The hotel is lovely with fantastic views of the sea and local hospital! The pool was inviting a tad cold but that’s to be expected this time of year. We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms big lounge and 6 sunbeds. The apartment needs some updating but the beds were very comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant only drinks which were a bit pricey The rooms were not cleaned unless you asked them to be neither were the towels changed again unless you asked. We didn’t bother in the end and picked up new towels from reception. There are pool towels if you want them. If you want a takeaway reception will give you a menu which was very good There is a small supermarket up the hill for basics and if you are happy to walk 10mins up a hill the treehouse restaurant is a must. The biggest downfall is the location you can not walk into town due to it being on a main road. The accommodation is very close to the main road so always woken up by motorbikes and cars from 5am. Taxis are easy to get hold of through reception or you can try getting a bus either the 418 or 482 but the times are hit and miss. Overall if you want something out the way but very comfortable this is the place for you.

We’ve just returned from seven days of heaven, what an amazing holiday we all had. My husband and I took our adult kids with us, aged 22, 19 and 18. Each one of us said it was the nicest hotel, most accommodating staff and fantastic food that we’ve had in an all inclusive hotel. When we checked in we were given a glass of champagne to welcome us, taken to our rooms, showed how all the gadgets in the room worked and felt very welcomed! We did all three al a carte restaurants and each one was fantastic, you really did feel that you were in a proper restaurant. But the food in the Central Market was lovely too! We were in a swim up room, which is sunny all morning but then goes into the shade. But it was welcomed as the sun can be deceivingly intense. Comfiest sun beds ever! Finally thank you to all the staff. They were all so friendly, professional and as I say just smile! Best smiles and teeth ever! Best holiday I’ve had in a long time - thank you to everyone there.

My Mum and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for 4 nights as part of her birthday celebration and it was perfect! The rooms are so comfortable and the bedding is sublime! The team who work there are so fantastic - nothing is too much trouble and ever so helpful. There are beautiful towels by the pool which don’t slip down and you get two as standard so not everything is wet when you get out! There is even suncream at the pool so you don’t have to bring your own! Wifi is brilliant throughout the hotel. Cocktails are beautiful, about 17-18 euros each but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious. My only criticism was the lack of food choices in the hotel by the pool - not a huge amount to choose from, very fish based (I don’t eat fish) and the service was a little slow for drinks but that could be the time of year. But there was fabulous popcorn cones and fruit kebabs which were shared in the morning which was great. When planning you’re trip, just be aware that there is nothing around without a taxi from this hotel - there’s some lovely local places nearby but you will need to get in a taxi. The beach area is incredibly well set up - the little train takes you there, there’s a full bar and restaurant, toilets, suncream and sun loungers. Overall it was a brilliant stay and would recommend the hotel for sure - would be even better once the refurbishments are done and there are a few more pools and the restaurant with a view is open again! Great staff working at the buffet. Thumbs up to Yani, who took care of our table every day in a very professional and friendly approach, we really loved it. The hotel is well located, walking distance to the beach, party area and Siam Park & Mall. The room was big enough and comfortable, with excellent cleaning service. I read elsewhere the location was noisy, however, this wasn't the case at all on the 3rd floor facing the window (while the party area next to the beach was very busy). Overall, great experience, definitely recommendable.

The hotel staff and facilities are perfect for disconnection and enjoyment of all the activities that you offer throughout the day. The staff without doubt very competent people who are always with a smile and to help you at any time! The apartment has very complete facilities and no minimum detail, all super careful and mimated with all the facilities that make you a perfect stay! Thanks to all for making these very pleasant holidays! We will return 😊

Reception: Our checkin agent, Cesar, was extremely helpful. He even remembered us at check out and made a joke to us. Room / facilities: Room number 8327 is on the 3 floor and is fairly clean. There is a self control air conditioning with a balcony door that opens which overlooks the pool. The room has 2 single beds joined to make a king bed , unsupportive pillows, small flat screen TV, table with 2 chairs, a hanging area with a valuables safe inside, (the safe door swings open when not used, due to it being installed at an unlevel angle), the bathroom has a tub with shower, bidet and toilet (that constantly drips). After advising reception, a repair man visited, and strangely, INSTANTLY knew what the problem was as he entered the room. However after departing the room they failed to fix the constant drip. The toilet continued to drip during our stay. This constant drip is very annoying once you are aware if it. There is a small bar fridge, (but no tea or coffee facilities). Furniture is very dated and has suffered a lot of wear and tear over time. Parking: is available for free with 2 parking areas that accommodate approx 25 cars, for the 500+ rooms in the hotel. It seems that all open air parking (excluding parking garages) on the island are free of charge. Wifi: Complementary. On our first night the wifi was super mega slow and atrocious to use, and failed multiple times to open any website, even though its advertised as premium Wifi. The Wifi connection dropped out regularly, required multiple password re-input and was just super, super, super slow, even when trying on multiple devices. After 2 calls to reception the night of our arrival, there was nothing they could do until the technician could attend to the problem at 10.30am the following day. I had to resort to my 4G data to gain any connection. The wifi was functioning the next day. Breakfast: Included and available for all guests. The buffet style consisted of fruits, cereals, hot eggs (precooked or freshly cooked), sausages, bacon, crumbed chicken pieces, baked beans, cold meats, juices, pastries, breads, tea and coffee. Be aware of the human vultures that swarm the food, as if there was no possibility of refill. Conclusion: Great looking hotel from the outside and foyer areas, but walk into the room, you immediately step back 20 years into a tired dated room. Letdowns: Initially the wifi not functioning and dropping out, the constantly dripping toilet, poor/lack of in room amenities, tired furniture. As the foyer bar was closed, i rang reception and requested for and ice bucket to be delivered to the room, which would have incurred a €3 charge this to me is unacceptable. Previously, at the foyer bar, i asked for 2 glasses of ice, but could only receive one as the barman said “the ice machine is broken”. Or was it due to the hotel ice delivery was insufficient to cater for the number of guests in the hotel? Location / Nearby: Arona town main street and all its

Food is bad, one in our family got sick after eating in the restaurant, after few days we had to call a doctor. Next day we were flying out in the afternoon and the person that still was sick asked for late check out and stated the reason why, the answer was still no. Even stranger, one night we asked for virgin mojito at the bar, the three bartenders who were working all said no. That they were only alowed to make it with rum, when we offered to pay the regular price but asked them just to skip the rum, the answer was still no. Ot seems that the poor staff who mostly are very nice, are not allowed to male any decisions on the job, no autonomy, making the services robot-like an heartless. The problem obviously is whit the managers that were screaming at the staff when I arrived and the computer system had crashed, I didn’t have to understand Spanish to understand how terrible managers are in this hotel.

We arrived 27/9, family of 4 adult ladies. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment and were delighted to be shown to a newly refurbished 2 bed, 2 bathroom, 2 balcony apartment in J block. It was absolutely ideal for us, lots of space, everything clean and new. There was even a filtered water tap. Couldn’t fault it. The complex itself is lovely with lots of bars serving excellent food, drink and entertainment. Highlights are Sunday & Wednesday afternoon entertainment in the square and the excellent quiz nights in the sun inn. You’re also a short stroll to the beach and shops if venturing out. Pools are lovely, yes you have to book a bed the day before but it wasn’t a problem and often spare beds can be found at the bottom pool. The top pool tended to be busier as that’s where the entertainment team are based. The complex does have plenty of stairs but we knew that when booking and there are plenty of friendly staff to help you up and down with luggage etc. We were able to keep the room on for a couple of hours on our last day at a charge of €10 per hour. We also used the excellent, clean, newly refurbished courtesy shower room in reception before leaving the resort. It was fabulous. Overall 10/10 from us. We’ll see you next year sunset bay.
