Very beautiful and suggestive location. Surrounded by greenery, in an ancient villa divided into three buildings. The villa also offers a swimming pool and relaxation areas. Things to improve: 1) Undoubtedly the breakfast. Even if well stocked, the quality and especially the freshness of certain products (especially the sweet compared to the salty) definitely leaves something to say. 2) The swimming pool is small compared to the number of guests, a problem that is more evident in August. It could also offer more essential services (the absence of changing rooms and a bathroom) 3) Greater attention to detail, what you would expect from a 4-star structure.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance of the train station and most city attractions, and there are some really great small restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. You can tell the hotel is new, with thoughtful bilingual signs everywhere. The self check-in and check-out process is also very reasonable. The front desk is integrated with the bar and is open 24 hours. The staff there spoke the best English I encountered during my entire trip to Italy.

I had a wonderful stay, in the area of Rome where I wanted. Everything was great, good view, friendly staff and nice room Only thing I could fault was I had 1 pillow, and I like to have two. Probably could have rang for another , but everything was great.

Hotel lobby and room were very clean. Breakfast was good with varieties, but still wish to have more choices in food. Room was well maintained, very comfortable, and modernized. Our group of friends did enjoy the complimentary cocktail drink and the lounge area for a small gathering. Hotel is very convienient to main streets and safe.

Excellent Location with lots of shops around. Roma Termini is just around the corner. Buses in front of the Hotel. All the attractions are 20/30 min walking distance. Vatican was bearby too. Breakfast had good choices with fresh fruits and Fresh Real Honey. Staff was helpful. All over it was a good choice with reasonable price. Will recommend to friends and family.

The hotel’s location is excellent—only a 7-minute walk from the train station, and most of Rome’s must-see sights are within about 20 minutes. If you want to stay in the center of everything, this place is a great choice. However, the service was a nightmare. The elevator is almost a joke: maximum 2 people, extremely slow (luckily my room was on the 2nd floor). Maybe it’s cultural differences, but the staff here were the rudest I’ve ever experienced. My flight from Nice to Rome was canceled, which meant I lost a night at the Hive. I called to ask for help canceling that night—it wasn’t my fault for not showing up—but both Trip.com and the hotel staff were completely unhelpful. Very disappointing and frustrating. My room was close to construction, non-stop noise over the night. Bottom line: the location is great, but don’t expect any favors or kindness from the hotel. When you’re already stressed, their cold and unfriendly attitude will only make things worse.

This is a great hotel that has many amenities which include a large breakfast buffet option, a large gymnasium. and a bar on the main level with a pool table. The shower never ran low on hot water nor pressure and a Lavazz Espresso machine was inside the room with a large TV, safe box, a mini refrigerator,a wardrobe closet, and an excellent blow dryer which delivered uninterrupted high heat. The staff were kind and upon requests were helpful to include arranging for a private driver to the airport for a competitive cash price. I look forward to returning again in the future.

The hotel is located in the charming Prati district, a pleasant and well-positioned setting. The reception staff were particularly warm and professional. The room, although simple, offered all the space needed for a comfortable solo stay. I also enjoyed the hotel's restaurant, where the food was excellent. A must-visit for a stay in Rome.

FFilipinaTravelerA great location which is near to Termini station in Rome. You can basically go around Rome from this hotel for its convenient location. Our room is good enough, two single beds put together and there was also an extra bed which we did not expect but all good. The bed and pillows are soft enough and the AC is cool enough for a hot summer in Rome. The amenities inside are basic but enough for our needs. Great for a quick 2 or 3 days in Rome and it is not expensive at all.

DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house. I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

בבלVery clean, good location, didnt leave drinking water for wellcome but you could buy from the minibar 2.5 euro per small bottle. We asked for Iron and ironing board and they are not providing to consumers. You can pay per item for ironing services and wait 1.5 hours to get it ironed.

AAnonymous UserTraveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou people next to the subway station. Occasionally, you can adjust your stomach. It is not expensive and quite authentic. I went out to play in Pompeii for a day, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. The service was also very good. It will still be my first choice next time I come.

ННаталья ЮровскихThis is a very good hotel! Everything was spotless, and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The location is super convenient, with the metro, bus stops, and the train station all within easy reach. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants right around the hotel. Breakfasts were delicious, and daily housekeeping kept the room fresh. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

PPerma FortunaWas welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.
