I've stayed here a few times now, and each visit has been consistently great 🏹. The environment is really quiet, and the decor is quite elegant, which always puts me in a good mood 🌿. All the facilities are comprehensive and feel quite new, making them very convenient to use đŸ› ïž. What I'm most satisfied with is the cleanliness; it's meticulously maintained, making for a very comfortable stay đŸ§Œ. From the moment we arrived, our stay was truly exceptional. What stood out immediately was the staff—every single person we encountered, from the front desk team to the housekeeping crew, was genuinely friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was, without a doubt, a major highlight. It was far beyond typical hotel fare—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty. They offered a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, inner Mongolian buuz, Mongolian milk tea and made-to-order hot dishes. It was the perfect, delicious start to every morning. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable, ensuring we had a peaceful night's sleep. This hotel offers amazing value and service, and we can't wait to return!

I never expected to find a family room in Hailar that was better than any family-friendly hotel in East China. It wasn't some flimsy tent bunk beds, but rather a whole room custom-made with super heavy timber, and there were even Mongolian-themed picture books. It was full of surprises! The entire hotel was excellent. In the evening, I met up with a friend for a drink at the rooftop bar and even saw the sunset over the Yimin River. Although I didn't get to see the green grasslands, this hotel is definitely the top spot in Hailar, and the location is superb. For breakfast, the Buryat dumplings were handmade by an auntie, and there was also lamb leg – absolutely delicious. Breakfast alone could easily pass for lunch. I will definitely come back in the summer!

This is an established star-rated hotel with an impressive exterior and a beautiful lobby. The location is excellent, right in the city center. Just a few minutes' walk to the right brings you to MixC City, where you can find everything for dining, entertainment, and shopping. There's both above-ground and underground parking, making it very convenient if you're driving. The front desk staff, especially one of the young men, provided excellent service. Check-in was quick, and he even proactively asked if I was driving so he could register my license plate for free in-and-out access. The room was spacious, the hardware facilities were well-maintained, and the hygiene was exceptional. Daily cleaning was also very prompt. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, featuring Inner Mongolian specialties like shaomai, milk tea, and lamb offal soup, along with a variety of fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The decor feels like the best you can find in Erdos. The service and amenities are also excellent. It's really close to the musical fountain square, so if there's an event, you can just walk a short distance and avoid the crowds. Plus, the full smart home system is amazing – perfect for people like us who love to relax in the hotel. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit~

room was clean and spacious. No complaints here. Checking in and out worked smoothly. But 2 things I have to complain about: 1) I have no idea why some people say the breakfast is great. For me and my wife it was terrible. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had. Yes, they have a lot to offer. But somehow they make everything taste cheap and ”weird”. I ended up eating some dry bread with jam, because I couldn't eat anything else. I suspect that they don't cook by themselves, but buy some cheap readymade food and sell it as ”fresh”. Also, the breakfast still looks exactly the same as the pictures from more than 6 months ago. No change at all 2) no option to clean the clothes is ridiculous. I have no problem to pay or wash by myself but both they didn't allow me to do. I never saw this before. All in all it's not bad. If you don't care about the breakfast and don't want to wash your clothes, this hotel might be for you. The rooms are good and the service also very nice (apart from ”you can guess” the breakfast staff)

The room was spacious and the kids loved it, but the front desk service was really subpar. When I asked questions, they answered impatiently and seemed to look down on me, lacking any service enthusiasm. On the other hand, the ticketing service was quite good; they actively verified information, offered service, and even proactively introduced photo services for activities. Housekeeping was also excellent and generally met all our requests. The worst part was the breakfast. For a five-star hotel, eating at communal round tables with strangers, and with no one clearing plates promptly after guests left, was appalling. Half the table would be covered in dirty, leftover dishes, while the other half was the spot we finally managed to find. The food standard was very poor, not even reaching five-star quality; I'd say it wasn't even three-star. Food items weren't refilled in a timely manner, so we had to wait for almost every dish. In the end, we spent about an hour at breakfast, and I left still hungry, just walking away out of frustration because we waited for about 50 minutes.

We had to change rooms because we found an insect. To make matters worse, while getting settled, I accidentally scalded my arm with hot water while preparing tea. A staff member kindly provided some ointment, but it was still quite painful. The new room, unfortunately, was on an upper floor facing the main road and lacked proper soundproofing. We could hear traffic noise throughout the night, which is far from ideal for light sleepers or elderly guests sensitive to noise. Adding to our troubles, the strip lights in the room couldn't be turned off. It was too bright to sleep, and despite not wanting to bother anyone late at night, I had to call an engineer again to fix it. We were told the ballast was broken. It was just one thing after another! As a gesture, they waived the charges for our drinks and water, amounting to over 40 yuan. Honestly, I wasn't looking for compensation; I just felt completely worn out, physically and mentally, after the injury and all the accumulated hassles. This was our experience. To be fair, despite these specific issues, our overall stay wasn't entirely bad. Bugs can appear anywhere, and thorough pest control might prevent them. However, lights shouldn't be faulty, especially in a hotel. Perhaps this Wanda property is getting a bit old. (The attached photo was taken on the third day. I hadn't initially planned on writing a review, which is why I didn't take pictures of the issues as they occurred.)

Let's start with the positives: The overall service, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, was quite good. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The room was spacious, and it even had a bathtub. Now for the negatives: There was only one duvet per room, with no extras, just a blanket. This isn't a huge issue, but the next morning, I woke up with fresh red bites all over my body and arms. I just wanted to report this to the hotel, but then 2-3 people came up, supposedly to solve the problem, and immediately asked, ”Did you go to the grasslands? These must be mosquito bites. Our duvets are disinfected, so there shouldn't be any problem.” I was speechless. First, we had just arrived in Hailar and hadn't even been to the grasslands yet. Second, if the bites were above my waist, would mosquitoes really bite me while I was under the covers? Do you change the duvet inserts for every guest? They wouldn't admit there was a problem and instead tried to push the blame onto the customer. It would have been better if they hadn't sent anyone at all. We didn't make any further demands; we just checked out and left.

TTianhenlan@The hotel offers a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city, with convenient transportation and a variety of restaurants right outside. The hotel's dining hall is also quite good; the roasted lamb chops and West Lake beef soup are worth trying. The breakfast is plentiful, and the homemade yogurt is a must-try.

YYaoxiaoyiThe hotel breakfast was fantastic, offering a rich spread including Mongolian milk tea, yogurt, lamb offal soup, and various dairy products. They even provide complimentary 'goodnight milk.' The front desk staff were very welcoming. During the May Day holiday, there were many weddings being held here. The hotel is surrounded by Inner Mongolia University campuses. It's about a 15-minute drive from Hohhot Railway Station and roughly the same distance to Dazhao Temple.

ZZhoujinchenThe room was pretty good. This seemed to be the cheapest room type with a bathtub (and complimentary bathtub liner). They offer a free extra bed for kids. Even with the extra bed, we could still open our 28-inch suitcase. I saw the cheapest room without a tub, and it was indeed too small. The hotel facilities are excellent, with lots of entertainment options, including sports, arcade games, and a kids' playground. Sandboards and sand toys are also provided. The outdoor splash pool is large and beautiful; it would probably be great for swimming in the summer. Although the hotel is massive, they have a mini-train service for transfers, which the kids absolutely loved. Even during the May Day holiday when the hotel was full, we didn't have to wait too long for transfers. The food variety changed quite a bit over our two-day stay, so we didn't get bored. Drinks are free-flowing on the ground floor lounge and third floor, so basically, besides shopping, you don't need to spend any other money here. I personally felt that the quality and variety of dishes were better when there were more people. Most of the staff provided excellent service, especially the front-door staff. They were always friendly and helpful when we came and went, proactively assisting with anything we asked. They truly are the face of the hotel! Downsides: 1. The hotel was a bit warm. We were told the air conditioning couldn't cool at the time in the room. It only got less hot when we left the curtains open and let the sun in. The restaurants and other areas weren't very cool either. I wonder if it cools down in the summer; it might be unbearable for people sensitive to heat. 2. During the May Day holiday, there seemed to be too many part-time staff who clearly lacked pre-job training, especially in the restaurant! During dinner, a young server dropped a bowl while clearing dishes. I watched as the oil splattered all over our table, and the clothes of my family members sitting nearby got oil spots all over their backs. Two or three girls picked up the bowl and continued clearing the table, completely disregarding whether anyone around them had been splashed. I didn't even receive an apology. When I saw my family's backs, I realized the food on the table must have been contaminated, and I instantly lost my appetite. I asked the server, ”You splattered us, shouldn't we at least get an apology and a wet wipe to clean up?” The server said she also got splashed, which is why she didn't realize. I feel this isn't the kind of service I should expect from a hotel that costs over 5,500 yuan per night. If only I had received an apology immediately after the bowl dropped, I would have said, ”No worries!” 3. The dry-wet separation shower stall had no place to put clothes. If the children were older, it probably wouldn't be suitable to share the same room, as showering would be inconvenient.

AAnonymous UserThe Sheraton Hohhot is perfect for both business trips and vacations! It's a well-established five-star hotel right in the city center, making the location super convenient. It's really close to Dazhao Temple and Wanda Plaza. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows on the higher floors offer an amazing view of the Daqing Mountains and the city lights at night. The breakfast features local specialties like lamb offal soup and milk tofu. They also have a gym and a swimming pool, and the service is attentive. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

Wwfr0123Location & Transport: The hotel was easy to find and well-situated. The lobby is spacious and comfortably decorated, and the Tang Dynasty horse statues look festive! đŸ„°đŸ„° Room View: The room layout was a bit odd, not a standard shape, which I haven't encountered before. The room itself was very warm. Room Facilities: It seems the decor is a bit older, as the toilet isn't a smart one, and the seat felt really cold in winter. However, they did provide disposable toilet seat covers, which was a laugh! 😂😂 The TV was quite small, but having a humidifier was excellent, otherwise it would have been far too dry. Service: Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were great – very friendly and enthusiastic. They responded promptly to all requests, and the room amenities and water were generously stocked.
