The overall environment is pretty good, and it's quite close to the subway station. It's a bit of a walk uphill every time, which can be tiring, but the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. There's a large Nanshan Park nearby, perfect for taking the baby for a hike. Eating out is convenient with plenty of options close to the subway, and the overall views are nice. There are also some good cafes where you can enjoy a drink or two. What I found strange was that we booked a twin room on the 19th or 23rd floor which had a smart toilet, but when we switched to a king room on the 19th floor, the smart toilet was gone – even though the king room was more expensive than the twin room.

Loved it here! I’d been recently staying at a serviced apartment nearby while working on a project and decided to try this spot out as something different. While the room I rented was smaller, it was plenty of space to work from and the peaceful vibe couldn’t be beat. The staff is super friendly, and the food at the restaurant is outstanding! The location is a short walk to the busy Sea World area, which has more than enough tasty places to eat, and hang out. The Nanshan Mountain park hike nearby was so lovely, and in the other direction toward the bay, is an incredible seaside walk and cultural center. Looked into joining a gym but that Nanshan mountain park has enough outdoor workout equipment that you don’t even need one. Plus, the hike is a good workout alone. Love this place. I’ve been coming to Shenzhen for years and I’ve always stayed near the factroy we work with. No longer! 😄 Nanshan is the spot and this lovely hotel is such a good option. Also, check out the Shenzhen Bay Culture Plaza and design museum with its distinctive AirPod-looking buildings while you’re there. It’s just a short subway or DiDi ride away.  I need to come back to the area in a week or so, and I’ve already booked again.

The location is fantastic, right across from Sea World, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and activities. Yet, it's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area. The room is very spacious and comes with a full set of appliances: a fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and a washing machine with a dryer. Highly recommend! They even mailed back my forgotten headphones!

Fantastic! A really pleasant stay. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and the hotel itself is stylish and well-designed. The sea-view room I booked offered incredibly beautiful scenery at sunrise – I almost didn't want to leave! My only minor suggestion for improvement would be for the lobby bar to be cleaned more promptly. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience and will definitely be back 😄😄

The in-room amenities were very satisfying. The only slight inconvenience was the lack of parking due to the hotel's location, so we had to park in the building across the street. Everything else was perfect, especially its proximity to Sea World, which made it very convenient for traveling with elderly parents and children. There was a bit of noise at night from the bars across the street, but it didn't last too late.

I brought my mom to Shenzhen for a trip, and after a long search, we chose this hotel. The location is superb; it's just a short walk from Taiziwan Metro Station (make sure to take Exit A, or you'll be climbing stairs endlessly!). It's incredibly quiet, which was perfect for my mom and me, as we're both light sleepers. We had a wonderfully comfortable night's rest here. The coastline is right next door, as is the K11 mall, great for a leisurely stroll after dinner. You need to go up to the 4th floor, then the 8th floor to reach the hotel. The front desk service was excellent; they upgraded us to a sea-view room, so we could watch the sunrise right from our bed, lol. Breakfast was also good, with plenty of choices that changed daily, so you wouldn't get tired of it even if you stayed for several days. Enjoying breakfast while looking out at the sea was a real treat.

GGuest UserI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations. The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy. The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building. For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet. Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers. There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests. The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated. The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great. For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

PPcomI stayed for two nights this time, and overall, it was quite good! The location is excellent, right across from Shuiwei 9th Street, so if you want a late-night snack, you just cross the road to the food street. The hotel's decor is modern and functional! There's underground parking, but it's very narrow; larger cars, like a BMW 7 Series, probably wouldn't fit. The room facilities are great and very practical, thumbs up! I look forward to staying again next time.

MMAOBEA stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

EErenxiangaozhuangStepping into the hotel, I was immediately struck by the uniquely designed lobby with its distinctive industrial steel aesthetic. The open-plan front desk created a welcoming atmosphere, instantly bridging the gap between the hotel and its guests. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, completing my check-in in just a few minutes. To access the upper floors, you need to use your key card in the elevator, which I think is a great way to ensure guest privacy. My room was comfortably and cozily furnished, and all the drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. My only minor critique is that there was only a small side table in the room, but this is a small detail that doesn't detract from the overall experience. The smart toilet in the bathroom provided a very comfortable experience. The public areas are located on the 14th floor, featuring arcade games, a gym, and laundry facilities, all available 24/7 for guests to enjoy in their leisure time. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, though unfortunately, I was too groggy in the morning to remember to take photos. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I hope to have the opportunity to return again.

GGuest UserInterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort | Ocean Views + Professional Photography – A Heavenly Getaway ✨ Coming to Shenzhen for the sea, the InterContinental Dameisha Kingkey truly didn't disappoint! First-class ocean views, a private beach, and an infinity pool that's perfect for photos. The service was attentive and professional, making the entire experience fantastic. The room's balcony directly faces the ocean, allowing you to watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. You can take in the mountain and sea views without even leaving your room. The hotel's infinity pool seamlessly blends with the ocean, creating a very Instagrammable vibe. The spiral staircase and overwater walkway are natural photo spots, and every shot looks high-end and stunning. The biggest surprise was the professional photoshoot experience. The photographer was professional and patient, finding the best angles and guiding poses. They captured all the romance of the ocean, pool, and beach. The unedited photos looked amazing, so I didn't have to worry about finding angles myself. The private beach was clean and uncrowded, and the food was delicious. The staff were warm and thoughtful, making my stay comfortable from check-in to check-out. Whether it's a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family vacation, this place is perfect. You can enjoy the ocean views and take beautiful photos, leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Definitely my top choice for a seaside holiday in Shenzhen! GGuest UserThe location is great. When you go out, you will easily be greeted with a lot of food and restaurant options. Train is also accessible. The front door is located infront of the street with cars so when you use didi, you can directly be dropped off into the front door. When we first came, we were confused cause the elevator can’t go up to 14th floor. Apparently, there are 3 elevators in the first floor but only 2 on the left can be used to go up to 14th floor. The right elevator wont open at the 14th floor because it is where the reception of the hotel is placed. When we went, we were asked if we are okay with one computer only. As someone who wasn’t planning to use the PC, I said it’s okay. However, when we went to the room, having 1 computer also meant we got the smaller room cut. I was so frustrated cause I read all reviews of a lot of hotels and really searched for a big cut room because we have big luggages and we were there for Christmas. I pipped on a room that was vacant when we checked in and it was a lot bigger than our room (same room type, just no pole and have 2 PCs) Mostly because our room also has this huge building pole that consumed a lot of space also. The reception was nice and friendly though. She helped us carry our bags. However, the room itself was clean but you can smell the particles/dust of smoke that the previous user left. It isn’t direct smoke smell but as someone who is very allergic to smoke, our nose can pick up the particles itself like the dust that came from the cigar specially in the computer chair. So it didn’t smell like cigar but the particles left made us allergic and sneezing for the entire stay. I told the reception the next day and they cleaned and used a device to remove smoke in the room. I really appreciated this since it lessen out sneezing throughout the night. However, the smoke smell was evident when you go out of the room. Most probably because other guests are smoking outside or at the reception itself. Kind of sad because it says in the listing that this property was a non-smoking room. Which if they said that someone is able to smoke, I wouldn’t even consider the property in the first place. Contrary to other reviews, I saw a robot in the basement that was able to deliver food by itself. I’m not sure if it can go up to the hotel because we didn’t try but the robot was functioning and was able to deliver food in other floors. Overall, the stay was great. Amenities were there such as shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers, bathrobe and others. Just frustrated because we got a smaller room cut (the image looks big because of mirrors) and smells like cigar even though I also noted in my booking that I have a very bad allergy towards cigarette. Oh, and the other reviews were right, if you are sensitive to noise, you need to double think before booking because the cars and the street noise can really be heard in the room. For someone who is not sensitive to noise that much, it wasn’t a concern for me. The pillows and bed was great and comfortable :) There’s also a refrigerator in the room.
