The location is perfect for Venice Beach and short walk from Santa Monica. Bike and scooter rental on the doors step as well as bars restaurants and coffee shops. The staff here are super helpful and the rooms are clean. Great shared space to chill over looking the beach. Tea and coffee facilities 24hr with use of kitchen. Bagels and porridge oats available for breakfast. Shower rooms and toilets spotless with great water pressure.

The rooms facing the highway can be quite noisy, but those overlooking the parking lot are quieter. It's a good place for an overnight stay given its proximity to the airport. However, the hotel shuttle service to and from the airport is an issue. They claim it runs hourly, but I waited at the airport from 11:30 AM until 2:30 PM before a shuttle finally arrived. When I called the hotel during my wait, they just told me to keep waiting. Upon arrival, I asked the front desk why there was no shuttle for three hours, and they said they didn't know.
Hotel was clean for the most part, except under the bed which was absolutely disgusting; but who goes under there anyway? The front desk staff were nice, so no complaints there, or anywhere except for parking!! Apparently there is a customer there that is “VIP” (which is what the front desk staff told me) and they are allowed to park their trailer and take up 5 spaces, even though the rest of us paid for our rooms too. My family and I were here on vacation to Disneyland, so the second day we arrived later in the evening back at the lodge. I understand we weren’t going to get our original spot, but there was NO parking. My husband drove the entire lot twice and by pure luck someone had just left, otherwise where would my family and I have parked? Location is great and the staff were friendly, but this experience alone would never allow me to book here again.
The GOOD: clean, modern looking, felt safe, mostly quiet (aside from the constant stomping noise) nice large TV, nice fridge (no light inside tho), hidden parking area, lots of stores around, didn't see any bugs/roaches, had extra towels, toilet paper, soap in check-in area, etc.
The BAD: Even though they are single story rooms, I heard constant stomping from what sounded like a thin lady above me, CONSTANT! Didn't matter if I returned at 2pm, 2am, 7am, noon, this person never seemed to leave their room. Sooo irritating! Also, I returned at 4am and all the parking spots were taken. As soon as I went into my room, a person came out of another room and left, leaving a space available. I had to go back outside and move my car to that empty space. PARKING SPOTS SHOULD BE GUARANTEED FOR THOSE WHO PAID THE $10/NIGHT FEE TO PARK HERE, WHICH IS ANOTHER DOWNSIDE, THE $10/NIGHT PARKING FEE. I had already booked this place for 2 weeks before I found this out!
The room and the building were both very clean and spacious, which was great!
The pool was also beautiful. I didn't go in, but the atmosphere was lovely!
The shower in particular was amazing. I've stayed in hotels in America and Europe before, but the water pressure and temperature were the best I've ever had.
In fact, it might have been better than some Japanese hotels and inns!
There was also a laundry room and an ice maker, which was very convenient.
The TV was huge, too! (No internet connection.) It would have been even better if it was compatible with AirPlay or something.
A refrigerator would have been even better, but I used the ice in the ice maker to chill beer and other drinks.
I'd love to stay here again!

Overall it is good, with breakfast and air conditioning. Although there is no 220V socket, there are irons and hair dryers in the room, which is very suitable for business trips. The location is also good, but the sound insulation is a little bit poor.

I want to leave a positive review for Samesun Hostel in Los Angeles. Overall, my impressions are very good. The hostel is clean and tidy, and you can feel the care for guests. The location is convenient, right on the Walk of Fame, close to many cafes, shops, and Madame Tussauds Museum. The staff is friendly – it has a really cool vibe for travelers.
However, a couple of things slightly dampened the start of my vacation. First, the reception didn't inform me about breakfast, so I simply missed it, even though it was included in the price. It was a shame, of course, as I had to run to a cafe and pay extra.
Second, they charged me for accommodation even though I had already paid everything in full online via Trip.com. Luckily, Trip.com's customer support was efficient and quickly refunded the money, so the issue was resolved in a couple of minutes without any extra stress. I am happy with the hostel itself, but be careful when checking in and clarify all details beforehand.

MMcIntoshPatriciaI feel less dogs would be nice. As well as a microwave in the room would be helpful along with a coffee ☕️ pot, and iron to say the least. Other then that KIKI the manager is easy to talk to, she listens and provides excellent service.
Thank you Kiki, & Zack

GGuest UserMotel 6 is a chain brand. There are three in Santa Barbara. When you book, you have to look at the address. This is my wrong order. I drove to the beach ten kilometers away and found that the order was wrong. The overall room is quite satisfactory, some compact but some facilities are available. It takes ten minutes to drive to the beach. There is free hot water and instant coffee at the front desk. The parking space is quite sufficient. One room and one parking space have a swimming pool.
LLaurent ZhengTransition hotel, very recommended, the price is too high.
5 minutes drive from the airport, inform the flight in advance, 11 o'clock to pick up the plane on time, very convenient. Hotel room facilities are basically the same as domestic home, very clean, no disposable toothbrush, remember to bring your own. Breakfast is very good, the top floor infinity pool is also very good, think about 200/yuan one night hotel, domestic should not find such a supporting facilities, suitable for the first day and the last day of transition, close your eyes
GGuest UserI like the bedroom everything look clean and comfortable to sleep. I was able to sleep well. Thank you! Would recommend this place I hope to come back again!..
GGuest UserThe Anaheim Convention and Exhibition Center is very close and can be walked. Disney/or the location is very good for meetings. For other requirements of the motel, don’t have too high expectations😄
AANASJOI recently stayed at morel 6 and was thoroughly impressed! The **location couldn’t be better**—just minutes away from Hollywood attractions like the Walk of Fame, TCL Chinese Theatre. Whether you’re here for sightseeing or entertainment, everything is easily accessible.
A major plus was how **clean and well-maintained** the rooms and common areas were. Housekeeping did an outstanding job.
Another highlight? **Easy access to public transportation** (metro and buses), making it a breeze to explore LA without needing a car. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers convenience, comfort, and value.
AAnonymous UserThe staff were very friendly. I took the Amtrak train and arrived at the hotel in the morning. I was able to check in around 10 a.m. and felt so happy. The hotel is located close to Disneyland. The room was clean and spacious, with a soft bed and great amenities. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay.
