Not much in the hotel, it was nice enough. 15/20 minute walk to the station. Not much around.

We were soles tired right off the plane after figuring out that I had no license and could not get my rental car :( I took it well pouted and walked away. We took the Tram to St Andrew's Square. We needed to be in The border lands in Peebles. We stopped at the Edinburgh Grand. The men at the desk couldn't have been nicer! They called a taxi service not once but twice! They held our bags and said that their was a bar upstairs we could wait at with a wonderful and sweet cocktail waitress and relax. They came and got us when he arrived. Carried our bags to the taxi for us. We will tell this story many times in the future and we will thing of them all fondly.

Stayed here for the close proximity to the airport (10 min walk) and my work location in the Gogarburn area, and though I was only there for 12 hours it was flawless from start to finish. A big thank you to Chelsea Rose and Klaudia on the front desk team who took care of my pre-arrival queries and were kind enough to upgrade me to one of their refurbished Queen Deluxe rooms. Check-in / Check-out was swift. The room itself was a very good size, comfortable bed, large wall mounted TV, was clean and bright. It came with a generous size fridge and a nespresso coffee machine. Breakfast was good, and some colleagues who ordered room service at dinner time gave the food top marks, whilst others who had stayed longer also spoke highly of the health club facilites. Can’t wait to stay here again on my next trip!

We stayed out of Edinburgh as much cheaper than in Edinburgh on a busy weekend - went to watch Harry Styles at Murrayfield! The first night wasn’t great as our room was noisy as the window wouldn’t close and at breakfast lots of items were not topped up. However, the staff moved us the next day and breakfast was much better stocked the next 2 mornings. The staff were so friendly and helpful - particularly Clare and Kayleigh. It was very easy and cheap to get the train into Edinburgh

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We had a lovely big room, very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet place, very convenient as it is a walking distance from the train station, shops, busses and tram just round the corner and not far from the city centre, The only drawback for us was that we had to go out for breakfast as this hotel has 6 houses, all have their own doors therefore one has to go out to the first house for breakfast and each house has few steps so going up and down was not very good for us . There are no lifts although we had a downstairs room. We would have preferred if they have a restaurant . The breakfast room is a bit small and can be very crowded at times,

third visit to this hotel rooms are to a very high spec and very modern and spotless clean hotel in centre of town with plenty to do on the high street and 50 yards from a lovely park food in hotel is excellent and plenty of it staff were so nice receptionist /night porter/waitress and even the cleaner said hope you have a lovely day will be back 10 out of 10 David ayrshire
