"Conveniently located very close to the metro station. A taxi ride to the airport costs only 6 euros, and the old town is easily accessible via the metro. Both the room and bathroom are very spacious. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied daily, offering different options. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's a much better option than staying in the old town, where hauling luggage up and down narrow, cobbled streets can be exhausting. Furthermore, the old town's narrow roads often lead to traffic congestion, especially when traveling to and from the airport."

"Absolutely wonderful place and great service! Very cozy hotel with a small garden. The beds are comfortable, spacious bathroom and room is nicely designed and very clean😊 The place also has a small kitchen, guests can make a sandwich or light meal, tea and coffee sachets are refilled daily. The only minus is lack of elevator, however, the staff was very helpful to carry my heavy bags upstairs:) I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lisbon🤗"

"Good value for money, very quiet hotel! Just too small space, especially on the first floor, after turning the sofa into a bed, you can't turn around, everything else is ok. We arrived at 8 am and were allowed to check in, very friendly, but if there are elderly people in the family who can't climb the slope, you have to consider that this hotel is on the slope."

"I love the location of the hotel, it is very central to the tourist attractions and also a lot of nice restaurants around the corner, make it very easy for tourist without transport.
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. My room provide breakfast, while the spread is just good as it’s a boutique hotel which is fine for me.
The room is as shown in the picture, nice, clean, smells good just the lighting a bit dimmed which I guess is normal for European hotel. The room is very good for me just that the hotel don’t provide complimentary bottled water which it should be a basic service by all hotels. Otherwise, everything is good."

GGuest UserThe breakfast was good, friendly staff location was ok. However the reason why I have rated the stay low Is because the AC kept making really loud noise which was intermittent, the worst was in middle of the night and early morning when trying to sleep. I have sent a video to staff at the hotel but haven’t had any update. The staff knew about the issue as we reported it straight away and they gave us comfort that the noise would go after 10 minutes but what they failed to tell us is that it would come back and it did every so often. I have had really bad sleep as a result and I am extremely dissatisfied with this stay. I will leave a review on trip advisor too to reflect my experience.

GGuest UserI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

KkthérèseThe river view room and toilet were small for one person so I’d image a couple would be uncomfortable here. The location is right in the heart of Alfama and a 10-15 minute walk to Chiado/Barrio Alto. I was excited to come and stay at this hotel after reading the reviews about how friendly the staff are, but I did not receive any welcoming or friendly service from any of the staff here. In fact, I felt unwelcome and almost as if I was bothering them when I spoke to them at the reception or asked first a simple request like water for my room. I previously stayed at Montebelo Vista Allegre hotel in Chiado and I would recommend this hotel instead. I wish I stayed there for the entirety of my trip.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

Lleo****The room is very nice and big, the kitchen facilities are complete, and the location is absolutely great. It is not difficult to get the key through self-service check-in, but it is best to write it clearly on the Ctrip page. In addition, Ctrip does not give you the password to enter the gate, so you have to contact the management yourself. I parked my car in a parking space across the street and was fined when I was carrying my luggage upstairs. The reason was that this parking space was only for residents and cost 60 euros.

GGuest UserThe hotel building looks old but it's much better inside. I appreciate the family room which makes my life much easier when travelling with kids. The buffet breakfast was good too. We were starving when we arrived at the hotel, so we rushed into the hotel restaurant for lunch set (EUROS 19 with main course, salad bar and tea/coffee) , rather nice. Overall, value for money hotel, will come back.

Only downside is that it is bit further away from the city center so bit additional travel was required, but for the price and comfort I did not mind it. Only thing I wish they had was washer/dryer.

SSantosThe room was super clean, the location is near a public transportation which I'd good ans bad at the same time due to noise, the stuffs are friendly and helpful.
Therr only negatives are:
There is a TV and AC, but in order to use it you must demand the remotes.
As well as the fact that we either give them a credit card or 50 euros as a warranty instead of a ID, which we found it not so common and were doubting it, ans of course we gave cash.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

PPQ1491The host didn't email the door code to me and there was no one answering the doorbell for the first three times my friends and I tried when it's raining heavily outside that day. I called the owner and they said they would open the door but they didn't and I had to call another time so that they would actually give us the door code to get into the building.
The environment around the stay is very dirty, the road is full with dog poops everyday since morning and it smells very bad.
My belonging is missing in the apartment when I'm very sure that it was still in the bathroom before we left the room. I'm not sure if the cleaner broke it or something else, but I asked them and they say there's nothing they can do about it. I don't mind if they broke it i just want an explanation about why is it missing and they just ignored me, instead they just say they couldn't find the item.
The cleaner cleans the room everyday, the room is clean and is a nice place to sleep overall.
