Very nice clean and new hotel. Not a bad location there are restaurants and bars close by but a little expensive. Found that next door had a great restaurant and cheap drinks and ate there 3 times , good service and good food [ pic provide of premises] . Hotel roof bar and pool was good but the host was not very welcoming, and it was expensive to drink . As in other reviews the bath tube shower experience is deadly

Stayed here for 4 nights, to start with the negative breakfast was horrible. Every morning it was the same alternating things which is understandable, however EVERY SINGLE breakfast there was hair in the food!! The same long black hair!! Disgusting. Also cockroaches crawling around the un covered food. Other than that, location is prime right next to the night market and down the street from 7-11 and a shopping mall. Pool was nice to lounge around, except closes at 730 and no loud talking permitted throughout the building passed noon, no big deal just sticklers.

Overall I liked the hotel. Location is around 10 min walk to the southern gate of the old city. The hotel provides a free shuttle/tuktuk to 2 of the old city gates. You can take it one way and then either walk back or take a cheap GRAB. Rooms and hotel are nicely decorated. My room had a nice balcony with 2 chairs overlooking the pool area. Pool looked nice but I didn't use it. Bed and pillows were soft. Shower had very hot water. AC was really strong. My one complaint is the floors. The tiles were very dirty. I posted 2 photos from my room. I wouldn't use it to determine my stay there again but would be good if the hotel did a better job cleaning them. Room had complimentary potato chips, instant noodles, soda, juice and water. Breakfast was from 7-10am and was included in the room fee. I've stayed at other hotels in Chiang Mai and this place had my least favorite breakfast. Eggs were cold both days. Fruit wasn't sweet both days. Just a normal buffet type breakfast.

This trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand, this apartment hotel is directly closed! The location is excellent, just near the ancient city, you can feel the fireworks of Chiang Mai when you go out, and the surrounding food and convenience stores are all available. The rooms are simple and stylish, with great lighting and extra warm furnishings. The facilities are brand new, the bedding is comfortable, and you can sleep well every night. The focus is on the service. The staff is fluent in English and friendly. They helped recommend many niche attractions and prepared local specialty snacks. There are beautiful green plants and leisure seats in the public area, and it is super comfortable to sit in your leisure time. Highly recommended to friends who come to Chiang Mai, the price is super high, I will stay here next time!

The room was spacious, clean, and offered excellent value for the price. Front desk and service staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. Unfortunately, the rooftop and pool areas appeared neglected and lacked ambiance. Noise from a window gap affected nighttime comfort and sleep quality. Overall, a solid choice for travelers seeking affordable accommodations with ample room space.

Location - Less than 2-5min walks to three night market ( Kalare Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and Anusarn Night market) - Shopping mall Pantip just around the corner. Big C and Eveanboy is there!!! - Watson just beside the hotel -KFC, McDonald, and Hard Rock Cafe just walkable distance! All less than 5min walk. - At evening, once you step out from the hotel you can see a lot temporary stall selling varieties of local stuff -10 to 15min grabbing to airport by Grab or Bolt (please don’t agree with their additional airport charge! No such charges! Report them if the driver ask you so. Whatever you see at the platform is the charges. Tipping is up to individual) Hotel staff - All are lovely. Friendly and approachable. Very welcoming and patience with you request Room - Hopefully they will do some renovation. Bed is comfy. Bathroom wise some wear and tear including toilet bowl but I don’t spend time in the room so doesn’t matter. Aircon working in good condition Facilities - I didn’t check as I don’t use it. Overall - The exterior, the friendliness of staff, the lobby & cafe and location is the plus of staying Dusit Princess! Will be back for sure if visiting Chiang Mai in future

AAnonymous UserWe had a twin room for short one night stay to explore Chiang Mai University and see the vibes of local uni students, location is great and have all necessities within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staffs, conversational English skills. Easy to call grab just from outside of the hotel, but try avoiding traffic rush hour when everyone is heading to university in the morning or coming down to and from night market at the late evenings. Also suitable for families to stay here as well, they have plenty of children play stuffs at the lobby.

GGuest User[De Chai gives you free drinks if you leave them a kind review during your stay so please be mindful of the reviews you see here :) ] I found the two bathrooms very appealing along with the price per night so I decided to stay here during my trip with my parents, but there are a lot of room for improvement. Location: 11-15 minutes away from Chiang Mai Airport so you can hear airplanes flying by in the hotel room. If you’re a light sleeper you might find discomfort staying here. There are definitely better hotels near here, personally I don’t recommend staying here. There are yummy food places near by that made up my experience here! I liked how I could walk to One Nimman & Maya to beat the heat. Amenities: gym is pretty small, and the pool is tiny too. The pool was so warm as the water isn’t being circulated, which personally discouraged me opt out of swimming here. There were dead bugs floating around too. The pool closes from 6:30pm as there’s a small roof top bar. The gym operates from 7am to 7pm only. Room: When I checked in, there was hair & dust on the floor. I later addressed this to the front desk the next day (we checked in the evening) & they cleaned it thankfully. The bigger issue here is a structural issue with the restroom floor. While showering, I realized that my feet were submerged in water and I was showering in a shower booth, not bath. The drainages are not working well so I had to be careful while showering because of this issue. It’s also because the water doesn’t flow to the drain fast enough and the water is just going to be all over the bathroom floor. I communicated this with the hotel staff but they just told me to shower with the drain top off but that didn’t fix the issue as I had to stop from the water overflowing by making circles on top of the drain to help the water drain out + using towels to soak the spilled out water. However, this might be a problem with just my room though. I stayed in room 502, so I hope this helps. Service: Most staff don’t speak english fluently so it was quite difficult to communicate with them especially with my drainage problem. They’re not really welcoming but I think they are just shy because when I asked them something they looked startled and they didn’t know what to say.

FFrench DudeFinding Phra Singh Village in Chiang Mai can be a bit tricky without GPS, as it's nestled within narrow alleys, but arriving at the hotel immediately surprises you with its beautifully wood-themed facade. The lobby, although small, is wonderfully decorated and fragranced with cinnamon, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The check-in process was exceptionally smooth—upon arrival, we were seated on a sofa, served a refreshing fruit juice welcome drink, and had our passports quickly processed. The hotel may be compact, but it is stunningly designed with extensive woodwork that adds to its charm. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring windows that actually open—an increasingly rare amenity. The minibar was well-stocked with both complimentary and paid options, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was top-notch, although the water was a bit too hot for my liking. One downside was the air conditioning, which only targeted the feet area, making it advisable to sleep with socks on to avoid getting cold. Surprisingly, a flashlight (which lacked batteries) was mounted on the wall next to the light switch. When asked, the staff explained that the region often experiences power outages during rainstorms, which accounts for this unusual provision. Breakfast was excellent overall, except for the omelettes, which were a bit too bland and pale for my taste. However, dining in the hotel's garden environment was truly delightful. The staff throughout our stay were outstanding, enhancing our experience with their attentive and friendly service. In conclusion, Phra Singh Village offers a blend of hidden charm and exceptional hospitality, making it a memorable place to stay despite its few quirks. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a unique and intimate experience in Chiang Mai.

VVvviThe room that we stayed in had a sewage smell in the bathroom that could not be removed with sanitizing and deodorizing..We requested for a different room after the first night and were changed to a different room after the second night when the room became available. The staff were apologetic about the inconvenience and did their best to help us with the move. I hope the hotel look into the issue and get the plumbing checked. The hotel was otherwise an excellent one. We like the garden, the cafe, the clean bedroom, nightly warm drink, and also our Pilates class.
