Cala d＇Or Villas

My wife and I spent 4 nights here towards the end of October.The hotel was lovely-spotlessly clean,and very well located.Our room had a side sea view which was excellent,but the orientation meant that the sun disappeared from the large balcony early in the afternoon.Breakfast was very good-lots of choice,particularly the wonderful pastries.Having said all that ,there was a definite end of season feel to the hotel,and we were disappointed that the restaurant closed for dinner the night after we arrived.There was no mention of this on the website when we booked.Sun beds were being stacked away on our last day ( to be fair it was raining a bit) and it was clear that they were getting ready to close. We had booked direct,which was a bonus,not only on price,but we got early check in and late check out,and an upgraded room,so I would recommend this. We would definitely stay here again,especially as it is adults only-one of the reasons we chose it.A lovely place to stay.

Stepping in through the entrance I thought I had entered a spa ,tranquil , contemporary reception which smelt amazing .reception efficiently processed the necessary paperwork whilst we sipped a welcoming drink ,phew just breathe. No need to pay extra for towels or use of safe this is included. The Tucan is ideally situated a few steps from shops and beautiful beach Cala gran . We stayed in a third floor room with a side sea view. A bottle of water was in the small fridge which we used to keep our own drinks in . Tv had good reception with English channels wi fi was reliable . The bed was large and comfortable and I slept really well .air con seemed to work really well although in October not as hot as summer months. Bathroom waterfall shower was really lovely ,hairdryer was powerful and quick to dry my hair.room kept spotless by the team of maids that worked tirelessly to keep everywhere gleaming. Food was delicious ,breakfast amazing variety of hot and cold food.lunch at the snack bar was restaurant quality absolutely spot on. Dinner was varied and a different theme available each night , a huge choice and the desserts were absolutely delicious , best I have had at an a.I. Hotel. The pool area is clean and has multiple sun bed s, Bali beds never overcrowded a nice atmosphere with the animator friendly and inclusive but not over zealous.the small gym and spa were clean and the jacuzzi relaxing. Evening entertainment was easy going usually a vocalist and it everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, helped no doubt by the unwavering efforts of the bar staff who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone’s glass was never empty for more than a moment .remembering what you you like to drink and delivered with a smile despite being so busy. All the staff at the hotel are so engaging and helpful and make you feel so welcome they are what makes the Tucan fly above other hotels I have stayed at .if you stay you will want to return again and again ……

Excellent hotel....the All-inclusive food and drink represents great value for money, I particularly enjoyed the terakyi salmon and king prawns on the final evening of my stay. The location is perfect for the local shops and bars. I definitely plan to visit again and explore more.

We had a lovely family holiday celebrating some special birthdays arcross the ages of our multi-generational group of spread across 5 apartments. We had a mix of the older style apartments which were very spacious wity sea views and the newer style apartments which were well situated on ground floors in the heart of the complex. Rooms were clean and adequate. Tina Cuevas Challingsworth was very helpful in ensuring our large fanily group needs were met with the apartments close by to one other and ground floor for the older people in our group with reduced mobility and the very young with pushchairs. She also organised direct transfers to and from the airport which was very helpful. The hotel had something for everyone, the Pool was great and the children spanning from 9 months old to 11 years old had lots of fun in the pool. The football court, table tennis and paddle courts were also a big hit with the children. My son had the time if life and made lots of friends playing football daily. There was a lovely spa included in the all inclusive price also for adults and a beautiful chill out rooftop area with jacuzzi if you needed some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the main pool area. There is also a gym and place to have a therapeutic massage although the massage needs to be paid for in addition to the all inclusive. A great range of drinks, spirits, beers and cocktails were found at the pool bar including slushies for kids and the staff were really friendly. Snacks were yummy too. The food is the main buffet restaurant was fresh and delicious and staff were really kind and friendly towards us and got to know our family. Lovely desserts and ice cream on tap! Again, good range of drinks, red, white, rose wine, sangria, beer on tap as well as soft drinks and hot drinks. The hotel is located close to some of the beautiful bays within a 2-3 minute walk. A small town area is also a few minutes walk with further bars ans restaurants and shops and a fun park area for kids and a karaoke bar and love music. You can also get buses to nearby places from the town cala egos which is located close by. We went via bus ti the caves of Drach for a cost of £2.50 one way per person on the bus. Takeaway about 1 hour via bus and worth a visit. The animation team were really good also and come from all over the world. We had great laugh doing the laughter therapy and the entertainment was good at night. There is a lovely safe, family community feel to the hotel and it is really good value for money. Thank you Club Es Talaial for a great time. We created some wonderful memories during our time staying at the hotel and hope to return again in the future.

We have just returned home from a lovely week at AluaSoul Mallorca Resort. We had booked a superior room with a sea view, all inclusive, My Favorite Club and every penny was worth it! (For the MFC). We got a nice room in a quiet area in building 2, with the most amazing view, and the room was very clean. An extra luxury was the pillow menu. There was the most lovely, quiet and relaxing area with a small pool and cool Sun beds overlooking the sea at The Fancy Bar (reserved for My Favorite Club members). The Beach was beautiful with white sand and clear blue water. Nice and varied food in the buffet restaurant, and the all inclusive white wine/ rose wine and beer were ok. The breakfast and dinner in the Marea Restaurant were delicious, and the dinner in Mare Nubium Restaurant was excellent - in both places we bought very good wine at fair prices. The entertainment at Kentia Bar in the evening, had different themes. There were among others, The Supremes, Dire Straits Jam, Queen Tribute, Abba Show and Divas on the dance floor. All good sing a long and dance music. The staff were everywhere very friendly, helpful and service minded. But a special thanks to sweet Elwira in MFC breakfast restaurant, Carlos in Mare Nubium Restaurant, and the bartender (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) at the Fancy Bar in MFC. Also a special thanks to Alessia and Wilson in the entertainment team- they did a really great job! Hope that they are getting credit from the management for their work! The only negative thing was the All inclusive cocktails- they were undrinkable! So we had to pay to have a decent drink! But all in all we loved our stay, and we will love to return. And we can give our warmest recommendation for this wonderful place to everyone.
