My friend found the Wuxingwan Hotel on Trip.com for our trip. After checking in, we found the hotel to be clean and tidy, with modern facilities and comfortable bedding. The layout was well-designed, allowing two people to stay without bothering each other. The price was great, and most importantly, it was super convenient for getting around. The bus stop right outside the hotel goes to all the tourist spots, saving us a lot on taxi fares. I've been back several times since it opened, and this time, the staff even gave me a goodie bag!

Staying within the tourist centre, included the tickets for two and breakfast coupon worth RMB60 to experience the special 'zao cha ke' (breakfast with the opera singing view) and not to forget there's a balcony in the room! The host for Hostel 18 (Xiao Dong) was nice and friendly, they also prepared breakfast for us and gave us friendly reminder about the cooling weather as well as luggage needs to be sent to front counter one hour before we go to avoid delay. During check in it was the counter sent the luggage for us as well, there was a small car that fetch us to certain points as well. Overall it's good, except the room was bit small and the noiseproof bit bad and the water flowing down was slow in shower room. Wouldn't deduct much point for that.

Our twin room had a sofa bed, and the hotel thoughtfully provided bedding, which perfectly solved the problem of our two kids fighting over a bed. Staying here for an early morning flight is super convenient; it helps you avoid traffic risks and feeling rushed. We even had time for breakfast before heading to check-in. However, the breakfast here isn't great – the baked beans were watery, and the muffins weren't good. But other than that, everything else was excellent. It's well-soundproofed too, so it wasn't noisy despite being right at the airport.

This hotel seems to be a chain brand from Wenzhou. To be honest, I was a bit worried when I was about to check in because it's located in the old town. However, once I actually stayed there, the experience completely exceeded my expectations, even pleasantly surprising me. The hotel's location is excellent. It's only a 3-minute walk to Wuma Street, and there are all sorts of great eateries nearby, so you can easily satisfy your food cravings for an entire day on foot. What impressed me most was the hotel's thoughtfulness – the room had everything you'd expect, and even some unexpected delightful surprises. They even provided small items that are often overlooked, like hair ties and makeup remover pads. It's rare to see such attention to detail. Plus, with all the little snacks, it really made me feel well-cared for. The most unforgettable part for me was their baked sweet potatoes (honey sweet potatoes) – they were incredibly delicious! The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly, making you feel right at home. If I'm ever in this area again, I will definitely choose to stay here and revisit.

Facilities: The room has a 'Xiao Du' smart assistant that can control the TV and air conditioning, which is quite convenient. In the lobby, there's a robot that can deliver food. Cleanliness: The cleaning was decent; I even extended my stay for another day. Environment: The environment is great, with a subway nearby, making it easy to visit attractions around West Lake. Service: The service was warm and welcoming, and the guesthouse itself was pretty good.

The room, though small, had everything one could need. The hotel is located right on the main street of the ancient town, so all the dining, entertainment, and shopping are right there. It's incredibly convenient to walk from here through the old town to the canal and West Lake! The hotel's interior is clean and tidy, the housekeeping staff are very polite, and the room itself was quite quiet.

Extremely satisfied! I've stayed at the West Lake State Guesthouse and Xizi Hotel multiple times, and this time I visited Shaoxing Hotel, a state guesthouse in a tier-three city. I found it to have its own unique charm, and the check-in experience and value for money were on par with, if not better than, state guesthouses in provincial capitals. If you explore carefully, you'll discover many novelties. Plus, the enthusiastic staff shared many historical anecdotes with us. While the scenery might not have the natural advantages of a provincial capital's state guesthouse, the views near Dai Cafe are absolutely stunning, and Fushan Park is just a stone's throw away. Fan Wenlan's Former Residence is elegant and serene, exuding a pleasant cultural atmosphere. The hotel's Lingxiao Pavilion is classic and quaint, and the Duoshijinliang Bridge has a unique and beautiful design, maintaining an ancient, refined style. The sculpture in the center of the hotel lobby combines ancient and modern elements, making it very interesting. The crystal chandelier is also different from others, with a beautiful name: 'Listening to the Rain on Fushan'. The staff shared all these details with us as if they were cherished treasures. Shaoxing is a city rich in culture, and its state guesthouse is naturally a shining pearl within it. So, our two-day stay was a rich experience. The 68 RMB breakfast was incredibly rich, delicious, and nutritionally balanced. I bought a hotel package, which was great value, including a black-awning boat tour and a complimentary dinner. It also included three quick-edit photos from a travel photography session. The dinner was lavish, with a full sense of ceremony. The new travel photography service was also excellent. My scheduled date was fully booked, but the extended date brought rain and a significant drop in temperature, and I was due to check out. The travel photography customer service helped me arrange a session for 5 PM on my desired day, and the photographer efficiently captured beautiful photos before dark, quickly and skillfully. Both the photographer and the stylist were wonderful, working tirelessly and demonstrating high levels of skill and emotional intelligence.

We chose this room type mainly because it allowed two friends to stay without disturbing each other, with one bed on each floor. I was pleasantly surprised to find a waterside patio downstairs, which I really liked. However, the chairs weren't great; it would be perfect if they could be replaced with outdoor sofas. Also, the large sofa downstairs wasn't very comfortable to sit on. The power outlet by the bed downstairs was a bit loose, so the charger wouldn't stay in. Everything else was perfect, and we were very satisfied with our stay. Our butler, Xiao Dang, was very responsible. He picked us up from the parking lot and took us to the hotel. After check-in, he showed us to our room and sent us a lot of information about local attractions. He answered all our questions, which made our trip very enjoyable. Thanks!

There is a self service laundry from housekeeping in a note and Christmas greeting with apple at check in counter and in the room. Water in bottle and plum sweet at lift lobby on our floor. Our room can view xi hu partially if sunny. We stay at 10th floor 1002. Breakfast is great. Everyday different type of porridge. Breakfast also serve different type of local snack at steam deck. 3type of porridge and oat milk or soya milk or 豆花 . They serve soft drinks in bottle too. The steam snack is tasty. Outside the hotel there is a matcha dessert shop which always has a queue. Walking distance to xi hu or 1 stop by train and walking distance to wu lin night market but we prefer to go he fang street 2 train stop away feng qi station. Taking didi you can inform driver to pick outside the hotel door step. We book 1day tour to wuzhen using klook and tour bus pick us from the roadside bus stop at 815am just outside the hotel. Very convenient.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV had a lot of very interesting shows including English language movies and movies with subtitles. The bar in the lobby is also very nice, the bartender makes very good MaiTais. Definitely recommend!
