The best hotel during my trip to China.
The room was clean, well-organized, and new.
The breakfast was excellent, delicious, and varied.
The staff were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day, and they offered me hot water upon arrival and turned on the heating before I entered the room. On the second day, they kindly helped me arrange a taxi. Small gestures, but very important.
By the way, I travel a lot and stay in a different hotel almost every day, but I truly felt the need to thank this wonderful staff.
Mercure Hotels will always be my first choice.

The location is okay for concerts, about a 30-minute walk. However, there is construction nearby, which makes it noisy. The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

Environment: I live in this room, I eat fruit and drink hot tea while taking a bath at night. It is very comfortable. I can also do yoga in the cubicle in the morning. I can see the temple as soon as the curtains on both sides are opened. I feel the sense of sight of everything I have, especially happy. Playing with dogs in the restaurant, sitting in the restaurant can see the trees outside, the heart is very calm and quiet, very relaxed, feel nothing to think about, completely relaxed.
Service: The car picks up the car and sends it. The housekeeper is very good and has been helping me. The service is super intimate. I thought of things I didn't expect in advance. I responded promptly and gave a special detailed tour guide. All in all, it is warm and meticulous.
Facilities: The soap for washing hands is herbal, very fragrant and very like it. In addition, the bathtub of the homestay/hotel is used for the first time, because it looks very clean, there is a disposable bathtub cover and a small table next to it. There is a projector, you can find a housekeeper to log in to the member.
Hygienic: On the way to the airport, I heard the driver's master say that the accommodation on the mountain is relatively humid, but I didn't feel this at all this time, it was very comfortable.
It was a near perfect stay for me, thanks for everything here ❤

cathyling0The hotel's location is super convenient, perfect for families with kids exploring Nandaemun. The butler service here far surpasses that of a 5-star hotel. We received WeChat notifications for sunrise and sunset times, and in the morning, a guide even led us to Aoyu Peak to watch the sunrise. The guide also thoughtfully provided welcome fruits and local pancakes. They even considered offering massage chair service after hiking! When my child was too tired to walk after hiking, the butler immediately brought up a thoughtful shrimp fried rice. And upon checkout, they even gave us three bottles of water. To receive such thoughtful service at the top of Huangshan, where transporting supplies is so difficult, was truly touching.

KafeiguanI'd been longing to visit Huangshan for ages, and this time, my dream finally came true.
I arrived a day early, planning to head straight up the mountain, but I hadn't checked the cable car operating hours. So, I had to find last-minute accommodation at the foot of the mountain. Tangkou Town was packed with guesthouses along the streets, which felt a bit overwhelming. I decided to search for B&Bs on the outskirts of town instead and immediately fell in love with this one.
The pure white walls and bright, clean rooms gave the whole place a gentle, relaxing vibe. Many guests praised the auntie's cooking, so I booked it right away. My stay certainly didn't disappoint; both dinners were absolutely delicious – we polished off every dish. The taste was truly amazing.
The room was spacious and grand, and the owner even kindly upgraded my room for free. Opening the window, I faced a vast bamboo forest. The evening breeze rustled through the bamboo shoots, and sleeping to the gentle sound of the bamboo was incredibly soothing. There's a path behind the B&B that leads directly to the mountain entrance, and they even have their own tea garden. Before dinner, the owner unhurriedly set up a tea ceremony, explaining the three famous Huangshan teas in detail: the fresh and tender Huangshan Maofeng, the straight and long-lasting Taiping Houkui, and the mellow and rich Qimen Black Tea. There was also the unique Kuibai – made from Houkui fresh leaves using Qimen black tea processing, offering a distinctive flavor.
My favorite quote from the owner was: 'When guests arrive, I wholeheartedly take care of travelers from all directions; when I have free time, I make sure to enjoy myself.'
No rushed itineraries, no crowds – just stealing a half-day of tranquility at this bamboo forest teahouse. This is the beauty of slowing down at the foot of the mountain.

Guest UserAfter hiking Huangshan Mountain, the hotel even arranged a shuttle for us, and there's a charging station in the parking lot across the street. We were so exhausted from a day of climbing that we decided to have dinner at the hotel, and to our surprise, it was really delicious! The only minor drawback was that the room felt a bit damp, but otherwise, it was nearly perfect.

I booked this hotel blindly, mainly to catch the sunrise and sunset, and it turned out to be much better than I expected. For sunset, the Starting-Belief Peak is only about a 20-minute walk from the hotel. It's also close to Danxia Peak, Monkeys Watching the Sea, and Clear and Cool Terrace. For sunrise, I chose the nearest Clear and Cool Terrace, which was just over a 10-minute walk away. The hotel's concierge, a lovely young lady, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She thoughtfully provided a foot-soaking tub and a small tea gift pack, which was a really nice touch. The hotel environment is also good – quiet and clean, and the staff are very prompt with cleaning. When the weather's good, they even air out the mattresses in the sun! They also kindly provide free down jackets and flashlights for guests to use when watching the sunrise and sunset, which is very helpful. Overall, the experience was quite good. I'll include some photos of the hotel and the sunrise/sunset I captured for everyone's reference. Choose as needed!

Guest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

Guest UserService: The front desk staff upgraded our room, which made my parents and me very comfortable.
Environment: It's an old building, but the owner has great taste. Every corner is unique and charming. They also offer travel photography services; the first three shots are free, and you pay if you like them. I was in too much of a hurry, otherwise, I would have loved to take some proper photos.
Facilities: This place was probably part of the Huazhu · SHE series before, and the overall facilities are quite good.
The security guards on Tunxi Old Street are so helpful; I asked for directions, and one of them directly guided me to the guesthouse.
The strength and weakness of this guesthouse is that it's a beautiful old building, purely wooden in structure. However, this wooden structure means it's not very soundproof. If you're a light sleeper, it can be a bit noisy.
