I had to choose this hotel near Nagoya Station during the F1 season because there were no other options, but it turned out to be surprisingly convenient and comfortable: a 1500 yen taxi ride to Nagoya Station; a 7-Eleven right downstairs; Patagonia just across the main road; a 6-minute walk to Nagoya Tower & Hisaya Odori Park; 8 minutes to Kato Coffee; and 15 minutes to Montbell/Mitsukoshi Department Store/LACHIC. The room was tiny with no closet, making it difficult to store luggage, but all other facilities were fine. The public bath on the 14th floor and the breakfast on the 2nd floor were delicious, especially the udon noodles, hitsumabushi (three ways to eat eel), red bean toast, and siumai.

Guest UserThis hotel is conveniently located on the 15th floor of Nagoya Station Gate Tower Mall. Floors 9-10 house Bic Camera, and Uniqlo and GU are on the 11th floor, making shopping incredibly easy. There's also a popular restaurant on the same floor that often hosts lively events. You'll even find a pharmacy and convenience store on the same level.

Had a wonderful 4-night stay at The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Nagoya. The hotel is beautifully designed, modern, and spotless, with a stunning city view that made the experience even more memorable. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to Sakae Station, shopping, dining, and nearby attractions, which made exploring Nagoya very easy.
My room was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the hotel, from the elegant lobby to the practical facilities in the room. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and their service made our stay feel smooth and pleasant. I also enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants and a Blue bottle cafe in the building, which added a lot of comfort to the overall experience.
Overall, this was an excellent choice for my trip to Nagoya, and I would happily stay here again!!!

Extremely convenient! Location is the best- Did not have to wake up extra early for our flight. Next time, we will do this again!
Cleanliness can be improved but not too shabby.
Toilet and bathroom are separate, good for family to use.
Food is no issue as kombinis are in the airport. Coffee machines at the lobby. Easy access.
Spacious enough for a family of 4!

Guest UserMy second time staying at this hotel. It is very convenient for travelers who take public transportation— taxi stop, bus stop, Kintetsu, Meitetsu and JR all within short walking distance on the same side of the road. Louis Vuitton, Dior just one block on the left across the road. Takashimaya also within short walking distance.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel made our family trip in Nagoya a complete disaster. We booked for two adults and two children. At check-in, the staff said our booking only allowed four people and refused to let my husband even step into our room to help us unpack — even though he wasn’t planning to sleep there that night!
I explained, again and again, that we were traveling as a family and were more than willing to pay extra for one more person. But the staff kept repeating the same rule with zero flexibility or empathy. My husband had no choice but to book another hotel for the night, leaving me and the kids alone for what was supposed to be a happy family holiday.
The next morning, things got worse. They continued to treat us coldly and wouldn’t allow my husband to enter, even just to help with the luggage. After so much stress, I decided to check out early—losing one night’s payment—because I simply couldn’t stand how heartless and unaccommodating they were.
Only when we were packing to leave did they suddenly offer to “upgrade” us to a larger room for extra money. But by that point, the damage was already done.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in Japan and always admired the hospitality here, but this was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. They showed no kindness, no understanding, and no respect toward families. I strongly urge anyone traveling with family to avoid this hotel.

Guest UserThe environment is great, the front desk service is attentive, and the hotel is clean with a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Housekeeping cleans daily and doesn't mess with your belongings, which is a big plus! It offers good value for money, is close to shopping malls, and convenient for the subway station.

Vicky CaiThis hotel is super convenient, just about a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station, which is perfect if you're catching a JR train. Downstairs, there's an Ichiran Ramen, a convenience store, and an underground shopping street, so you don't have to worry about bad weather when you're out and about. The room itself is a bit small; it was a tight squeeze to open two large suitcases. However, the yukata (robe) was really comfortable, and they even have a public bath, so it really has everything you need (you can also grab face masks at the front desk).

Anonymous Userwonder there are only 2 elevators for a 13-floor hotel, it’s a long waiting at anytime and it stops almost every floor which makes a in/out about 3-4 mins.
The room air conditioner control is only japanese language, not a user friendly one.
A 10/F window room but completely no view due blocked by an external cover, really didn’t expect it’s like a window room was nothing to see.

Ling515We specifically chose this hotel for LEGOLAND, and the room was spacious enough. The kids loved the treasure chest game. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and the food was quite good. The location is excellent if you're visiting LEGOLAND, but it's a bit too far if you plan to go anywhere else, which is why we later moved to a hotel closer to Nagoya Station. The room was very clean, and the service was typical Japanese standard. There are a few restaurants nearby where you can have dinner.
