"During the National Day holiday, I went out with my friends and chose Ruchunshan B&B. It was unexpectedly comfortable and beautiful. As soon as I entered the yard, I felt isolated from the world. All the troubles and the hustle and bustle of the city had nothing to do with us. There is a small coffee shop in the yard. The coffee and desserts served are delicious. The small yard is carefully designed and carefully maintained every day. The room is very clean, the quilts and sheets are very fresh, and the mattress is very comfortable. It is very friendly to people with bad waists. We stayed in the loquat suite and there is a small balcony, which is very cozy. I will stay here again. Pet-friendly! The two girls who opened the shop are very nice and have good handwriting."

"This will be the second time we have stayed here and we will return! Breakfast is delicious and well worth the extra fee. The location is okay, but you will need to take a subway or taxi to get to where you wish to go, which can at times feel a bit far. The courtyard design is also grand and elegant in a relatively exquisite space. The design of the bed and the choice of bedding make the whole sleep feel very wrapped, and I sleep very well.
Finally, I would like to give special praise to the service. The young man and the young lady were very nice, warm and thoughtful, with good conversation and temperament. "What you see in the room is what you get. The viewing area is very large. I am in the room and the view is in the curtain. Thank you very much for upgrading the room. The Lushan Deluo on the door is very atmospheric. The water flow is when you open the door. It is very pleasant and relaxing to be in the mountains and rivers. The food at the homestay is delicious, the price is very, very grounded, the hairy crabs are delicious and not expensive, the big white strips are fresh, and the chef's craftsmanship is dripping.

"10.1 I came to Xishan for the holiday and booked this homestay. I arrived at 2 o'clock that day. After parking, the boss went out to greet me and said that the room had been arranged and took us upstairs.
Before I decided to set here, I was worried that the network map did not match the actual situation. I entered the yard and found that it was very new and pet-friendly. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lake and the mountain. The beds and bathrooms were clean and tidy.
A large banyan tree and pomegranate are planted in the yard. There is a place to drink tea and play cards under the shade of the tree. There are singing K rooms and billiards.
If there are many people, you can also pack the floor. An appearance has a combination of 4 rooms and 1 hall. Family outings, friends gatherings, and company group building are all suitable.
Special praise: pet-friendly, tram-friendly (the boss has a charging pile at the door, no need to worry about the return trip)

"The environment is pretty good and pet-friendly. The room is not big and the hygiene is just average. What's more frustrating is that I can't find anyone at the front desk. I always get no response or a reply very late after adding WeChat. Generally, B&Bs will contact guests in advance and ask from time to time if there is anything they need or if they need the room to be cleaned. This is the first time I've encountered such a basically disconnected store😅"

TTuscany RoseI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me.
The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs.
Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful.
Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy.
As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels.
In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the core area of Pingjiang Road. It is right in the downtown area. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden.
The hotel is renovated from an old house, retaining the style of Suzhou gardens. The environment is quiet and it is separated from the downtown by a wall.
There is a row of areas for making tea around the stove along the river in the hotel. It is very pleasant to blow the breeze in the warm spring afternoon.
This time, the child's birthday, the hotel provided a parent-child room, and also sent a very cute cake, and equipped with birthday props, which is really considerate.
The room is spacious, equipped with a bathtub and smart toilet, and the cloakroom and dressing table are large enough. Fruits, drinks, snacks, good night sweet soup, and Chinese and Western breakfast are all included.
If you drive, park in the parking lot opposite, and stay in the hotel for free.
WeChat butler service all day, special thanks to the front desk lady surnamed Xu, the service is very good, thoughtful and attentive. I will stay here next time I go to Suzhou.

We loved our room and the staff were very helpful, gave us a late check out when I informed them my partner was suffering from food poisoning.
Plenty of amenities in the fridge and the hotel gym is one of the best I’ve seen in China let alone Suzhou.
We loved the breakfast as well as the bar that’s just around the corner from the lobby.
Can’t wait to come back to Suzhou and stay here again.

GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

Wwanderlust123The hotel itself is also an attraction in Suzhou. There is a huge “Yuan Lin” in the hotel premises. Strong shower power, separate shower space from the bathtub. So 2 person can shower at the same time. Although the shower door is not as tight and water would leak out leading to wet bathroom floor. Comfortable bed also. Service is good. Can get robot to deliver your food delivery.
Although do note the free dryer is a bit weak. Can’t dry your clothes. Even after 5 hours in the dryer. Still not dry.
Another thing good is they also have traditional costume photoshoot available in the hotel. If you don’t want to spend the money there is a free 60 minutes experience of renting to wear the traditional costume and walk around the premises for photo taking (self). Although no makeup and styling. But beware, one of the female manager is super money faced and would keep ask you to spend and top up money. If you don’t, her attitude flips 180 degree.

AAnonymous UserArrived at front desk to do checkin, male front desk attended to me and did my check-in. Shared that he did a free upgrade for us, and asked for a 5star review. (But i believe in an honest review)
Then came the deposit collection of 500RMB. Site show Cash/Credit/Alipay/Wechat Pay. Since i have excess cash with no use, i decide to do cash deposit. Not to mention site shows *non cash deposit may take 2-4 weeks to refund* The guy gave an unwilling face to receive it and wanted a change of deposit method, asking if i have Alipay or WeChat pay since ”We dont even use cash in china mainland anymore. We all use ewallets. Also, you giving cash deposit will require longer checkout process as it is more tedious” When i shared that this was excess cash with no use as i also use Alipay, he asked me to change my deposit method.
Next we wanted to do laundry, but it was a chargeable (?) facility. Other hotels are giving free laundry but here at this *5star* hotel is chargeable..? Nevertheless, for obvious reason, we can't use the self laundry service because it requires an APP installation and account setup that can only be tied to a local number, which we do not have as a tourist. When attended to front desk, we had to ask for specifically their help to run the washer and the first thing the male front desk ask was ”i can help you run it, but how do you want to pay me for the fees later?”
Went up to the laundry room with him at level 2 and he was enquiring if we can do Alipay or WeChat pay for the fees before he even assist with the wash. It was merely a 5RMB! Immediately ask for me to add him on WeChat and facilitate payment at soonest.
Free gifts by hotel - we only tried out the canal cruise. But of cos, for the reservation with hotel is 2H prior, but to receive the reservation details is with local number. Since I have already added their WeChat so they sent me the booking details with the local number confirmation. But we had issues at cruise to scan the QR code as it was not the right one.
Breakfast, basic spread i'd say. Not the best, quite limited but i suppose it's sufficient for filling up your empty stomach before finding alternative outside.
Room size is definitely spacious since ”upgrade” was given.
We transported around with DiDi but the drop off lobby is so tight that the drivers made us board the car on main road with so many cars moving, which can be quite dangerous especially we still have to check the carplate numbers.
Metro station, however, is just across the street. Which is very accessible for guest doing public transport.
All in all, i would say the hotel offers a very comfortable sleep for the room amenities but the hotel facilities and service requires more improvement.

DDaniel Yan HonMy friends and I had a really lovely time here. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully designed, clean and well equipped. There was complementary tea in a tea set which we enjoyed. Free laundry service, with a laundry basket in the room. The location was a good fit for the sights we wanted to see. Our receptionist was helpful and suggested good food options for lunch and dinner.
