When I booked, I saw that this hotel had 10,000+ positive reviews and other hotels had many less reviews. So my fear is that they were made by AI or fake reviews. But having stayed for a week in June 2025. Here is my review. The hotel has everything. It is so hard to find a hotel with everything. But this does Big TV that can stream from phone Separate shower and toilet rooms Large fridge with a small freezer Water pressure good WiFi Good Super clean Friendly service Laundry room with multiple washers and dryers and steamer (detergent provided) Good looking lobby Gym with treadmill, bike, bench and dumbells I didn't use the tea room facilities Good amount of clothes hangers in the room Great AC that's controlled in room Okay breakfast There were some reviews on here complaining about the quality of the finishing. This is mildly true. there are small scuffs on wall. Small and doesn't detract from the stay. The location is 15 min walk to shopping streets. Suzhou is flat so the walk is easy Line 1 metro is 12 min walk away There was some building noise due to a nearby shop doing some work, so we was offered an upgrade to a quieter room. This was nice and included a round bathtub. But even our standard smaller room had all the facilities and features listed above New towels and such daily. Cleaned very well. Andu in terms of features and facilities is comparable to Mecure, ManXin, Hilton. Maybe those places have slightly nicer finishes of material but considering Andu is almost half the cost, having a small mark on a wall is fine. Especially as everything you touch, tables, towels, sofa, shower, bed, floor are always super clean. There are some general stores next door and the also sell fruit. Coffee shop opposite and a whole street of restaurants opposite. The design of the public areas is great. Many hotels cheap out on this but it shows a level of care that this place had which is nice. Rooms are designed well with chargibg points each side of the bed. Good lighting and blackout curtains In our smaller room, there was a smell when you step into the room. But once you enter, after a moment, the smell is gone. If you can get a bigger room, the one with bath, it's nicer. Great service. every staff member greets you, helps with luggage, very attentive.

We truly enjoyed our stay at YangZhou State Guest House. We planned to stay one night, but ended up staying 3 nights because this place was so beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable; the people at the front desk were warm and helpful. We highly recommend this place,and will come back to stay again.

It’s not the cheapest option but you are paying for convenience and a hotel well above basic standard. For those traveling and don’t know any mandarin, this won’t be a problem. Friendly staff, nice rooms (balcony is a strange design flaw I have to admit). Be brave and enjoy the Chinese food. Much nicer than the Western options

The hotel is amazing and very clean. The staff especially the receptionist is very helpful. He is very cute too. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to the visitors and holiday goers in Suzhou. Lastly, I love the ambiance of the hotel. It has Chinese architecture which makes your stay extra special and i will not forgot their delicious breakfast too.

We had an amazing stay at Evergrande! The property is huge and picturesque! We enjoyed the breakfast option and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the amenities, and the location by the beach is perfect! The views are absolutely breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, some of the facilities are deteriorating and old. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

The hotel room is very large and very suitable for a couple. It has a kitchen and washing machine which were very convenient for us as we travelled around for a few weeks. Next to the hotel is a shopping mall where you can find anything. The metro station is also directly next to the hotel. Overall we liked our stay

This hotel exceeded our expectations! We got there late at night and they were very fast with the check-in. The room was lovely and very clean. It got better in the morning as we were able to explore the hotel with sunlight and the gardens and pool are beautiful!! 😍 After an amazing breakfast with a lot of food variety, we enjoyed the haifu experience included in the package. The staff allowed us to borrow two costumes and it was fun! A special mention to Song Hao. He was very nice and helpful. When we checked-out they drove us to the Giant Buddha. Everything in this hotel was 10/10! Hopefully we will come back one day!
