"The room is clean and tidy and large enough. It can be spread flat to store a 28-inch suitcase. The breakfast is delicious, rich in variety, and the sound insulation effect is also very good. The location is excellent. It's in the core area and you can go to many places on foot nearby. The only drawback is that you can't take a taxi on the road to the door. You need to walk 30 to 50 meters with your suitcase to the main road, but it doesn't matter."

"A great stay at Altis Grand. Clean and spacious rooms with a very comfy bed. We requested a king size bed and the staff made sure this was accommodated for. The only problem we had was our room took a little while to be ready, even after check-in time but we were happy to just have a drink in the lobby bar and were given complimentary pastel de natas. The location is good, about 20-30 minute walk into the centre and 5-10 minutes from a metro station."

"My dissatisfaction began when I was asked what I needed when I approached the reception. I said that I was checking in. The person behind the counter was dissatisfied. The next thing was that I had to leave a deposit of 50 euros. This shocked me. I have traveled a lot and lived in different hotels, and no one asked for a deposit. The hotel for a 4 star is very modest and small. The room is tiny. At night, mosquitoes also prevented me from sleeping. The food for breakfast is ordinary, a buffet."

"Fantastic hotel. Not exactly in the centre but I liked it. Shopping centre 30 seconds walk away and €5 to get to all the tourist bits. Hotel staff super friendly, lovely big standard classic rooms; great decor and feels very special. Really enjoyed my stay."

"This hotel is a very nice, rustic hotel that is renovated and it is at the bottom of the hills near the sea, so it is not a burden to climb to the hotel :) I really anjoyed my visit, the breakfast is simple but enough and enjoyable in their beautiful terrace. I really recommend but dont mind the outer steps to the hotel, if you have bad knees, it might not be for you :) 30 steps roughly."
