It's been over 10 years since I last visited Osaka, so I specifically booked this hotel nearby. I chose it based on the price, ratings, and reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint – it exceeded my expectations! It offers incredible value for money. It's only a 5 to 8-minute walk from the busiest part of Shinsaibashi. The facilities are very new, and the service is excellent. The room facilities were better than I expected, and I was lucky enough to be assigned to the top floor, so the view was incredibly open and bright. If I could stay on the top floor again next time, that would be absolutely wonderful.

Location is perfect. Breakfast was perfect. Lounge would be better with more food varieties but they had a lot of drinks options including sake, champagne, wine and beer on top of the usuals which was great. One thing i didnt like is that their rooms are super tiny. We got a triple room and it was so tight. Next maybe two doubles is required for more space. Another disappointment is that they don't provide lotion which i think is a basic amenity. And that every certain hours of the night 10-ish -2am (everyday) you can hear super noisy motorcycles revving in the main street randomly. (I guess that's not directly their fault buy maybe they could opt for a more soundproof window or something.)

The location is undeniably lively and perfect for first-time visitors to Japan or Osaka. It's super convenient for transport, with popular spots like Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori just a few minutes' walk away. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and plenty of restaurants, eateries, and izakayas in the vicinity. The hotel front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are mostly Southeast Asian, and they can communicate in both Japanese and English. Overall, the facilities and environment were fine during our three-night stay, but the cleaning service was unlike anything I've encountered in Japan before. There wasn't a magnetic 'please clean' sign to put on the door for room service or linen changes. I had to go to the front desk to specifically ask for cleaning, and they replied that they just replace towels and empty bins daily at 11 AM. And that's exactly what happened – there was no further cleaning, and the bedspread wasn't tidied. This is something I really wasn't happy with.

I had a wonderful stay at Premier Hotel Cabin President Osaka. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. We needed help sending my luggage to Tokyo via Sagawa, and the staff handled everything smoothly and professionally. A very special thank you to Tsujimoto and Echigo, they were incredibly kind, patient, and efficient. They explained the process clearly and made sure my luggage was safely arranged, which gave me great peace of mind. Their hospitality made my trip so much easier. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I m very happy with the choice for my stay in Osaka. Initially I booked the Welina East because they got 1 full bed and I wanted 1 full bed as I don’t really enjoy twin beds at all! But, reading the comments, everyone said better to book Welina West because is new and they got sauna. Haha. So, because I m crazy about sauna I rebooked to the second Welina that has sauna and only twin beds available. I ve asked at reception if they don’t have 1 full bed and they said they got only twin. How’s possible a hotel to have only twin beds? This is first time I hear such thing. Anyway, my stay was still great even if I almost fell out of bed twice:)) the sauna is great but the hot pool at ladies at least it can be more maintained as I ve seen a whole big black hair floating around and wasn’t pleasant at all. All rest is lovely. And.. would be nice if they got a tea option on request also, not only coffee. On the same street you got enough options for breakfast lunch and dinner and also a beautiful rose park at 5/7 minutes away.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, conveniently situated close to the main shopping street and many of the city’s key attractions, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Public transportation is very accessible, with the metro station just a short walk away. From there, it takes only two stops to reach the JR line that connects directly to the Airport Express, which is extremely convenient for arrivals and departures. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. The breakfast offers a good variety of options and provides a satisfying start to the day. The hotel amenities are well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, ensuring guests have everything they need. The room itself was clean, well-kept, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the excellent shower facility, which was modern, spacious, and very enjoyable to use after a long day of exploring. Overall, the hotel delivers a high standard of comfort and convenience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I specifically chose this hotel for the ARASHI concert in Osaka. The location is truly excellent. Osaka OCAT is right below the hotel, offering buses to Osaka's two major airports, Tottori, Tokushima, Takamatsu, and more. It's about a 50-minute ride to Kansai Airport. The hotel's basement has JR, Osaka Metro, and Hanshin lines. It's a 10-minute walk to Namba Takashimaya Department Store and the surrounding shopping streets, and a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi Daimaru Department Store. There are many restaurants in the hotel's underground mall, and a supermarket on the first floor of the adjacent building where you can shop and get tax refunds. The hotel lobby and restaurant have a Western classical decor, and there's even a small chapel. I saw a wedding taking place there on the day I checked in. However, the room decor is a bit old and simple; the single room size isn't small for a Japanese hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 22nd floor, and guest rooms are from the 24th to 31st floors. Each floor entrance requires a room card to access the corridor, which is a good security feature. My room was on the 29th floor, with an average view – facing another guest room. On a side note, the sheer curtains in the room are very transparent. If you have the lights on at night with only the sheer curtains drawn, people in the opposite rooms can see inside, as I unintentionally experienced myself 😅. The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety and excellent quality, including Japanese and Western dishes, desserts, ice cream, and fruits, even watermelon and cherries. The breakfast restaurant on the 23rd floor has an excellent view; the last two photos are taken from there. My only dissatisfaction during this stay was the hotel's service. Most guests at the hotel were Caucasian, with some Koreans and people from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. It was noticeable how enthusiastic the hotel staff were towards Caucasian guests, and how indifferent they were towards Chinese guests. I wouldn't call it discrimination, but more of a perfunctory, by-the-book service. On the first day at breakfast, after scanning my room card, I was told my booking didn't include breakfast. I informed the staff that my reservation did include it; after a phone confirmation with the front desk, it was indeed included. To my surprise, the same issue occurred again on the second day. I'm unsure if the breakfast information wasn't entered into the system during check-in or what caused this recurring problem. Why wasn't the dining information updated after the first day's incident? Crucially, throughout both interactions, I didn't sense any apology from the hotel staff. However, the housekeeping staff were quite enthusiastic; they would actively greet me in the hallway and step aside to let me pass first.

This is a relatively new hotel, opened in 2022. The location is very easy to find, and the lobby has self-service kiosks for check-in and check-out, which is super convenient. Staff are also on hand to help. On the first floor, you can pick up toiletries, including facial cleanser and lotion, so it's very comprehensive. I specifically booked a larger room, which features a dry/wet separation design and plenty of space. The family room is fully equipped: four beds are perfect for a family of four, and there's ample space for luggage. There's a microwave, water glasses, wine glasses, and a refrigerator with both a freezer and a fridge compartment! The bathroom has double sinks, and there's even a washing machine and laundry detergent! The overhead shower is extra wide with excellent water pressure – showering is incredibly comfortable. There's also an iron and ironing board! It's so complete and wonderful! I will definitely stay here again. I saw they also have six-person rooms! Plenty of space if I bring my elders along too. 👍

Great value hotel with excellent transport access! This hotel is a bit way off Umeda or Namba but these places or anywhere else in Osaka can easily be accessed in a matter of minutes because the Taisho MRT station is just across it, making travel to any part of the city super convenient! You’d be greeted by a nice covered patio at the front, perfect while waiting for your Uber ride if you ever needed one, or just to spend some quiet time. You can also use their lobby where you can find a drinking station (coffee, tea, anyone?) Rooms are pretty spacious in Japan standards, though all amenities can be had at the reception. The toilet & bathroom were decent & clean albeit a bit cramped. Of course, they use those amazing Japanese toilets! It also has a public bathroom, but I fell the public bath in capsule hotels are much better. A microwave is available in each floor. As mentioned, location is probably the best selling point of this hotel. Just across is the Taisho MRT, a few stops away is Umeda through the Osaka Loop Line, while Namba is a few minutes away with the Hanshin-Namba Line or the Nagahoritsurumi Ryokuchi Line. Bus stop is also very near. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and izakayas nearby. I wish I was able to try their breakfast but I had to try breakfast recommendations elsewhere. This is a strong 4/5 for me. Would stay here again if I’m in Osaka, it is highly recommended if you’re hitting Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Aquarium, and Expo 2025 Osaka!

Absolutely amazing! It's very quiet and the hotel's location is superb, just a few hundred meters from Osaka Station. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. The complimentary toiletries provided are excellent, and there's free afternoon drinks and coffee on the third floor. On the fourth floor, you can enjoy a free bath in the evening. The room has a fridge, and it's super affordable! Anyway, highly recommended! It's also kid-friendly; you can borrow picture books for free, and the slippers are adorable! 🥰 The service is excellent too, with both Chinese and English-speaking staff available!

CChangjiangdashayuThe main reason I booked this hotel is its unbeatable proximity to USJ. You literally walk out and in two to three minutes, you're at the park entrance. This gives you a huge advantage for morning queues, and if it gets too hot during the day, you can pop back for a break before heading out to play again in the afternoon. The second major point is that the rooms here are the biggest among the surrounding hotels. You don't feel cramped or squashed, unlike those 'sparrow hotels' you often find elsewhere in Japan. It feels much more spacious and comfortable. I didn't try the food at the hotel this time, but it looked pretty good. Plus, there's a shopping street right below the hotel, making it super convenient for both dining and shopping. Overall, big rooms and the best location are this hotel's biggest strengths. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to USJ.

PPAPI MARKLively Osaka was very cozy & very friendly staffs who all spoke decent English. Their hospitality was definitely one of the best I’ve been to in 🇯🇵 also a good size room for BIZ traveller (wish they offered 1 King instead of 2 twins). Bfast was acceptable but if u stay more then few nights might get tired of them since it’s the same daily! Overall was a nice experience & will for sure try their sister hotel chains in other cities!

GGuest UserI stayed at FL Hotel Dotonbori for two nights. When I arrived at Osaka Station, I was happy that the hotel was within walking distance, so getting there was very easy. The hotel is located slightly behind the main Dotonbori area, but it’s still close enough to walk to all the main attractions. The location is definitely convenient. When you enter the hotel, the amenities are placed in front of the reception, so you need to pick up whatever you need from the lobby before going up to your room. They provide pajamas, slippers, and other basic amenities. One nice thing is that they offer free breakfast every morning. It’s simple, just two pieces of bread per person and hot drinks, but it’s still a nice touch. Everything is set up in front of the reception, and you can take it back to your room. For me, there were a few downsides. I noticed a suspicious stain on the blanket on my bed. It wasn’t on the bedsheet itself, but on the blanket, which made me feel like housekeeping may have overlooked it. The room size is about average for Japan. I was able to fit three large suitcases in the room, but there wasn’t much walking space, so I had to step around them. Another issue is that the rooms are not very soundproof. Unfortunately, during my stay, my neighbors were quite loud at night, so that affected my sleep

KKanguowangdeyunThe room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although check-in at 3 PM was a bit late, it was great that they had luggage storage. The location is super convenient – it's just a 5-minute walk to the hotel from Shinsaibashi Exit 5. It's really easy to go shopping or access the subway from here. I've stayed here several times already.

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address. The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures. The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach. If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there. The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better. On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day. Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

HHshmetcaIf you're looking for a great hotel location I'd recommend the TOKYU Stay in Hommachi - it's a couple of minutes walk from the nearest train station which you can use as a hub to travel around Osaka. We stayed for four nights - the staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, the room had all the usual amenities, although a little on the small size (standard for Japan), it had a washing machine which we found really useful. The room was quiet, the only negative was the fact we were directly facing the road and only had one blackout blind which we felt we had to have rolled down all day so people could not see us. Overall it's a great hotel and definitely worth it if you need something easy without any bells and whistles.

GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second, upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.

GGuest UserThe room size is quite generous for a Japanese hotel, and the layout is well-designed, allowing for separate areas for relaxation and entertainment. It's very close to the airport with a nice view from the window. They even offer a free shuttle service for early morning flights. Plus, there's a supermarket and outlet mall nearby, making shopping very convenient.

HHuahuaのshijiehenmeihaoThis is my second time staying at this hotel in Umeda, and check-in was very smooth. The lobby is on the 19th floor, and all the guest rooms are above the 21st floor. Floors 13-16 have dining options at the LUCA department store, which is also a good choice. The hotel offers great views; you can see mountains in the distance, though the window was a bit blurry on a rainy day. Daimaru department store is right on the 1st floor. Umeda has four train stations, and you can take the Midosuji Line (M line) four stops to Shinsaibashi or Namba for 240 yen – great for shopping and dining. On my last day, the HARUKA train took about an hour to the airport. Overall, it's incredibly convenient.
