Arrived late at night and was warmly greeted and escorted to my room. I was informed about the breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea options. When I got my clothes dirty in the morning, the front desk staff was very kind and hand-washed them for me. The room facilities were excellent. When it was time to leave, they helpfully called a taxi for us. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

Huzhou Giraffe Manor Hotel is, without a doubt, a fantastic place for kids. It has two main highlights: 1. You can find various small animals everywhere and interact with them up close, which is really fun. 2. During breakfast, you can get close to the giraffes and even feed them while you eat. My child absolutely loved it! However, if you're visiting on a weekend, try to get to the restaurant before 8 AM for breakfast. Otherwise, all the seats near the giraffes will be taken, and people won't want to leave – and who can blame them, haha! Now for a few drawbacks, mainly concerning the room facilities: 1. We stayed in a wooden cabin, and there was a persistent odor in the bathroom. I'd suggest the hotel place some air fresheners in the bathrooms, as the smell wasn't pleasant. 2. When the air conditioning was first turned on, there was a musty smell. It would dissipate after a short while, but we had to open the door to air it out. The downside was that opening the door let in mosquitoes, which was a dilemma. 3. Speaking of mosquitoes, they can be quite a problem during the warmer months.

Facilities: It's a guesthouse, a bit old, but perfectly functional. The bathroom is a little small, but still adequate. Cleanliness: Everything was arranged neatly and very clean, exceeding my expectations. Environment: To my surprise, I had a riverside room – absolutely beautiful and amazing! Service: Excellent! This is my second stay at the Marco Polo Hotel Lakeside. It's close to West Lake; you just cross an underpass from Jiebai and you're there. The subway station is also very convenient. The front desk staff were so welcoming and even proactively upgraded me to a deluxe king room. The room also had a water dispenser, and everything was clean. Marco Polo is definitely the top choice when visiting West Lake! It's hassle-free, saves time, and is very close to Intime 77, with plenty of dining options nearby. I'll choose Marco Polo again next time I come to West Lake.

From there, you can take a boat (the only place offering a 20-yuan ferry) to Huxin Island, and finally, head to Nanhu Tiandi for a meal. Service: The hotel maintains strict quality control. She upgraded our room when possible and gave us recommendations for evening activities. What really stood out was when she offered us two warm, yes, warm walnut cookies – they were so comforting and delicious, like coming home, especially since we were a bit hungry! We extended our stay for another night, and Ms. Jia at the front desk was equally warm and attentive. The entire hotel, from its facilities to its soft services, feels grand and well-designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices. I also appreciate their strong commitment to environmental protection, with trash cans that have ditched plastic bags – excellent!

They even upgraded me to a huge room with an amazing view, free of charge! The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety, including several meat dishes and plenty of fruit. You can also get fresh noodles or rice vermicelli cooked on the spot, and the coffee is rich and aromatic. The hygiene was impeccable. Plus, the subway is nearby, just one stop from the airport. You can also take the subway one stop to the next village to buy groceries. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.
