Called a day in advance to ask about room preferences – specifically, no rooms at the end of the hall. The executive floor is on a higher level, offering beautiful city views, and the room itself is quite spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows. Turndown service included fruit. My favorite part was the oversized bathtub, perfect for the medicated herbal bath, though the water temperature was a bit low and cooled down in about 10 minutes. Afternoon tea was a little simple, and the evening happy hour didn't have many dishes, but it was enough. Breakfast was quite rich, with the best dishes being the cold mixed eggplant, cold mixed cabbage, pickled radish, and scallion oil noodles. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk to the subway station, and downstairs there's the newly opened, massive mall, Luyue Tiandi. My only suggestion would be to make the bathwater hotter!

This hotel stay was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all expectations! Right upon arrival, staff members proactively helped open car doors and carry luggage, greeting us with such warm smiles that instantly melted away the fatigue from our journey. The lobby was tastefully designed with soft, glare-free lighting, and the sofas in the waiting area were incredibly comfortable. Check-in at the front desk was super efficient, and the staff thoughtfully introduced the hotel's facilities and local attractions, even clearly recommending which local breakfast spots are frequented by residents.
The room itself was an even bigger surprise! The moment I stepped in, I felt it was absolutely 'worth it' – the floors were polished to a shine, and the bedding had a subtle, fresh scent, completely free of any strange odors. The view from the window was expansive; pulling back the curtains revealed a lively street scene. In the evenings, with the windows closed, it was incredibly quiet, allowing for a truly peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom vanity was spotless, and the mirror was completely free of water marks. Hot water came quickly and consistently, and even the bath towels were warm, apparently pre-warmed, which was a fantastic touch!
And the service? Simply impeccable. In the morning at the restaurant, a staff member saw me juggling too many plates and proactively came over to help carry them to my table. In the afternoon, when I asked to borrow a power bank, the front desk staff handed one over without hesitation, and it was even fully charged. It was raining a bit during check-out, and they proactively offered me an umbrella, saying, 'Just remember to return it next time you visit.' This relaxed yet incredibly thoughtful attitude made me feel more comfortable than at many larger, more impersonal hotels.
Breakfast also deserves a special mention. While the variety wasn't mind-blowing, every single item was exquisite. The freshly ground soy milk was rich and not overly sweet, the steamed dim sum had tender wrappers and generous fillings, and even the side dishes were meticulously arranged.
This hotel is a hidden gem, offering excellent value for money. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They arranged a room for me on the first floor, which turned out to be surprisingly spacious. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable, and the service was prompt and responsive. The room was spotlessly clean! The breakfast was also delicious and satisfying. It's a perfect choice whether you're traveling for business or leisure. Thumbs up! 👍🏻

Good service and close to the Zhangjiang Science Hall. But nothing else much around the location ( restaurants/ shops), hotel restaurant only serves breakfast. Have to order delivery or take taxi to somewhere further. Minimum room facility as well, no iron board/ conditioner/ location. Overall good value, but only for work reason.

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a special request for water, and they promptly brought up many extra bottles. The breakfast was also very varied and plentiful. Even the housekeeping staff were always smiling and friendly. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

An excellent hotel to stay in for a romantic getaway. The hotel is gorgeous and laid up in the Japanese style. The room is particularly big with a separate shower area and an onsen area. The tub is big enough to fit two people comfortably, and fills up quite quick, full of hot water in 20 minutes. The separate shower area is also very comfortable and features a Japanese style showering layout with seating for you to sit and wash.
The tatami beds were cosy, although a little bit flat for me personally. The room also features a master light of switch so that you don’t have to get up to turn off all the lights. The shower and toilet areas are also separate with an automatic toilet bidet.
If you are ordering delivery food, they would send the food directly to your room through a robot, which we thought was very cool. The in room television also had access to the Internet so we were able to stream Chinese movies.
I would like to thank a particular front desk staff (but i dont know her name) for helping me with finding my phone which I had left in my ride share car, as well as for being there for us to check out very early at 4 am. Thank you so much for your patience! Your service really helped make our stay great!

Very nice place, quiet at night. Location a bit far from cbd, but that is the point for getting a quiet place. Amenities are excellent, there are self service laundry on level 4, 6, 8 and 10th. There is a small gym enough for some simple work out. There are also some reading room, open discussion area, pantry, big dining table at level 2. Very unique.
There are quite some eateris nearby and there is a small cafe just at the entrance.
Overall, very good stay and will come again.

JjessFirst, upon checking in, the front desk lady told me, 'You didn't book breakfast. If you add breakfast, I can upgrade your room.' (The upgraded room was still small, but at least it had a window.) So, I thought, 'Alright, I'll buy breakfast for two then.'
Next, I realized that the room type I booked a week in advance with a voucher was actually more expensive than the price for the same room type when I checked on the day itself. Since I couldn't cancel the voucher booking myself on the platform, I asked the front desk lady. She replied in a very businesslike tone, 'Differences in price cannot be refunded if booked through Ctrip; they can only be refunded if booked through the hotel's official website.' She offered no solution to my problem, so I had no choice but to accept it.
Finally, we wanted to take the hotel's free shuttle to Yu Garden, but the driver said the hotel was very close to Yu Garden and told us to walk. Seriously! We're unfamiliar with the area and just wanted a convenient ride, but we couldn't even get that. So, I have to ask, what's the point of the hotel shuttle even having a stop for this attraction? I originally chose this hotel because I saw they offered a free shuttle service.
Overall, I'm quite dissatisfied.
GGuest UserA place worth its price. I choose this hotel mainly due to its price which wasn’t too expensive and met my needs (a rather bigger room). It was perfect due to the fact that I had a lot of luggage and the room was spacious enough. The location is also very nice, it is near various commercial areas and around 10/12 minutes walk from the green line (line 2), which I took to go to the oriental pearl tower. Something that surprised me was the delivery robot for takeaways, which was something I never saw in other hotels during my stay in China😂. Overall, for its price, the size of the room and the great location, I would greatly recommend this hotel👍🏻.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent; they answered all our questions and proactively helped with our luggage to the room. The room was very clean and had a huge TV, which my child absolutely loved! It was also very quiet. The restaurant's breakfast was quite substantial with a good selection of meats, eggs, and dairy, starting as early as 5:30 AM, which is great for early risers. The shuttle service to and from Disneyland, the metro, and the airport was very convenient. They even have a thoughtful butler service who remembered to turn on the AC and deliver water in advance. I encountered many international guests, and their hosting capabilities were top-notch. The lobby also has massage chairs—after a long day of playing, a massage there is simply fantastic! There's also a swimming pool downstairs, which would make the summer experience even better.
AAnonymous UserThe environment is great, and it's close to the subway station. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. When I checked out, I accidentally left my spare phone behind. The hotel staff promptly called me and mailed it back, incredibly well-packaged with multiple layers. Huge thanks and praise to the staff! 👍🏻
AAichimiantiaodemiaomiaoFacilities: Overall pretty good, considering it's not a new hotel. So, naturally, the facilities aren't as smart or modern as newly opened hotels, but they're still great, and the bedding is comfortable. The airport transfer and Disney shuttle services are incredibly convenient. It's close to Disney and offers excellent value for money.
Cleanliness: I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews, as I'd had a bad experience with a highly-rated B&B before, which was even more expensive. So, I decided to trust a major hotel chain. And it turns out I was right! The overall cleanliness is good; I did a thorough check of the room, and there was no dust or stains on the bedding. I felt very comfortable staying here with my child.
Environment: Upscale. After all, it's a premium Huazhu hotel. You can really trust the brand's positioning. Even if it weren't perfect, it would still be better than a small hotel. The floor-to-ceiling windows were lovely to look at and boosted my mood. The breakfast buffet was quite rich, with both Chinese and Western options. The noodle soup was good, and there's supper available after returning from Disney. Although it's just simple rice noodles, dumplings, and congee, it's incredibly comforting to have food available late at night after a tiring day.
Service: The front desk staff who checked me in were very enthusiastic and polite throughout. When I called for something to be delivered, it was brought to my room immediately.
If I come to Disney again, this will definitely be my first choice. My baby loved it.
LLuodemakehubilieI truly experienced the quality and service of a high-end hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and the overall design is subtly luxurious and stylish. The room was clean and tidy, well-laid out, and fully equipped with amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. The staff provided meticulous service; they were warm and attentive without being overbearing, which made for a very comfortable stay. It's suitable for both business travel and vacations; the experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend it. The dedicated concierge service from Katrina and Emily was also excellent.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! One gate of the complex opens onto the bustling Huaihai Middle Road, while the other leads to the charming and vintage Nanchang Road. The room's interior also has a very retro feel, full of old Shanghai character. Nanchang Road itself is lined with many stylish cafes and small bars. The service team is very attentive; they sent check-in instructions in advance and were available online throughout my stay to provide assistance. They even helped arrange luggage storage. I had to check out early due to a foot injury, and they didn't charge any cancellation fees. The only minor drawback of this room is that the bathroom is in a small courtyard. It might be fine in summer, but it was a bit cold in winter. However, there's a small portable heater in the courtyard that warmed it up considerably, so it wasn't a big issue. I'd love to come back and try a different room type if I get the chance.
GGuest UserLocation was so perfect, wish we found this earlier! Next time would plan to stay here much longer as such a lovely location.
Place was clean, cute and comfortable. Service was 20/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they take such good care of you and are available instantly if needed.
We even choose to book their shuttle service as it was so convenient/easy and organised. Driver was lovely.
Thank you to the incredible team for making our stay so memorable and comfortable. If you want to enjoy the local markets, this is the place to stay. I wish I took more photos!!!
Again, 5/5 thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
GGuest UserWe had a really pleasant stay at Waiting Century Hotel. We’re a group of 4 persons and booked a duplex room for our stay in Shanghai.
Good location, especially for those who travel to other cities like Wuxi, Suzhou, even Hangzhou. It’s a walking distance to Shanghai Railway Station and metro. Around the hotel, there are convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart) and coffee shops (Luckin Coffee, Manner Coffee) and other local restaurants.
The hotel also provides free coffee, ice, and some candy at the lobby. The hotel staff are also nice.
One downside though. The 2nd floor of the duplex room is a bit hot. You need to open the window and let the air outside into your room.
Overall, a really good place to stay.
GGuest UserIt's free! They provide mineral water and all toiletries are single-use, which is great. There's also coffee available 24/7. The location is super convenient; there's a subway station just a few hundred meters downstairs. Plus, the room was very clean with no strange odors. I had a very comfortable stay.
