The best hotel during my trip to China.
The room was clean, well-organized, and new.
The breakfast was excellent, delicious, and varied.
The staff were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day, and they offered me hot water upon arrival and turned on the heating before I entered the room. On the second day, they kindly helped me arrange a taxi. Small gestures, but very important.
By the way, I travel a lot and stay in a different hotel almost every day, but I truly felt the need to thank this wonderful staff.
Mercure Hotels will always be my first choice.

Guest UserI stayed at the Funley International Hotel in Hefei's Economic Development Zone, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is very convenient, with Metro Line 7 providing direct access to the hotel. There are plenty of attractions and shopping malls nearby; Huizhou Garden and the Oceanarium are right next door. A two-stop metro ride gets you to Sam's Club, and the Zhengda Plaza and Zhonghuan City offer a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The front desk staff were warm and polite; they even offered bottled water on a hot day. The restaurant's food was delicious, and with three meals included in the room rate, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at.

SunsuntravelWe stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay.
Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease.
The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean.
One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations.
Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless.
The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination.
What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay.
In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. If you are traveling with family, visiting Jiuhua Mountain for the first time, or simply looking for a place where you can truly relax and feel supported, this is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality, worry-free experience.

Guest UserHuangshan Baiyun Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as an excellent accommodation choice on the mountaintop! ✨
Its location is simply unbeatable! It's just a 10-minute walk to Bright Summit (Guangming Ding), making it incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise. You don't have to rush there in the early hours, which is a huge relief, especially if you're traveling with elderly family members or children.
The entire hotel offers thoughtful and attentive service, and the staff are gentle and friendly. They patiently answer any questions you might have. After a tiring day of hiking, it's wonderful to return to the hotel and rest well. Given the difficulty of transporting supplies up the mountain, the facilities are quite good for a high-altitude hotel.
Opening the window in the morning allows you to feel the mountain breeze, and you avoid the hassle of going up and down the mountain repeatedly. If you want to leisurely enjoy the sunrise and sunset of Huangshan, staying here is the best solution. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan!

Guest UserThe vibe here is truly special! The owners put so much heart into running this place. The rooms are spotless, and the moment you step in, you just feel completely relaxed. In the evenings, they invite everyone to the lobby for tea and conversation, serving delicious tea snacks and fresh fruit. For two days straight, they gave complimentary special drinks to the kids and homemade millet wine to the adults. It felt just like visiting a friend's house, and the kids absolutely loved it. All the food was fantastic – purely handmade and organic. The water they served was mountain spring water, and the air was so fresh. On our last day, we joined the owner for a sunrise trip to the tea mountain. The sea of clouds was breathtaking, and it was wonderfully cool. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its warm hospitality. I'll definitely be back with my girlfriends next time. Wishing the owners all the best with their business, and a big thank you to all the staff for two days of thoughtful care! ^_^

Guest UserThere's a good reason why HONGCUN YINMO HOTEL has zero negative reviews – it's an excellent hotel! I stayed for two nights and genuinely believe it's the best hotel in Hongcun. The location, ambiance, cleanliness, and service all get a perfect score 💯. It's incredibly chic and spotless, with the room cleaning done exceptionally well; even the corners are clean and odor-free. The toiletries are comprehensive, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is a real comfort. The corridors are also very quiet, making for a truly peaceful stay. Plus, they offer beautiful traditional clothing for guests to wear for free for photos, which is a lovely touch! Upon check-out, they even gave us two local specialty pastries. I honestly recommend this hotel.

Zixinmami901208Facilities: This hotel looks particularly beautiful at night, creating a fantastic ambiance from the outside. I booked a terrace room, which had lounge chairs outside the door – super cool and absolutely dust-free. The room's hardware was excellent, with smart home features throughout, and the mattress was really soft. The king-size bed was so comfortable, even for three of us with a child. The only minor downside was the slight dripping noise when it rained at night, which might be due to the building's exterior design. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5/10.
Hygiene: The cleanliness was spot on, and there was no strange smell when entering the room, which made for a great experience.
Environment: It's close to nature, so you might encounter small insects, but the room provided mosquito repellent, so it wasn't an issue at all. Very good.
Service: The front desk service was excellent and very thoughtful. The staff proactively helped me with my luggage. My child loved the Huangshan shortbread at breakfast, and they even gave us some to take away – truly considerate! They also offered free hiking poles and maps, plus a free shuttle service to and from the South Gate. Everything was just perfect. It was a bit of a shame that it rained during our visit, but I've already made plans with friends to come back again when the weather is clear in autumn. We'll definitely book this place again.

I booked this hotel blindly, mainly to catch the sunrise and sunset, and it turned out to be much better than I expected. For sunset, the Starting-Belief Peak is only about a 20-minute walk from the hotel. It's also close to Danxia Peak, Monkeys Watching the Sea, and Clear and Cool Terrace. For sunrise, I chose the nearest Clear and Cool Terrace, which was just over a 10-minute walk away. The hotel's concierge, a lovely young lady, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She thoughtfully provided a foot-soaking tub and a small tea gift pack, which was a really nice touch. The hotel environment is also good – quiet and clean, and the staff are very prompt with cleaning. When the weather's good, they even air out the mattresses in the sun! They also kindly provide free down jackets and flashlights for guests to use when watching the sunrise and sunset, which is very helpful. Overall, the experience was quite good. I'll include some photos of the hotel and the sunrise/sunset I captured for everyone's reference. Choose as needed!

Guest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

For any hotel location is the key, and although this is located right by the amusement park and water park and chao lake. It doesn’t have good directions or take good care of the walkways to allow people to walk unhindered. A shuttle bus to local spots should be provided. Breakfast which they provided had a ton of options but all of them subpar. If they had only a few things but made well and delicious it would be much better. The air conditioner was the worst. It pushed out humid air and rarely cool enough to drop the room temperature. All over the hotel they have ads for their restaurant but when we asked about it, it was closed. If something is not available, you should not be advertising it. Considered false advertisement. If due to your false advertising I have to go somewhere else for dinner, you should at least pay for the cab fare.
Based on the hotel and the number of guests I saw I’m pretty sure you’re only putting guests in floor 8 and possibly floor 9. If that’s the case then each room should be meticulously cleaned. Ours didn’t have soap in the dispenser and was missing the conditioner completely. We were in a no smoking room, there was still a “do not smoke in bed” resin sign. Which was extremely dirty like no one’s cleaned it in weeks if not months.
There’s a cute robot you send up to deliver things. But it doesn’t know to wait for people to get off the elevator before getting on, causing a family of 4 with their luggage to be partly trapped by the robot for a few minutes.
I’ve had the opportunity to talk to a number of the staff and can see the lower occupancy and time has affected this establishment. But you can still do better.
