Hotel :
Was going to cancel my booking at this hotel after I checked-in. Coz e lift lobby of my room was filled with smoke smell. Our room was also super small (unlike what I saw online). But was impressed w e service. After I feedback e lobby smoking smell was gone immediately. The newness of e hotel made me stayed through e 6 nights.
Rather small hotel. Realised that’s it’s Atour LITE on another site. Not grand. Simple. New. Clean. Small lobby. All e nice official photos shown online are just taken in a good angle, showing spacious nice decor. But in fact are just some small corners of e hotel lobby.
Room:
Our queen bed room was rather small. Just sufficient to open up 2 large luggage. Room is clean and new.
Toilet has a separate shower and toilet bowl and wash basin and kitchenette all in 1 row.
Location :
Short convenient walk to Nanjing Road.
Small entrance to hotel so may be difficult to find e hotel for e 1st time.
Breakfast :
Bought breakfast at e hotel for 2 days. Not worth e price. Spread is limited. Thou food is acceptable. Would suggest to book without breakfast and eat out. Convenient to find simple Chinese food around e hotel. Many small eateries lining e street. Or walk to Nanjing Road for bigger restaurants. Or just order food delivery.
Supper :
There is complimentary porridge supper with all e preserved condiments. Simple.
Water bottles :
Drinking water bottles are provided outside e lift lobby of each floor. So saved us lugging water from e convenient store.
Rainy days :
Met with thunderstorm on a few days. Hotel provided free use of umbrella and rain coat.
Didi :
Easy to get Didi but e small hotel lobby is in front of a small road. So Didi can’t stop and wait. Will have to be quick alighting and getting on Didi.
Lift :
Hotel is a preserved building. So only have 1 lift. Have to wait a while for e lift.
Staff :
All front desk staff are young people. Helpful and energetic. Helps with food and package delivery sent to lobby.
Booking :
Didn’t receive any gift as indicated on Trip.com upon booking.

A newly opened hotel embedded in a building. Rooms were clean, thoroughly prepared for. Staff here have been mostly friendly, efficient and really hardworking. Especially front desk staff Ouyang Huimin who was especially welcoming and helped us feel right at home!
For those who have difficulty sleeping at night, can request for steam eye masks and ear plugs which will be promptly delivered by the robot. Bottled water is provided everyday, we loved the provided bedroom slippers too! Type C, type A and even wireless charging is made available in the rooms.
Breakfast is a modest spread of Chinese / Western cuisines. Convenient to have but not a must as dishes may not suit everyone’s tastes. We did thoroughly enjoy the fresh fruits sections though - effort was made by the staff in removing watermelon seeds, thank you!
The hotel also generously provides a free late night porridge supper for all guests that ensures you won’t go to bed hungry!
24-7 self service laundry is available with 2 washers and 2 dryers but the hotel really takes it up a notch by helping you wash / dry them as the laundry room is very popular. There’s a well designed system for you to leave your instructions for the staff.
One thing worth mentioning is that there is NO sheltered drop off and private cars/taxis can only drop you at the roadside where you’ll have to walk in. Do take that into consideration.

Service is top notch. We’ve stayed at various hotels in China but none came close to Atour’s service. Efficient, effective, excellent. They even prepared a birthday surprise for my child and it really made him so happy.
Breakfast was a good and sufficient spread with 1-3 changes every 2 days or so.
Location: Just a couple streets away from the bund. We took a didi to all other locations.
Room: Quite small for our family of 2A 2C. For the price we paid, we had hoped for more space.
Facilities: Best laundry room any traveller can ask for - you put your laundry in, the staff was move it to the dryer/fold it for your collection when you get back.
Deliveries: food is delivered to your room by the robot. Parcels are kept the front desk.
Improvements that can be made: the kids were quite bored and it would have been so much better if there was something to keep them entertained.
Thank you Atour for such a great stay. We will definitely be choosing to stay at other Atour hotels when we next visit China.
It's a very clean and nice stay at Atour Light, service is impeccable too. High-tech smart hotel with the food delivery robot makes things very convenient too.

is a good affordable clean option for one night and if you have activities to do around the area.
The most critical negative comment is that the rooms are not sound proof I could hear someone from other rooms snoring and from outside.

Solo travelled to shanghai and stayed here for quite a few nights. Aesthetic of the place is 💯
One of the things i love about this hotel was the 📍location, it was a short walk to the amazing Bund (otw there, you can get your coffee run at starbucks!), metro isn’t far and there are little food places + convenient stores like family mart nearby too! It’s also a walkable to Nanjing Road where Pop Mart and many other shops are!
Another thing is the balcony - Requested to get the bigger balcony (which wont be at the highest floor but thats okay). Chilling in the early morning or just having my supper by the balcony is so nice. The construction happening right now nearby didn’t affect me incase anyone was wondering, because i’m usually out and about by then. They also offer ear plugs if it affects you!
I did not book the room with the bund view, just balcony. But because the first room had issues with the TV, they transferred me to another room where you can see a small glimpse of the bund if you sit more towards railing. (I don’t know if its an upgrade or still within what i booked, but assume it should be within that i booked). The room is 303 incase anyone wants to know!~
Lastly, for anyone who needs to wash their clothes 🧺, they have a little room with a washer and dryer, free to use! They provide detergent and all too~
Anyways, overall 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay here! And thank you for a lovely stay and the little goodie bag when i checked out. Was contemplating to get this cream, but i guess i don’t have to anymore! :)

This hotel's location is good for family journey. There are subway station and many of the shopping mall, convenien store and restaurants.
I willing to recommend this hotel to them who visit Shanghai with family.
This was a strange experience as the reception was above shops in the 7th floor. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast outstanding. It catered for all nationalities and was a nice hotel. We had some problems with the air conditioning doing what ever it wanted. We were cold then hot and it was frustrating. I think it was centrally controlled. The other problem was that the room we had backed in to the laundry area, so in the middle of the night, when the washing machines were spinning it wasn’t great. Suffering from jet lag and then this was a bit off putting. But generally very nice hotel. I would recommend

Not far from Shanghai train station or Shanghai South (a taxi is around 20 minutes). It’s very close to the Mercedes Benz Arena and the China Art Museum.
Arrived and was pleased with how calming it was in the middle of such a busy city. Checking in and out was very easy. There really isn’t any overhead lighting, a lot of natural light. Which I enjoyed. The zen like energy is great for someone like me.
It’s easy to get to the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. From the China Art Museum station it’s about 30-40 minutes. Even nearby, there’s the river and an area to shop, eat, and watch a movie.
Service was fantastic. From checking out, the restaurant…just the entire staff. The restaurant is great as well. Had dinner there the first night as it was raining, I was tired and saw good reviews about it. I would go back.
Overall, I would stay here again if I’m in Shanghai and have already recommended it to my friends as well if they travel down here.
Superb hotel at a quiet yet accessible location. Staff were really friendly, room was very comfortable, usage of space was well thought out of and no smell of smoke at all. Breakfast spread was scrumptious, and they even had free yummy porridge with side dishes for all hotel guests in the evening, which was a very thoughtful gesture! We also really loved the free laundry service which was so convenient and easy to use. Hotel was smart throughout - TV had info about whether the laundry and dryer machines were occupied, and we could order delivery and the robot helper delivered it to our room. Shoutout to Changpu 菖蒲 aunty who packed breakfast for us 💕 I’ll definitely book my stay with this hotel again when I’m back in Shanghai! Only gripe was that during the weekend, the porridge dishes were very quickly finished by other guests and not promptly refilled, but since it’s free it wasn’t that big of a deal, just left us a tiny bit disappointed since it was so yummy! 🥹

FFedor KUKANOVIt was very comfortable and good hotel.
They have perfect pillows in room numbers.
You sleeping like on the heavens.
If you would like you can buy it easily on the reception. If you buying more than 1 - you will have a good discount. I bought 2.
There are small gym and free laundry on the 1st floor.
All staff is very friendly and ready to help you every time and everywhere.
One minus only - nobody speak English. I used translator.

NNingningkankan ²⁰²⁴The second night, continue
You can request to share the twin beds in the guest room. The bedding is not as big as the hotel recommended, but the front desk gave us a large thermos for us to use for Chinese medicine. It was very comfortable, so we slept well the second night.
Breakfast is still satisfactory
Parking is free, but you need to report your license plate number to the front desk every day, which can be more user-friendly.
I checked in in the afternoon on the first day. I went back to the hotel in the evening and told the front desk that the two orders were all activated and the room card could be used for two nights. In fact, when I came back from the exam at noon the next day, I still found that I needed to update my room card, which felt a bit outrageous, hahahahaha
I forgot to mention that I borrowed two umbrellas for the two days of exams and it rained for two days, which was really great.
Driving home the next day after taking the exam, I passed by Songjiang Yunjian Granary to check in for dinner. I was full of happiness.

JJealousFINI decided to go back to China to watch a concert and visit Disneyland at the same time. I booked a hotel that is close to Disneyland and the airport. It was already 12 o'clock at night when I checked in, but the receptionist was very enthusiastic to receive me and helped with the delivery. Because I didn't have a domestic phone number, I couldn't order takeout. The receptionist also helped me fill in her number. Thank you 🙏🏻 The facilities are very complete. The cleaning lady helps to clean every day. It's very clean. There are many delicious foods around the hotel. The takeout delivery robot is very cute. However, I made a note before checking in to stay away from the elevator, but for some reason, I was still arranged in a room close to the elevator. It will be very noisy and affect my sleep.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI would like to wish everyone to stay here. It is not noticeable from the road, within walking distance, but it is very convenient to go from it to Nanjing Street, to the Bund. Opposite there is an amazing coffee shop, and 7/11. But the most important thing is the comfortable pillows, now I want one of these pillows for my home! Convenient laundry, unlimited drinking water and candy for children! You are the best! The Chinese are cool!
GGuest UserBeautiful environment, great service! The late night porridge is delicious! The room is smart, very considerate! The room facing the yard is sunny and very comfortable, and it feels like home! I will stay here again next time I come!
GGuest UserExcellent localisation, just next door to the metro station green line 2 Beixinjing (2 stops to the Hingqiao airport, 3 stops to railway station). Seriously next door, from metro exit nr 5 to the hotel entrance there are 5 meters. Just next door there is all day and night open Family Mart and several restaurants, a bigger shop in the underground (metro exit nr 4), KFC, bakery... Green line 2 of metro, so you can travel there directly from the Pudong airport. Hotel rooms are small, but clean and nice. Front desk operates 24h and the staff is nice. There is even a laundry to free use (only chinese writings). In general I grade this hotel very high, because it meet excellent my requirements during 2 weeks stay (in business). For sure I would choose it next time.
GGuest UserThe breakfast had a wide variety! The gym isn't big, but the facilities are quite complete. There's even a kettle in the gym, which is very thoughtful and user-friendly. The front desk staff also offered a cup of tea while you were waiting, which was very thoughtful. I like it and will definitely choose this place next time I'm in the area.
