Best Hotels in Santa Cristina, Italy

We stayed here in an emergency situation after our flight was delayed for a day. They were able to accommodate 10 of us in four rooms easily. We arrived far earlier than check in but this did not phase them. Nothing was too much trouble, from the receptionist sorting us a complimentary drink each and finding a room for our suitcases, to the lifeguard getting us towels sorted for the pool and the bar staff getting us a football for our Grandson to play football with. Lunch was excellent value for money, high quality snacks and large portion sizes. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Lots of little extras included slippers, dressing gowns, biscuits, shaving kits and toothbrush sets as well as traditional toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We could not fault anything about our visit.

This hotel has many problems. No special welcome as HHONORS Diamond Member. Don't take a shower in this hotel! The shower in the bathroom of our room was wrongly installed resulting in water flooding in our room and myself nearly been locked in the shower due to the shower door not moving properly. The toilet was not flushing properly either (resulting in a lot of noise). The reception seemed well aware of this problem which seems to exist since a long time (see other tripadvisor reviews). It is therefore utterly shocking that the Hotel checks in Diamond Elite members into a hotel room with a dysfunctional bathroom. We did get zero compensation for having been sold a room not in line with Hilton Standards (after complaining they brought some extra towels to put on the wet floor). The extra bed for our daughter had only a very tin matrass. The reception staff told us that they had not other extra beds. After lengthy discussions and complaining, a guy came to our room who was more helpful than the reception staff and found a normal matrass/roll away bed for our daugther (so clearly the reception staff had been lying to us about no other extra beds being available...). Some of the the common areas of the hotel are also in need for cleaning and have small dysfunctionalities like sockets wrongly (sideway) installed (see picture!) which is not acceptable for a Hilton hotel. The breakfast was good but it could not compensate for the substandard room we did receive which was clearly not in line with Hilton Standards and not a way to treat Diamond Elite Members. The least the hotel could do is to provide us a compensation for the substandard room they sold us (which they have refused so far)

The location of the Hotel is a plus, because it is near bus stops and a few minutes walk from the train station going to Venice proper. The breakfast buffet was okay, could add more choices but nonetheless we enjoyed our stay. Kudos to the night shift receptionist (forgot his name) who was very helpful and was able to book us a taxi for our early morning flight. Would definitely recommend 👍

Fine location, need to take a bus to arrive Venice, bus station is straight under the hotel. A loot of noises came from the window, all day and all night long which disturbed my sleeping.

The location of this hotel is particularly good, right next to the railway station.It's only a 20-minute bus ride from the main island to the mainland. And you can choose breakfast every morning. Even better, some concerts and parties are often held in the evening. I see they are trying best to create a better and comfortable accommodation environment here.

I have just returned home from my holiday in Italy. This hotel was was one of my stops and I like to share my experience. All of the staff at this Crowne Plaza were incredible and helpful. Without doubt one of friendliest staff! Upon arrival a female receptionist welcomed us friendly in good understandable englisch: She answered our questions, gives us a city map and explained us the facilities. The Restaurant manager and his team were extremely friendly and very flexible (appreciated this!). The waiters were so kind and were fulfilling all extra requests. At the end, and upon Checkout, I was pleased to meet the General Manager. I appreciated her way to provide a good leadership and how is she supporting the guest service department. Note, this is not a 4 stars hotel. I would like to add the 5th star because of the good staff. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us. All respect for you because you did a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Already planning my next visit to the hotel! In Love!

The staff was lovely, the room was well furnished, and the placement of the lamps was super stylish. However, there was a dominating sour smell in the room and it did not leave even after opening the window for hours. Maybe it is the smell of a cleaning product, not sure, but it was very potent and bad when I entered the room. Also the shower head is way too big for the wall-mounted holder and the showerhead falls out from it. You can not stand under the shower but have to hold it all the time. Otherwise everything was great. I appreciated the blackour curtains and the nice breakfast options.

Overall a great stay for me and my family! Great check in process! It was smooth and fast! We got a Family Room and it is furnished exactly as shown in the photos. The food was decent. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is only a 1 min walk to Mestre Station where you can board the train into Venice Island. The few minor issues we had were the lack of toothbrush and toothpaste when we first check in, turns out we have to ask for them as they're not given immediately. And also there were no kettle to boil water to make coffee or tea, which is a surprising given that this is a 4-star hotel, however, it is not a major problem for us and it is still a 10/10 recommendation to stay at this hotel.

We were with the family during the period of the untapped bridge, we were very kind and ready to meet the needs of our customers, clean, hot, super silent room with large bathroom and all comforts, The room was cleaned and the room was cleaned.
