Lake Roy Beach Inn - Winter Haven ★★

Legoland Florida Resort ★★★★

"We stayed on the pirate side of the hotel. Cute theme and plenty of places to explore legos. Property was easy walk to park (literally just outside the gates) . One star off because, after unpacking, had to change rooms because the main TV would not turn on it could not be fixed which of course we did not notice until after being at the park and it was time to put our toddler to bed. Luckily we were able to get another room- it was just very inconvenient. We felt like for the price that all of the amenities in the room should have been checked to ensure that they were in working order before check in. Also the breakfast ( which we got as a bundle with our tickets) was not hot. The breakfast potatoes were the only item that was truly hot. The gravy was at least warm but nothing else would have passed a health inspection for appropriate serving temperature. Service was great."

Rodeway Inn & Suites Winter Haven Chain of Lakes ★★

"The Front Desk there is awful. They are very rude. You asked for their name. They will not tell you you asked to talk to management and they won't let you talk to management. They said they don't have no number for management and they won't even give me their real name. They said they don't have to, and I paid the dog fee every day my dog got some dirt on her feet and got on the bed and there was like paw prints on it but when they came to change the bed lines, they kept my deposit because they said they have to send those out to get them cleaned. It was just dirt. I could've got it out but they made a big deal about it and they kept my deposit of $150 because of that"
