Very nice location - it is easy to reach the sights of Mainz and also to have a stroll along the river. During my stay there was some construction, that was not very pleasant. Also, make sure you are staying in the main building, or you will have to walk a long way with luggage... and help was not offered, although I had 2 suitcases. European hotel rooms tend to be small and drab - that was the case here too.

An undisputed five-star hotel. If you want to stay at a higher class hotel than the Dorint Hotel, this is the place to go.
There is a 996 race car at the reception, and you can enjoy a racing simulator and a bar.
A smoking lounge is available, and it is nice that you can smoke while sitting in a chair in a spacious space.
The *** attached to the hotel is mechanical, and first-time visitors can register as a member at the reception desk and enter. It is quite easy for beginners to get into, but it is still a little disappointing compared to the type with a dealer.
The view from the balcony is inferior to Dorint. If you try to see the GP course, you can't see it because the stands block your view, so if you want to see the cars, Dorint is better.

The hotel was overall very good and without any challenges. But staff always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, organisational and quantitatively not satisfied. The combination of cash and reception is innovative, but if this double area is occupied with only one person and in all cases waiting times are not negligible, there is a significant need for improvement. Breakfast with massive waiting cords, I have never experienced. That means the breakfast area is underdimensioned. The staff who are friendly and helpful despite overload is a light view of these organizational and constructive deficiencies.

”I didn't find the entrance and the resepshne immediately
-The pillows need to be changed, from them the pillow itself will come out, which is not very pleasant, the pillows are not very comfortable too
”The maid knocked at 08:40 a.m. I didn't weigh the plate, but I had a room for departure, did the Resident not give the information? I wanted to sleep still.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a sense of history. The room is very beautiful. The welcome wine sherry is delicious. The free drinks in the refrigerator cabinet are rich. The restaurant breakfast is very good. Lunch and dinner are also recommended to try in the restaurant. The dishes are very good. I ate the local snail with dry white, delicious! The hotel has its own garden and can take some sunset photos. The location is on the mountain. If you need to take a taxi or drive by luggage, it is a bit far to take the winding mountain drive. Backpackers can take the small road and climb the mountain for about 15 minutes. Although it is hard, it is still worth living.

GGuest UserService was absolutely first class from email contact before arrival, help with a luggage issue upon arrival , checking out, and everything in between. All staff were really lovely and helpful and always smiling!
Food was perfect and the restaurant staff were really engaged with us, recommending items from the menu and perfect wine to accompany the food. Prices were very reasonable too.
This was my second trip to the Mercure in Koblenz and I will definitely be back. Even as a lone female traveller, I felt very comfortable which is a huge benefit to enable enjoyment of the whole trip.

GGuest UserHotel booked without breakfast, nice view of Mosel. Public transport is nearby, so you can get to the city without a car. The hotel is a bit old, but we always like coming back. Above all, you can choose from different pillows. Unfortunately no coffee machine in the room, but if you like hot powder (granulated) coffee, this is the place for you

SSJRhianaOverall, it was a pleasant stay for us, and we enjoyed the sunset on our diner with the view of the rhein at their restaurant. Breakfast was fine with lots of variety foods. Evening walk along the Rhein by the hotel make it more romantic. And at the pool, it was warm in the room but still nice to swim.

GGuest UserThe room is old but it doesn't matter. It was cleaned very well and the toilet was clean too. But the heating was not very hot and it was a bit cold. The room was very big so it was even colder... Finally I used the heating lamp to warm myself up by the bed and it got better.

FFliFlaI go to this hotel whenever I have the change. It’s not only very conveniently located, but the staff is so kind and warm it makes it an extra pleasure to stay there. Breakfast is very good and the overall envió and vibe of the hotel is superb. Highly recommend!

There is no air conditioning in the room, which is a flaw for people who are afraid of heat.
