I had the pleasure of staying at this unique boutique hotel during my recent trip to China, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s distinctive character—an enchanting blend of rustic charm and ancient elegance. Yet, despite its aged aesthetic, the hotel is immaculately maintained and thoughtfully curated. Every corner tells a story, and there’s a quiet beauty in its timeworn textures and peaceful ambiance. Service was warm and attentive, with staff who made me feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. My room was cozy, well-appointed, and tastefully designed to reflect the historic atmosphere while offering all the modern amenities I needed. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was serene, offering a perfect retreat from the bustle of the city. Whether I was enjoying tea in the tranquil courtyard or simply admiring the vintage touches in the hallway, I felt relaxed and inspired. Highly recommended for travelers looking for something beyond the typical hotel stay—this place is more than a place to sleep; it’s an experience in itself.

This hotel is always amazingly clean, great service and attention from the staff 24hrs. The location is so convenient, have shopping mall, restaurants, barbershop and even dance studios near by. Has laundry service also available all day/night. I book to stay here every time I’m in Shanghai, highly recommended !!

I have stayed here before and my room was much nicer the previous stay. This time I only had a small window behind the bed and felt a little bit boxed in. However, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom very large with the Japanese toilet. I was happy overall.

The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating .specially Iris she is fluently in English and nice personality….the rooms are big and clean.. I rate the hotel and the employers 10 out of 10… will stay here again when I go back in shanghai…

This hotel is situated in a quaint, urban and peaceful neighbourhood of Jing An. Staffs provided timely assistance and are friendly esp Xiao N. Couldn’t thank her enough for addressing my queries and also helping me with my luggage. Also, comfiest bed ever!! Will definitely rebook this hotel for my next visit!!

Will stay again! I booked this last minute because I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel I had originally booked, so I decided to switch hotels the same day. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and advertisements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. I really loved the bed, pillows, and even the slippers! On top of that, they provided a Dyson hair dryer, a Nespresso coffee machine, and even gave me a gift when I checked out! The room was spacious, perfect for solo travelers. The location was also great. Additionally, they have a locker for food deliveries, so you don’t have to worry about your food going missing if you don’t have a Chinese phone number. I will definitely stay again when I return to Shanghai for work!

Very pleased with our stay. A room with two twin beds and another bedroom double bed huge space for family of 4 to move around. The pricing is very good. Short walk from MRT station. Friendly and helpful staff. Initially skeptical about booking coz it is a very old hotel but they have refurbished. From beddings to towels n tv n amenities, all very good. No regrets !

Front desk is very friendly. Environment is fantastic. Location is amazing. Couple things needed to improve, the room need a clock. Especially the room no window. And the best way on tv screen is put a real-time camera face to the outside street. Let tenants feel more natural.........

I had a great stay here. Close by to a metro stop with a good food court nearby. The hotel is a modern design with a spacious lounge and reception. The staff were great, friendly and polite. They upgraded my room. The room was big and spacious , the bed comfortable and the shower was powerful. They provided new amenities everyday which I was helpful for. Many thanks for a great stay
