Great Stay Overall — Would Come Again We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will likely stay here again in the future. Pros: 1. Excellent location right next to the Chong Nonsi BTS station — super convenient for getting around the city. 2. Rooftop pool on the 10th floor with a stunning view of the station and the Mahanakhon Tower. 3. Fantastic buffet breakfast — especially loved the ice cream selection! 4. Reasonably priced for the quality and location. Cons: The only real downside was the room view. We booked a room “with a view” on the 7th floor, but unfortunately, the view was mostly blocked. The main windows faced a wall with air conditioning units, and the view of the skyline and BTS station was only visible through two narrow side windows. This seems to be a common issue with many rooms, as the side of the hotel facing the view is occupied by shared spaces like the buffet area and the pool. On the bright side, the view from the dining area is amazing. Only the 8th and 9th floors have rooms with truly open views, but no upgrades were available during our stay.

Great service, comfy bed & pool-view breakfast — that sums up my stay. Service was impressively fast and the staff very friendly. The bed was super comfortable, the gym well equipped, and the breakfast tasty with a lovely view of the pool. The large safety box easily fit my bigger laptop. A few things could make it even better: extend breakfast by an hour on weekends, keep items available until the end, speed up air-con start-up, and make sure promised views match reality.

I really loved the 1-bedroom Premier Suite that I booked at Quarter Saladaeng. Sure the room needs some updating and some of the cupboard’s doors and drawers are a bit wonky but the space is magnificent! The kitchen is perfect for days when you just want to eat your own food (although not really necessary in Bangkok! So much cheap and good food everywhere!) Love the gym and the pool too! One of my beat stays in Bangkok!

First, let me say that your hotel’s location is fantastic. Being situated opposite Park Silom, with restaurants and a 24-hour supermarket inside, is incredibly convenient. Additionally, having a 24-hour McDonald’s next door and being just a 5-minute walk from BTS Sala Daeng made my stay even more enjoyable. However, I did encounter an issue during check-out that left me feeling disappointed. The male staff member who handled my check-out (unfortunately, I couldn’t catch his name) was not very friendly. Due to the nature of the items in the room being mostly purchaseable, I was told to wait 10 minutes for a check to ensure nothing was taken. After the 10 minutes had passed, no one updated me on the status, and I had to approach the counter myself to ask if everything was settled. A lady staff member then confirmed that all was in order. I believe it would be much better if the staff took the initiative to inform guests once the check is complete, rather than leaving us waiting without clear communication. While I appreciate the thoroughness of the process, the long wait and lack of proactive communication could be improved for a smoother check-out experience.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and close to tourist attractions. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. A small note: a hair dryer in the room would be a great addition. However, the staff were very kind and promptly provided one when I asked at the front desk. All other necessary amenities were available. The night view from the room was vibrant and lively. The area is super convenient, with a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, and a 24-hour Burger King just steps away. I had a very comfortable sleep, and the free parking was a significant plus. Overall, a fantastic and hassle-free stay!

I love every minute of this trip! It was well-organized, and well-timed. Every itinerary planned wentbon smoothly. Special thanks to the tour guide from Malaysia who speaks English and Chinese. He made funny jokes to lighten up the moods during each stop and filled us with the information about the places we visited. Thank you for the driver for driving us carefully and before you knew it, the trip was over. It was colourful and wonderful beyond words!

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

GGuest UserI booked a river view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the Chao Phraya River's nightscape. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a generous spread. Walking out and turning right, it's about a 5-minute stroll to Asiatique The Riverfront. From 10 AM to 8 PM, there's a boat service every hour from the hotel to the Central Pier. From there, you can take another boat for 10 Baht per person directly to ICONSIAM on the opposite bank. For 600 baht a night including breakfast, the value for money is really good.

GGarreth HuntBangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed... The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them. The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality. Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

While the negative side of the hotel is they will want to collect deposit in advance which I try to avoid cause previously its takes forever to refund! AAnasdanWe stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for four nights. Many reviews mentioned the hotel's remote and inconvenient location. It's true that it's nestled in a quiet alley within a wealthy Sukhumvit neighborhood, so the location itself isn't an issue, and it's suitable for longer stays. It's quite far from tourist attractions, and the alleys in Sukhumvit are winding and don't connect well, which can be troublesome if you're walking. However, I always took taxis, so it was fine. It's a bit of a distance from 7-Eleven. The environment and facilities are definitely up to four-star standards. The security guard was very proactive and responsible. My two points of confusion were: first, upon check-out, the front desk insisted I wait for them to inspect the room before leaving, even though I had already paid a deposit. Second, after the room was cleaned, the hand towels and floor towels were removed, and only one regular towel was left. I don't understand this practice, and in the subsequent days, fewer and fewer towels were left after cleaning.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated almost the end of silom but close to Hindu temple for me to visit and more convenient for me to worship almost everyday when I get bored or when I have Sth in my mind . The breakfast is the same old same old and no matter time fly so is the same but u need to rotating the hot breakfast menu and too minimise a food cost and food waste after service. The room was great ! And thanks for an upgrade with the tup and made me to relax after the humid and hot day or after window shopping. The room is clean and housekeeping are friendly and ask for the service . Staff are friendly for checking in and I feel bad when staff complain and u under the pressure and have to get police involve and I want to step up and help u to rectify a problem but I am off duty as I am on a short vocation so next time and don’t be afraid and stay tough with this people cause they complain too much but always pay less and expect more or not enough ( tell them ) or ask them to go to neighbour hood hotel instead or try to negotiate with them and catering the best u can by not getting affect by room revenue . I hope to see u again in the future maybe in other excutive room with a bath tub and view but u all need to refurbish some room or the best type of room to upgrade or selling to a guest and increase room revenue incremental .
