least for one day. Great variety and quality food at breakfast.

AAnonymous UserI would like to express my sincere gratitude to Miss Hinako Saito, who has been exceptionally helpful and kind throughout our stay. She resolved our issues promptly and with great patience, making us feel very comfortable.
However, I encountered a significant issue with the hotel room. I fail to understand why the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is transparent. When one person is sleeping, the light from the bathroom disrupts the entire room, making it uncomfortably bright. This situation forced me to use the flashlight on my phone while using the bathroom, which was inconvenient.
As a result, I would rate this hotel 3.5 out of 5 stars. The three stars are for Miss Hinako’s excellent service, and the remaining 0.5 star is for the cleanliness of the room.

GGuest UserOne of the best hotels in Sapporo. Great location by Nakajima-Koen, good cafe, laundry and even a limited room service menu. Staff are also very professional and are ready to help with anything you might need, wifi always works fast and stable and TV has links for netflix, hulu and amazon prime. This is a really special hotel. Every time I stay here something magical happens.

LLee RingoWe just checked in the room and found that the air conditioning had something wrong (the hotel has fixed a warm mode, can't change anything) and actually there was no air (warm or cool) coming out. The staff there advised me to open the window. To me, it was unacceptable as it is a hotel, not a guesthouse. We discussed this issue with Front Office Manager and he agreed to refund the money to me. So, I did not stay there.
Bblr32READ ME IF U WANT A FULL DETAILED REVIEW:
Location: It was good. If you want to save up on transportation cost, the hotel is legit walking distance to many (like the JR sapporo station that has a mall, the clock tower, etc. Theres also a few convenient stores really close by.
Lobby: I came here when it was snowing so prepare for slippery and dirty floors! Theres also only 2 elevators and a lot of tourists come in groups so you might need to line up to use it.
Amenities: Theres only 2 laundry machines so try not to need to use it because they dont have a system for people using it, making it hard to identify whose clothes belong to when its done so the staff just lets it be there, making it hard for others to use it.
The amenities in the room was standard. I do enjoy the remote control bidet and they have a kid’s washing option which was rare.
Some reviews complained about the cleaning seemed to not read the instructions. Please use the ‘please clean’ or ‘do not disturb’ cards when you stay there and put the cards outside your room before 10 am. This information will be given during check in and they’ll will wait for you to finish reading it.
Room: The room can only fit 1 large luggage and at most 2 mid size luggage. It was pretty small if you have a big body frame.
The room wasn’t that clean. There was dried up chilli oil stain on the table that can easily be wiped off. This lowkey made me wonder how they cleaned the room and there i went on a bit of a cleaning spree on most frequently used places before utilising it.
The pillow was too soft that lowkey feels like nothing and the lighting at the vanity was bad for applying make up.
The air condition was bad in my opinion. They shouldve just not put it on heater mode because it was too warm to feel sleep at night. We had to turn off the heater and open the window to sleep.
Bonus:
- they gave us a few coupons for nearby seafood restaurants
- the room has a purifier + humidifier which is good for the cold weather
Overall:
A great hotel to stay in if you’re looking for a budgeted stay! Great location and comfortable accommodation.
BBenLarge hotel. Basic room, but not a bad size for Japan. Room cleaning every 4th day, but fresh towels daily. Our room was uncomfortably warm (in February with snow falling outside), even with the heater off. We needed assistance from reception every time we wanted to open or close the window as our room had no window handle? Soundproofing wasn't great from both adjoining rooms and the main road outside.
Not bad but have stayed in better in Susukino for a similar rate.

VVergencita RabacThe food was great. Facilities are also great. The location is just around the city so access to shopping centers and tourists spots are easy. No need to spend for transport because all you need for sightseeing and shopping is just by walk.

MMing Ying YLoved the location, can be accessed directly from JR station without having to go out into the snow. Also surrounded by lots of eateries & 3 malls. Room is a tad bit small but otherwise clean and has all necessary amenities. Great for a short stay while we transit
EEpianThe hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The room features traditional Japanese-style interiors but feels quite dated, including the furniture. On the positive side, the buffet for both dinner and breakfast offers a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. A standout feature is the free shuttle service from Sapporo Station, which adds convenience for travelers. Overall, it’s a practical choice for its location and amenities, though the rooms could use some updates.
