I spent the first night in a standard room on the second floor and then moved into a suite with a friend. The standard room was cozy and had a balcony facing the forest so it was private, but the room was so musty I could barely stand the smell. They put an aroma oil burner in my room for me, so it helped temporarily mask the smell, but it’s embedded into everything. The staff are great. Then - moving to the suite was amazing. There was no smell and It was large with a great soaker tub, sofa, chez lounge and comfy bed! We had a great time by the pool bar as well. The pizza is good! But all other food is mediocre. The pad thai was disappointing; dry and needed more spice, sauce and some cilantro. The food is very overpriced. If people are paying that much, please make it worth it. Pad Thai is a local dish, so really should be much better. The pool is decent, but the whole thing is very shallow so it’s suited to kids mostly. Not much room to swim lengths. There is a shuttle to the beach and it’s nice, but the waves and rip tide can be quite dangerous. Overall I would stay in the suite again, but not the musty rooms.
i had a pleasant experience staying at lalynn! this hotel is very new so everything was clean. room was spacious and comfortable. bed was abit hard and the sheets were scratchy :(
location wise, not the best. 20mins away from the nearest beach (bangtao or nai yang). they have a shuttle bus but timings aren’t the best and it’s every 3h… wish the shuttle was more frequent because the earliest timing at 11am is kinda late to go to the beach, it’s hot by then.
service was great. they even celebrated my birthday for me as this was a bday trip
note: the AC turns off automatically when it detects that there’s nobody in the room so u have to endure the stuffiness of the room when u come back :/
free breakfast - congee was yummy, the other food was meh. pls change to REAL butter instead of margarine for ur toast
pool needs to be cleaned - lots of leaves sunk at the bottom of the pool.
overall a great stay! 4.5/5, they just need to work on the shuttle frequency. esp if you want a beachside holiday, then this hotel isn’t the most ideal. surroundings also have nothing; except for two supermarkets.
It was a lovely place. We stayed in the room with pool access. Great view as the picture, but the area is smaller than expected, but it was enough. Free cold drinks at the lobby, which you can get anytime. The location was about 15 minutes from the shopping centre. 2 nights stayed enough , and the room was a bit small for a long stay. There is nothing around us. Everything is 15 minutes away. It's worth the stay for the pool and the clear canoe. Very insta-worthy !!! Great for relaxation!

The territory of the hotel is beautiful, the view from the room is gorgeous. The room was a bit old but well maintained and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious 😋
I was disappointed with service and stuff attitude. Especially the security at this hotel. Very rude, keep on asking my room number everywhere, with a very disrespectful attitude, even when I walked with a bag from the room which literally says the name of the resort on it... I understand that they are doing their job but for the comfort of guests either the system should be changed or the attitude of this guys. I was not expecting to experience such a stressed vibes in a 5 star resort. When I just arrived to the hotel before I exit the car, the security guy literally screamed at me with question what's is my name, not letting me out of taxi.... I understood later that he wanted to check if I stay in the right wing, but man!! Attitude change and a smile would be much more welcoming!!! And while I was waiting for my check in time, I was walking around the resort to check it out, another security guy screamed at me with a question what's my room number, and of course I didn't know, he scared me with his angry look on his face and seemed like he wanted to kick me out of the territory of hotel. Until I explained the situation that I'm still waiting for a check in..... I don't know if I was just unlucky and something happened that day with the security department, but it was a horrible horrible welcome!!! That is not what you expect from this level of 5 star resort...

We have just finished a 5 night stay here. I was so impressed with how well kept the grounds were. All the staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful. From the ocean beach club staff members, to the other restaurants.
I like the idea of the little bus into the resort and not allowing other vehicles to enter, this makes it much quieter and safer. However it is a little tricky to collect deliveries, especially if you have children.
All the food we ate from breakfast, to lunch at the cafe karon, Andaman lounge & ocean beach club was very tasty, perfect portions and reasonably priced. I liked the allergens were all noted clearly on every menu, very detailed as my daughter has a dairy allergy so this was so helpful. The service at breakfast was wonderful, I travelled alone with my young daughter and “Punch” looked after us each morning, ensuring my coffee was non dairy milk. She even said to take some cereal and banana for the long journey for my baby. Very kind and considerate service thank you.
The bell boys were so helpful and efficient with the luggage even helping with the stroller. “Mea” and “Yos” particularly stood out with their polite and helpful service.
A couple of things to mention which can be improved.. the entrance to the Kids club has stepping stones so almost impossible to navigate with a stroller which was hard. And there isn’t a ramp so I either had to carry it down the stairs or leave it at the top in the sunshine. A ramp would be so much easier to help parents with younger children. The toilets next door to the kids club don’t have a baby changing table, the one near the pool does but would be helpful for those to have it too.
I absolutely loved the deluxe room we stayed in, it was perfect, I couldn’t fault it. The inside was the room was very safe for young children, the furniture wasn’t sharp or dangerous. The smart tv was great but would be even better to add Netflix as an app! The housekeeping staff were great, I don’t know if it was a coincidence but we were never disturbed by them and then after breakfast our room would already be cleaned, it was great timing and they were considerate of the makeshift bed guards I made and made it even safer for my daughter. One thing to note the balcony is not safe at all for young children as there are 2 huge gaps either side, so I couldn’t let my daughter even step out onto the balcony. I think this should be improved in every room otherwise a terrible accident could happen.
My daughter loved the kids club. I think maybe the kids club could be more interactive and that would bring more children to engage with the activities. The facilities, toys and staff are great but I don’t think the activities maybe are marketed right. We enjoyed the movie night twice whilst we were there but it was hard to find and we were the only ones there haha. I think maybe more activities in the evening would be great too even something so simple like a mini disco where kids can go to dance and listen to music.
Overall, I think the staff go above and beyond at this resort. I think they must have a really great management team as they all seem happy and friendly and attentive but not over the top or invasive. I look forward to seeing the finished renovations and visiting again in the future.

I recently stayed at Dinso Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff with delicious ice cream and refreshing hot towels — a lovely gesture that made us feel immediately at home.
We had booked a two-bedroom apartment with a garden view, and it was perfect for our group. The view was truly breathtaking, both during the day and at night. I highly recommend this room for families or groups of 3 to 4 people, as it offers plenty of space and a relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast at the resort was another highlight. It was varied, delicious, and thoughtfully arranged, with clear labeling of halal and non-halal options, which we really appreciated. The staff were always polite, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed — their hospitality added so much to the overall experience.
This stay was truly exceptional, and I would definitely return to Dinso Resort in the future. Highly recommended!

My stay at Le Meridien Phuket Mai Khao was fantastic! The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and activity. I enjoyed playing Muay Thai, working out at the gym, and spending time at the beautiful beach. The pool was a highlight—I stayed there for hours, soaking up the serene atmosphere. The daily massages were exceptional, especially the spa and poolside treatments, which left me completely rejuvenated. The staff were attentive, and the overall experience was luxurious yet comfortable. I highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a mix of adventure, relaxation, and top-notch hospitality. A truly memorable getaway!
I'm really looking forward to my stay in this tranquil location! I can already tell that the people are going to be absolutely fantastic, and I've heard amazing things about the breakfast. However, I’ll need to keep a few things in mind.
I’m curious to check out the room views; I’ve been warned that the front view of the ocean might be partially blocked and that you might only get a decent glimpse if you stand up. If I’m hoping for a clear ocean view, I’ll need to remember not to book a room with pool access but rather one with just a balcony. It seems like the better option might be the suite that offers a genuine front ocean view.
I also plan on being mindful about cleanliness during my stay. I’ve heard some concerns about hair in the beds, stained sheets, and bathrooms that might not be up to par. I'm hoping for a better experience, so I’ll certainly keep that in mind!

The hotel is very nice. Good breakfasts, nice rooms, interesting pool with nice area for rest, aqua fitness, happy hours at the pool bar, free bicycle for 2 hours every day, beach bag and sleeppers in the room.
Some minor issues: no lift to the family suite rooms (building block #5), BBQ buffet dinner on Saturday is not very interesting and well packed, bicycles are old and in not very good condition.

It a very nice hotel. Even though the design might be from 30 years ago, its very well maintained. We also enjoyed the beautiful breakfast buffet spread with locally grown salads. I hope we can return soon.

SSamuel HandWe had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our daughter loved the pool and loved playing in the 'Kids World'. The facilities are excellent, for example there is a good-sized gym with plenty of equipment, and a restaurant with lots of choice. The breakfast is delicious.
I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is also only a short walk away from the beach.
In the interest of balance, I would just like to mention a few things that could be improved upon.
1. The room did not look like the advertisement photos on the booking website. The staff were very helpful and added some things to make it a closer resemblance. However, the photo of the one bedroom family suite shows lots of toys and extra items in the room that are in fact not included. There is a bunk bed and a kids tent.
2. The local area is quite expensive. Due to there being no 7 eleven nearby and the northern part of Kamala being quite relaxed, the prices of things in the local shops are pretty high. I would advise to get a ride to the nearest 7 eleven as soon as you arrive and stock up on supplies!
These 2 things are small in comparison to the great things this hotel has to offer. We had an amazing time. We want to thank the staff for a lovely holiday!
AAmir JamaliWe stayed at Phuket Graceland Resort for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to the beach and within walking distance of local attractions. The facilities were excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket.

TThe KimHimA lovely hotel with excellent service. The check-in experience was delightful, thanks to Madmee, who was exceptionally kind, energetic, and welcoming—setting a great tone for the stay. The team members operating the golf carts were also outstanding, ensuring seamless transportation around the property.
The room was spacious but had a low decoration, and the design and furniture felt a bit dated. However, the cleanliness was impeccable, which made up for the aged interiors.
Breakfast was excellent, and I had one of the best Eggs Benedict dishes here. However, the service was lacking—staff were not very attentive and were often engaged in conversations with each other, including those from the kitchen team. On the bright side, used plates were cleared promptly.
Overall, it’s a good hotel, though it lacks a beach and is a bit far from town and local dining spots. Despite these drawbacks, the staff’s warmth and service make it a pleasant place to stay.
Xx3AppleeWe recently stayed at Kalima Resort with our 10-year-old daughter in early June 2025, and despite some challenges due to the rainy weather, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The resort's hilltop location offers stunning views, but it's worth noting that the steep slopes and stairs may make it less accessible for wheelchair users. Additionally, some corridors aren't sheltered, so you might get wet walking between buildings during rain.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Our twin-bedded room with a sea view and balcony was perfect for our family of three, and the bathtub was a hit with my daughter. The hotel staff were polite, friendly, and spoke excellent English.
The pool area was a highlight, with a pool bar offering breathtaking views of the sea. The buffet breakfast had a great selection, including halal and vegetarian options. The Italian food served in the afternoon and evening was delicious.
The resort's shuttle bus service to Patong shopping malls was convenient, taking just 10 minutes.
Overall, despite the slippery floors during the rainy weather, we found the stay to be comfortable and family-friendly. We'd definitely consider returning to Kalima Resort.
*Rating:* 4/5 stars (would be 5 stars if accessibility and sheltered corridors were improved)

KKea Raacool place but needs a renovation
service is good but the resort is so big and the shuttle cars can be late and you need those shuttle cars literally every-time you leave your room its a big resort.
the food is fine not bad there is a 24h market right in front of the lobby and atm machines even currency exchange machines
its a good choice if its your first time in phuket its actually a good location
AAnonymous UserI really loved the staff in this hotel. If you have problems, they are more than willing to help you 🥰❤️ just like the instance that my phone was left in the taxi. They called the taxi driver and brought it back to me. ❤️
I’ve never been disappointed, it’s really indeed a 5-star hotel experience 🥰🔥🥰
Thank you so much for the whole staff, really enjoyed my entire stay 🤩🤩🤩 keep it up guys ❤️
When I’ll be back in Phuket, I will definitely stay here 🎉
JJans muhdOne of the best hotel we ever stayed. View was spectacularly stunning overlooking the ocean. Wake up in the morning to see this view just lifted your day every day. We book the swimming pool access which was shared between 2 other rooms. Though a bit of hassle that you had to go up to another level to exchange for pool towels with cards given during check in. Also there's also a cafe suitable for romantic couples and good ambience. Room is clean and spacious and all the staff is very friendly. Overall, my family enjoyed staying here & it is worth your money staying at this hotel. THUMBS UP!
11+1Hotel was situated on a quiet stretch of a beach area. Great for travellers looking to get away from busy city life.
The in-house restaurants food was great paired with a nice sunset view, staff was also friendly and approachable.
2 things note:
- Hotel does not have lift and there are many stairways to get from rooms to restaurants/beach area.
- Rooms might have some insect due to close proximity to the beach area.
Overall it is a very nice stay with private beach and sea view pool area/bar to chill in for a day or two when in Phuket.
