2-Star Hotels in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

A simple functional equipment. Unfortunately, a large group did not allow breakfast in the first two days. Although there are many nice and good cafés in Rostock, the search became more difficult than expected. There was a lot of booking in the morning. From the 3rd day we had breakfast in the hotel, which was much more relaxed. All we needed was available. There was even sheep and mandel milk, so I was “saved”, as I can't eat everything and I depend on corn flakes with fruit. The staff was super friendly and pre-existent. It was nicely clean everywhere.

Given that we were the only guests at the hotel that day, we prepared a mini furchet for every person. Total number is standard, TV, WiFi. Bath is standard, well lighted. There was nothing hot water in the evening. The bottles of water are in the room for a separate fee.

The hotel is simply clean, located at the park behind the Baltic Sea Stadium. The two stars at the service have the really (no irony!) friendly older gentleman in late and also the delightful night service in the roll. The young lady is recommended to go to the day service a profession where she does not have to/shall/shall be able to handle with customers.

The room is clean, spacious, not far from amenities. The hotel atmosphere is very good.

The location is superb, right on the main shopping street which compensates for a lot. The hotel itself is OK, but best for sleeping, don’t expect anything above basic standard. Not super clean either, but not dirty. The small two-bed room was very warm already in May, but the windows could be opened. It seems as if several hotels share one reception, the rooms are in another building than the reception. A restaurant (Leon’s) is also part of the business, we had to drop the key there as the reception was closed Sunday morning. Breakfast not worth 15€, go to a nice café on the main street instead. Parking nearby under the shopping mall Rostocker Hof, 15€/24 h. Nearby street parking is hard to find. Construction work on the streets in May 2022 messed up the GPS navigation , but good signs helped.
