"The hotel is directly opposite the Beijing Children's Hospital, and the surrounding area is really pleasant. Ritan Park is also nearby, and I noticed many foreigners staying here – it felt like there were more foreigners than Chinese guests! **Location and Transportation:** It's a bit far from the subway, more than a kilometer from Jianguomen station, but you can easily bike there. However, it's not far from Wangfujing or Guomao, so taking a taxi is more convenient. **Room Facilities:** The rooms are loft-style. We stayed in a deluxe room and a comfort room on separate nights. The deluxe room was larger, but otherwise, there wasn't much difference. The rooms were very clean. For two women and a child, the king-size bed was spacious enough even sleeping horizontally. **Cleanliness:** The bathroom was very clean, which I was very happy about. **Swimming Pool:** The swimming pool and gym are on the top floor, which is very convenient. The sunroof opens on good weather days. **Value for Money:** Hotels in Beijing during the May Day holiday are usually very expensive. The day before, my family booked a very ordinary hotel near Wangfujing for 780 RMB. So, I booked this place for the next day. Compared to its usual price, the increase wasn't too significant, so overall, it offered pretty good value for money."

"This is a wondeful little guesthouse. We arrived late and in the middle of a thunderstorm and the owner was there waiting for us. Then the location next to the wall is perfect. the view of the wall from the bedroom studie is stunning and It's about a 5 minute walk to the entrance gate. We went early and were able to avoid the crowds. The room was nice and clean and beds were super comfy! I would recommend staying here if you want to visit the wall"

Xishan Hot Spring Hotel is located in the northwest of Haidian. The hot spring water comes from the rich mineral hot springs 3,000 meters below the Xishan Mountains. It is a leisure resort that packages hot springs, accommodation, dining, health care and entertainment together to bring everyone a perfect holiday experience with the concept of "happiness, fashion and health".

"The facilities are well-equipped. We visited during the May Day holiday, and it was incredibly crowded, but once the crowd dispersed a bit, it was manageable. The rooms are quite old but clean enough. Dinner was really good! Delicious, they had durian, crayfish, and crab, but there were just too many people. The hygiene overall was good, both in the rooms and at the hot spring. The environment is spacious, and there's a lot of room to explore, which is great. The hot spring staff were okay, pretty good actually. However, I booked a room but wasn't assigned a butler, and no one introduced the activities, which wasn't a great experience. Plus, I couldn't get through to the front desk when I had an issue. Overall, the room facilities are old, and the walls are peeling. And with the lack of service staff, I probably won't book a room here again. The Xishan Hot Spring itself is really good! I'll definitely come back for that!"

"The location is super easy to find, and there's parking right on the street. The place itself is clean, tidy, and has a really cozy vibe that both my child and I absolutely loved. We chose a private courtyard room, which came with a private hot spring – it was incredibly comfortable, especially the two large beds, perfect for families. You can really tell the owner put a lot of thought into the whole establishment; the environment is just fantastic. The service was incredibly attentive, and the afternoon tea and breakfast were exquisite. We'll definitely be back!"

"The hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. The location is convenient as it's about 10 min from the bus shuttle that takes you straight to the Balding Great wall entrance. The hotel has a cosy restaurant that serves a Chinese cuisine breakfast. We enjoyed the Korean fried chicken, pork dumplings and Pork belly skewers. We stayed in the room that has a huge bathtub it was so refreshing but not safe. My husband actually slipped inside the bath as it has been tiled with normal tiles not non-slip tiles. So use with caution. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again. Especially in the rooms with the Private courtyard and bathtub."

"I absolutely loved this guesthouse! The location is fantastic, just a five-minute drive from Huabei International Ski Resort. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the bedding was so soft and pleasant on the skin. The host was incredibly welcoming; not only did they greet us personally, but they also helped us with our luggage, which was really thoughtful. The cleanliness was excellent too, not a speck of dust anywhere. I was sad to leave when checking out. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I've already recommended it to my friends!"

"This stay was beyond my expectations! I have to give it a lot of praise! First, the service. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout, responsive to every request and very considerate, making it feel incredibly comfortable. Next, the environment. The views are truly unique, especially the close-up view of the Great Wall. The majestic spectacle from a high vantage point is truly breathtaking! Every photo is a masterpiece! The cleanliness was impeccable. The room and common areas were spotlessly clean, and every detail was meticulously thought out, making for a truly reassuring stay. The amenities are also comprehensive, with nearly every daily necessity readily available. It's easy to use and worry-free. In short, whether you're looking to relax or specifically visit the Great Wall, this is a perfect place. I highly recommend it!"

"After comparing several hotels in the same price range, I chose Zǐlóng Gardens. I'd also looked at their usual rates, and it seemed a bit pricier then, but booking it in advance for a holiday trip was definitely a steal. **Stay:** For the same price, other places offer rooms under 30 square meters, but Zǐlóng Gardens gives you 50 square meters. It's nestled in a hutong, offering a quiet escape in the midst of the bustling city. It's actually the former residence of Prince Taò, who was an advisor to the People's Liberation Army's equestrian administration. We opted for the family room, which even had a small balcony with a view. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, so washing up wasn't cramped at all. **Food:** The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks (mineral water, Coke, Sprite, beer), and they'd replenish it anytime. Although the restaurant isn't huge, the food is incredibly fresh, with different dishes every day. I initially thought breakfast wasn't included, but it turned out to be free! From 11 AM to 11 PM, they offer afternoon tea with chef-prepared dishes like wontons and Zhajiangmian, all completely free of charge. You can even take fruit back to your room. The 'Sìyuè Hétún' restaurant on the first floor also had good prices and flavors; no reservations needed for their fugu or roast duck. **Getting Around:** It's very close to Nanluoguxiang, the National Art Museum of China, Wangfujing, and Longfu Temple. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk, but I mostly used taxis, which made getting around super convenient. **Service:** The hotel staff's service was impeccable. Finally, although check-out was officially at 12 PM, they were fine with us leaving at 2 PM, and even gave us a farewell gift. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Our 5-day, 4-night trip during Chinese New Year was a fantastic family experience and definitely enhanced our vacation."

"The hotel is brand new with excellent facilities. Our room had a large bed, and the sofa converted into another double bed, so it easily accommodated four people. The room itself was very spacious and even included a decent-sized private hot tub, which is great if you prefer not to use the public springs. There's also a walk-in closet and a separate wet and dry bathroom. The public hot springs are spread across two levels: the first floor and the top floor. The first floor has some small swimming pools and kids' pools, though the outdoor pool there was closed due to the cold weather. The top floor features over a dozen herbal hot springs, including some for children, and an outdoor infinity pool – it’s fantastic to soak in during winter. I noticed four restaurants at the hotel: a large cafe near the entrance offering light meals, a noodle house inside the hotel that's quite good value, and the hotel's main restaurant, where you can order à la carte or enjoy a buffet on Saturday/Sunday evenings. The buffet was 228 RMB per person when we visited, with a good variety of seafood, stir-fries, and Western dishes, making it decent value for money. Breakfast, included in the room rate, also had a wide selection. There's also a Chaoshan beef hotpot restaurant. Parking was convenient. Since it's a new hotel, the cleanliness was impeccable. The surroundings are lovely, with a river nearby and mountains behind the hotel that have hiking trails. Outdoors, there's a mini-bike practice area, a basketball court, and a three-story 'Trendy Play' complex with a bouncy castle, claw machines, other amusement rides, computers, and some tech-based entertainment. However, these attractions require purchasing a package and aren't free. The front desk staff and other employees were all very polite and helpful. Special shoutout to Xiao Xuan at the front desk, who resolved many of our issues quickly and efficiently. Complimentary tea is available in most buildings. The service was excellent; we stayed in Building 6, and we could check out directly from our building without needing to go to the main lobby."
