This is my honest review as a picky person. I always request for clean room as i have allergic.
My first time stay in this hotel (while i hv try other hotel 81 but sucks). I have a doubt at first but woww!
Cleanliness: no need to worry! 8,5/10 (even 5 star hotel also lack sometimes)
Location: yes it’s geylang, but what to worry? Go out to street can see bus stop already. Near with aljunied mrt, but if u lazy to walk just take bus easy! U want find food, it’s geylang, just stroll around.
Service: what to expect? Bruh i think excellent service is no need la, again it’s not 4-5 star hotel. But i can say the service during check in is perfect. And you can store ur luggage there.
Room facilities: u got towel, toothbrush, the sampoo soap is in one container, so if u are picky like me just bring ur own. There’s no hair dryer ok.. bring urself.

An amazing budget stay in a really well located, comfortable hostel.
The pods were lovely, private and well sized. Air con in the rooms (which could then be fanned into the pod) was very much appreciated. Also multiple charging points with both plug and usb ends is a huge bonus.
Loved the lighting on the pods, reading light, ***** light and mirror lights (which had different colour settings - loved this!).
Showers and toilets are plentiful, clean, and easy to use.
Kitchen is basic but useable. Breakfast is simple but toast/bread and spreads was very welcome.
Staff were lovely and so helpful. Easy to book in and easy to book out.

The room is bright, the lobby has a water dispenser, and it is near mountbatten mrt n fast food. Check in is fast and nice to have early check in at 1:30pm. Hot water is on fast and runs stable, also nice to have hot water for sink tap. However, the bathroom smells bad, the shower head is postioned in a weird angle, the sound proofing is bad, the air con feels not clean, and the blanket is damp and uncomfortable.

We arrived about an hour early, and they accommodated us right away for check-in, which was a great start. The staff were all very courteous, and the front desk guy was especially helpful—he even recommended nearby food spots and explained the price ranges around the area.
The room was clean and just the right size for two people. The water heater worked consistently, and the water pressure was surprisingly good. Bus stops are also conveniently close to the hotel, making it easy to get around.
Overall, we were really satisfied with our stay and would consider coming back.

The air conditioning in the room was excellent, and the water temperature and pressure were great. I overslept in the morning, and Ainee and Korin were very thoughtful, allowing me to check out an hour later. They spoke entirely in Chinese, making me feel as comfortable and at ease as if I were back home.

The room was clean and comfortable for a night stay . With the shared toilet availability. However the toilet cleanliness is not excellent, maybe because really a lot of occupancy that’s why the cleaner not able to clean the bathroom immediately or after use by the guest

Our room was upgraded, and we even had a mini photo-op session with the staff in their lovely Christmas decorations at the lobby. We were also able to register and received a free attraction in Sentosa.
The only thing I didn’t like was the bathtub. The water wouldn’t fill up because the cover wasn’t properly sealed, so I ended up wasting the bath bombs I bought. 😔
Also, the cups were not washed at all! I saw a lipstick stain on one of them when I was about to drink coffee. 🥵
Anyway, the view was nice and kind of relaxing.

Opened in 1971, this hotel holds significant historical value as it's the very first property in the entire Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts group. Thanks to excellent upkeep, it doesn't feel old at all. It features three wings in total: Tower, Valley, and Garden. I stayed in the Tower Wing this time. The room was quite spacious, though its irregular shape took a little getting used to. The hotel breakfast was a bit pricey, so I skipped it, but I did enjoy the pool and Health Club twice during my stay.
The pool is an impressive 2.5 meters deep, which is quite rare for a hotel. The Health Club is fantastic, offering a sauna, steam room, and a hydrotherapy pool.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was average, a bit small and dated, with a really poor view. Honestly, it felt worse than a typical Hanting Hotel back home. The service was also just okay. I saw online that they offered Chinese-speaking service, but when I checked in, the front desk attendant, who was clearly Chinese, specifically said she didn't speak Chinese. I've stayed at Conrads in China before and had a great experience, so this was a huge disappointment in comparison. I definitely won't be staying here again.

The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.

WwilliamguanThe location is superb, right in the heart of Orchard Road, opposite Ngee Ann City, making it incredibly convenient for shopping on both sides. It's also very close to the MRT station. To get to the hotel rooms, you first need to go to the 4th floor and then take another elevator. This trip, I stayed in a standard twin room. I didn't get a room with an Orchard Road view, but the room itself was quite spacious – more than enough room to fully open two large suitcases. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but the space was decent. However, the shower area has no door, so it felt like if you showered for too long, water would easily spill into other parts of the bathroom.

The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very polite and enthusiastic. The room is on the smaller side, but clean, and probably best suited for one person. For two people, you'd likely struggle to open your suitcases. The downside is that there's a restaurant on the first floor, and the corridor on the second floor gets quite smoky during dinner time.

My only 2 gripes : no smoking room that's enjoyable to be in, and that their coffee is average.
I'll definitely give this a 5 star rating for peace, comfort and joy at a decent price.

First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
