Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the comb was very unique. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was a big plus. The location was excellent, with the subway, bus, and major attractions like Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum all within a 15-minute walk. Along the way, there were commercial streets with snacks and local specialties, and places like Yaba Shengjian and Guanqian Street were not far, making it very convenient! After a long day of sightseeing, returning to the hotel was a great way to unwind! The open-air patio was particularly interesting; I happened to catch it during the rain, which added a wonderful ambiance! The service was exceptionally good; they were very patient and helpful with services like mailing. Highly recommended! The room also featured central air conditioning, electric curtains, and an automatic toilet!

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

Guest UserThe room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

Highly recommended! Before checking in, I thought it was an old hotel and didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the room. Although the decor is over 10 years old, all the facilities are of good quality. The furniture, carpets, and bathroom fixtures, though a bit dated, had a better feel than what was shown in the promotional pictures. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent! The cleaning was very thorough, and the room had fresh air with no strange odors (no old room smell). The room also offered an open view and was quiet!
The front desk and restaurant staff I encountered during my stay were very helpful and efficient in handling requests and resolving issues. You could tell they were well-trained!
Considering the location, service, and quality, it offers great value for money!
Suggestions for improvement: There was only one tissue box at the washbasin. I recommend placing another one in the bedroom area. Also, it might be a good idea to periodically check the seals in the shower and toilet partitions, as there was a minor leak one day.

Guest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!

Guest UserThe room on the 68th floor offered a stunning view, overlooking both Xuanwu Lake and Jiming Temple. The executive lounge's afternoon tea and happy hour were fantastic, with a great selection of Nanjing's local delicacies. Breakfast on the 45th floor had a beautiful ambiance, and the duck blood vermicelli soup and fermented glutinous rice balls were delicious. I'd definitely stay here again.

Guest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

I booked the Starry Sky room, but it rained. I'm not sure what was going on with the roof, but from morning on, there was a constant dripping sound, like water hitting the canopy. It would drip every now and then, making it hard to sleep.
It was the May Day holiday, so there were a lot of guests, but it felt like the hotel lacked a crowd management plan. Breakfast was crowded, but still bearable. The worst experience was dinner. I had planned to eat at the hotel for convenience. However, after ordering, forty minutes passed and not a single dish arrived, while tables that arrived after us were already getting their food. I completely lost it. There was no apology or reassurance during the process, and pushing for our order yielded no results. A very poor experience overall.

NevermindXOn a short trip to Nanjing after returning from Kuala Lumpur, I focused on Xinjiekou based on online reviews, and Jinling Hotel consistently ranked high. After checking in, I was very satisfied with the service, location, and dining. I highly recommend choosing the Asia Pacific Tower for its superior amenities; the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. Located in the heart of the business district, it's very close to Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) and the Presidential Palace, with plenty of local snacks like soup dumplings and duck blood vermicelli soup nearby. It's an old-established hotel even local drivers recommend, making it the top choice for a short getaway.
