Best Hotels in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand

The hotel location is good, but the room space (smaller) didn't match as the advertisement. The restroom should be improved which has to seperate wet and dry zone,

Stayed here for 5 nights July 2022. Absolutely fabulous. Originally only booked for two nights, however the hotel was so good, I soon changed it to five. Flew down from Don Meuang and was collected from the airport by the hotel taxi, a great service. There was a small charge for this. The concierge guys at the hotel were fantastic. They even organised a hire car for us, which was great. Check in fine, staff on the front desk couldn't be better. The room on the 17th floor excellent. People on here mention the bed. Oh my goodness, the best mattress, bedding and pillows I've ever slept on. Everything perfect in the room and worked just fine. The fittings looked and felt high quality too. Breakfast... Wow, buffet style. All the food on offer was superb. Southern Thai food is really delicious. I tried everything during my 5 night stay. We even had dinner there one night and that too was fabulous. I think the hotel is owned by the CP group, which owns the 7/11 group, and many of the large supermarkets here in Thailand. Mr CP. himself would enjoy a stay here! This is a City centre hotel, if you're looking for a large swimming pool complex, this place may not be for you. However there is a decent size swimming pool with a nice looking Spa complex and a well equipped gym. We were visiting family, so didn't get chance to use those facilities during our stay. Excellent value for money! Couldn't fault the stay at the Grand Fortune Hotel. I will definitely return to Nakhon to visit my new Thai family. I'll definitely be booking this hotel again. Maybe I'll be visiting the family more because of this hotel. Excellent stay and fantastic value for money. Thanks again and best wishes.

Pros: 1. In the center of the city, easy to find things to eat, next to the main road, opposite the opposite side. There is a convenience store 2. There is a large gym separated in front of the hotel, complete equipment, spacious place with 2 floors 3. Spacious room. Housekeeper cleans well 4. The price is cheap. Cons: 1. There is no slipper and toothbrush set provided. 2. The key card is provided only one. Inconvenient if going to stay 2 people 3. The hangers are a little too small.

We have always chosen at Twin Lotus when we have to visit Nakhon Si Thammarat. The room here is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Things that need to be improved are the chair is old and shaggy and there’s only one plug socket. Buffet breakfast is good but the best is its Chinese restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was located just off the main road and suitable for travellers with a car. Quite a few car parks both covered and uncovered are available. The bed was comfortable and I liked the hair dryer provided. There is a great street food market just beyond the bridge on the left of the main road. There is also a craft beer bar next to the hotel (which looks like it’s designed or owned by the hotel??) where we watched the World Cup. Room felt a little bare and minimal amenities provided. The water heater for the shower is timed and you would get a sudden blast of hot water or ice cold water so you need to time your bath. Only one key provided so if you leave the room after taking a shower, the power turns off and you come back to a damp bathroom as the air vent is shut off. The sound travels from the corridor but I don’t think there were many guests during our stay so it wasn’t too bad. There is no kettle provided in the room so you have to go to the outdoor lobby area to get hot water, a bit inconvenient but at least it’s provided.

New hotel, clean, modern, the room is not very big. But the facilities are complete. The bed is very soft and comfortable. The water flows well. There is a small swimming pool. The children love it. The breakfast may not be very diverse. There is also a signature Khanom Jeen Yaya menu. Arrive at 4 p.m., waiting to check in for a short time. There was a lucky draw to win a free room for 1 night, but ended up getting a free drink. It was very delicious. Ample parking Definitely go back to stay again.

The hotel is clean even when older. Convenient in the heart of the city Affordable room All amenities in the room But the outside floor carpet starts to smell. The sudden mistake is that the theater accepts outdoor activities regardless of the internal customers. Receive a wedding by allowing the host to play music into the event with a crowd full of speakers behind the pickup truck. At 8 o'clock in the morning Repeat that 8 to 9 o'clock, the sound of the glass shaking shows that you have poor management. You have the right not to allow the host to play music but do not. Show that you don't care about the internal customers. Show that you want to have an additional income regardless of most of them are resting customers.

It’s never happened to me and my friends before at any other hotels, but the staff Hop Inn Nakhon Si Tammarat didn’t let us stay due to passport issue. As I’m foreigner, they requested my passport upon check in, what is actually normal (I also work at hotel industry). But I’m Thai resident for many years, and I always use my Thai Driving License (with passport number on it) to check in to many-many hotels in Thailand, including another Hop Inn. Showing photo of the passport in my phone didn’t help as they requested to see my visa! I did’t see any effort of the staff trying to help, they seems don’t care and not even say sorry that cannot accommodate me and my friends (by the way, for my Thai friend they agreed to accept Driving License). Weird, how staff don’t care their guests. Luckily, ee found another hotel in 5 minutes away, which was pretty nice to accommodate us without any problems.

Apartment accommodation in Nakhon Si Thammarat city The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioner is cool. There is a housekeeper to clean it every day. 800 cc bottle of drinking water, you can take the airport bus to the front of the alley. Breakfast is bread and tea and coffee, not much variety. But overall It is considered okay
