The road to the hotel is too rugged, 5 minutes to open for 5 minutes, the hotel can be said to be the best memory of this trip, specially intended for the New Year, not to look forward to this. The hotel service did not have to say that Ctrip reservations did not include meals, and the hotel included dinner and breakfast. The heritage Kandalama Hotel is in the heart of the Gungal near a lake. The hotel was designed with consideration and respect for the environment, the animals that live there and the nature that surrounds the hotel. The room is cozy and well-equipped and includes a balcony overlooking the jungle. The infinity pool overlooks a lake where elephants and birds stay. We received a pleasant welcome from the hotel staff. The dining room is immersed in green and the breakfast is great. We received excellent service and personal attention from the entire staff at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel without luggage and they made sure to coordinate the arrival of the luggage for us. We liked Nalinda the kind guide from the hotel who took us on a morning tour and since then we became friends. Nalinda took care of our well-being even after we left the hotel. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay. Definitely recommended for those who want to rest and relax in a dreamy place.

Booked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. Returned the difference to me, very good hotel, added points for my trip to Sri Lanka, thanks

I stayed at Jinling for two nights and it was quite good. The hotel is located on a hillside. The scenery outside the window is very beautiful. The temperature is several degrees lower. It often rains. It is very close to the Pink Post Office and the Governor's Palace.

We really enjoyed this establishment and were able to enjoy our last moments in Sri Lanka until the end thanks to a late check-out :) All the staff are attentive, accommodating and efficient! The buffet is varied and suitable for several types of palates. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The BIG plus of this hotel is the magnificent swimming pool which is at an ideal temperature!

The hotel has a great sense of design, and the balcony of the hotel has a very beautiful view. The hotel has a large terrace, and a wedding was being held on the day we went there, which was filled with happiness and joy. There are lawns and big trees on the large terrace of the hotel, and you can also see the mountains in the distance. The service is friendly, American style, the swimming pool is large and clean, and there are not many people swimming. On the way to swim, I also saw a garden, which looked like a secret garden in the morning light. The food is very affordable and delicious, and the breakfast variety is super rich. It is the most cost-effective hotel in this trip to Sri Lanka.

The Sigiriya Hotel at the foot of Lion Rock is the biggest surprise of this trip. The price of less than 600 is very cost-effective. First of all, the service. The hotel staff have very good attitudes. They will give us freshly squeezed juice when we check it out, and they also take the initiative to help us connect to the hotel WiFi. The view of the hotel is great, and there is a small yard outside the balcony. There are singers playing and singing in the lobby in the evening, and the atmosphere is very good. If you are going to Lion Rock, it is highly recommended to stay here.

The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.
