"Stayed here for 2 nights, but in two different rooms, so I got to experience both. Overall, the hotel has a great view and a generally comfortable stay. It is a bit far from most main attractions, although it is relatively close to the railway station. There is a nearby bus station (Line 6), but getting to the Ancient Town and other popular areas is still quite far, so using Didi is often the easier option. The lobby also provides tea, coffee, and water, which is a nice touch. My first room was on the 2nd floor and felt very modern and new. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-designed — I really liked this room. My second room was on the 5th floor, and there is no lift in the building, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be quite tiring. The staff kindly helped me, which I really appreciated, especially since it was quite a lot of effort. This room had a nice view, but it felt a bit older compared to the first one, especially the bathroom. If I had to choose, I personally preferred the first room for its newer feel and comfort, but both stays were still pleasant in different ways."

"100% satisfied! This was by far the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel we stayed at during our trip! First off, the location at the foot of Cangshan Mountain is very quiet and close to the ancient city. Secondly, the rooms are fully equipped with smart features, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. Every detail shows the hotel's care and dedication. The cleanliness is excellent, incredibly spotless, and they even pre-set the shower water to a constant 38 degrees. They even subscribed to TV memberships, which really shows their thoughtfulness. What was most heartwarming was the attitude of the staff; from the moment we arrived, everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. We received a welcome fruit platter and freshly baked flower cakes upon check-in. Every day, they'd ask if we'd like a sweet soup before bed. They also chatted with us and gave recommendations for places to visit. There was even some good Pu'er tea in the room. It truly felt like coming home! I also loved the two Shiba Inus! I genuinely recommend this place! From now on, whenever I'm in Dali, I'll only stay here!"

"I've been to Dali many times, and each time I try a different guesthouse. This time, the platform recommended ”Yan Chuanshu Inn” based on my preferences, and I was drawn to it at first sight. It's located in the heart of Dali Old Town, in a relatively new area, and it's very quiet. What I absolutely loved was that the guesthouse has three adorable British Shorthair cats! Maikou is a chubby one who loves to lie on the floor and act cute. Tiechui is a Scottish Fold kitten, very clingy, and has the best personality. Gangdan is a British Blue cat, independent and very wary, lively and mischievous – as expected, you can only pet him when he's in a good mood [lol][lol]. Despite that, I still adore them, haha. My stay here was completely therapeutic because of the cats, and also because of the attentive service from the guesthouse owner. The owner has a great demeanor, and the service was impeccable. She helped me with my luggage and, knowing it was our first time exploring Dali, recommended some delicious and reasonably priced food spots in the Old Town [munch][munch]. Furthermore, the room I booked was really spacious, and the bed was huge – a Stressless brand, super comfortable! The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The cleaning auntie tidied my room daily. The guesthouse courtyard has many flowers and plants, and the rooftop offers beautiful views of Cangshan Mountain ⛰️⛰️. I especially loved going up there in the evening. All in all, the accommodation I chose for this trip was truly wonderful. I think I'll recommend it to my friends next time～[heart][heart]"

"The cats and dogs are absolutely adorable! Mimi, the Siamese cat, is so affectionate and cuddly. Niuniu, the ******* Mastiff, is super lively and cute. I've completely fallen in love with these furry friends. The courtyard setting is very comfortable, and the room facilities are quite smart. My stay was excellent! It's located on a small hill, so if you're walking back from the ancient city, the uphill climb can be a bit tiring. But then you remember all the sweet and adorable 'gas tanks' (a playful nickname for the pets) waiting for you, and it's all worth it!"

"This hotel is great! The room looks exactly like the pictures online. The location is super convenient for getting around. They even rent out electric scooters on-site, and the staff are really helpful with directions. As someone from Malaysia who isn't familiar with the area, renting a scooter and following their explanations and maps was no problem at all 😂. They also offer a shuttle service to Lijiang, which is really cost-effective and convenient. They pick you up right at the entrance. You can ask the friendly guys at the front desk – it's truly a one-stop service! 👍🙏 💰 Fair price ✅ 💰 Scooter rental, super cheap ✅ Clean and tidy environment ✅"

"Where we stayed is superbly strategic to lots of food streets and Dali highlights. If you book two nights at this hotel, you will get a 1-day free usage of their electric scooter to explore around. We rode to the Longkan Pier at the Erhai Lake, Caicun Wharf, Chang’er Avenue and the Three Pagoda. Dali has created friendly lanes for bicycles and e-bikes, so it is easy to ride around the city. With only less than 48 hours, we managed to cover most of the highlights and tried their local Bai ethnic cuisine. The hotel is quite relaxing with a nicely decorated lobby. The main staff is helpful and friendly too. Recommended to stay here."

"This was an absolutely fantastic stay, hands down the best service I've ever experienced! First off, freshly made breakfast is delivered right to your door every morning, which is amazing. The food isn't just an afterthought; it's delicious and beautifully presented. The minced pork rice noodles are even better than what you'd find at some specialized noodle shops – and as someone from Hunan, I can tell you these noodles are seriously good! Plus, there's complimentary coffee, both hot and iced options, which is a lovely touch. 👍🏻 They offer pick-up and drop-off service to and from the southeast gate of Dali Old Town, which is incredibly thoughtful. We rented a car, and the hotel even has free parking. After we parked or when we needed to get the car, the owner would personally drive us to the parking lot on an electric scooter – so awesome! 👍🏻 There are also many other small details, like how the owner is always super enthusiastic and smiling, ready to answer any travel questions and help you avoid pitfalls. The in-room projector even has Tencent VIP membership (so thoughtful!), and there's a mini-fridge in the room. The bathroom facilities are also excellent. I'm very satisfied! I'll definitely recommend this place to my parents when they visit."
