I visit Chengdu four or five times a year, and this is, without a doubt, the most delightful hotel I've ever stayed in here!
📍 **Unbeatable Location**
Right in the Chunxi Road pedestrian street, it's a 5-minute walk to Taikoo Li and an 8-minute walk to the IFS climbing panda. Downstairs, you'll find tons of great food and convenience stores. The best part? Free parking! When every other place around charges 10 yuan/hour, this is a paradise for those traveling by car.
✨ **Brand New Hotel Benefits**
Opened in 2024, everything is sparkling new. I stayed in a Garden Twin Room, which has a 'mock suite' design – the sofa bed expands to sleep a third person, making it perfect for families. It boasts smart home features throughout, a Dyson hairdryer, Peter Thomas Roth toiletries, and excellent soundproofing, so you can sleep peacefully even in a busy area. Plus, the first round of the minibar is free.
💯 **Service Deserves All the Praise! Special shout-out to Kimi and the team!**
The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and approachable throughout my stay. Seeing I had a child, they proactively upgraded me to a larger room and even gave my little one a special gift. The robot delivery service for takeout is a lifesaver for late-night introverts. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the 24-hour front desk was always ready to help. It truly felt as comfortable as being home.
🍜 **Breakfast is a Chengdu Food Tour**
You don't even need to leave the hotel to enjoy authentic Dandan noodles, 'chaoshou' (wontons), and Zhong dumplings. Both Chinese and Western options are comprehensive, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. You can even enjoy street views from the window seats while you eat.
This place offers incredible value for money! To find a hotel of this quality in such a prime location like Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li is truly amazing. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chengdu and highly recommend it to anyone visiting for leisure or business!

GGuest UserBooked a twin room with two 1.8m beds, perfect for families. The environment is lovely, and they pay attention to details. There's a small balcony where you can relax and eat. It's clean and tidy, and the landlady is very welcoming. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs, and it's very convenient for getting around.

Transportation is incredibly convenient, with Dongda Road Metro Station just 50 meters away, connecting to Metro Lines 2 and 8. It's only two stops to Chengdu East Railway Station and four stops directly to Chunxi Road, making it super easy to visit Taikoo Li and IFS for sightseeing.
The hotel offers pet-friendly rooms and even has an adorable mascot dog named 'Xigua Di' (Watermelon Patch) who 'works' every day. There's also a 24-hour fitness center on the 36th floor, where you can work out while enjoying city views.
From the moment I arrived, the concierge proactively helped with my luggage and gave me a baggage tag. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and the operator, Mila, even contacted me before check-in to confirm my needs, which was very thoughtful. Whenever I had any issues, the staff were quick to help resolve them, making guests feel valued and cared for!!!

The facilities are complete and well-maintained, the smart speaker is very convenient, and the lighting creates a comfortable ambiance. My overall stay was very pleasant. It's very close to Kuanzhai Alley, about a 15-minute walk, and also very near the subway station, making transportation quite convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment design is excellent, with lush gardens and water features surrounding the rooms. A morning stroll is incredibly refreshing, and the ecosystem is thriving. Soaking in the hot springs while listening to birdsong is truly relaxing.
Regarding the facilities, the rooms are clean and hygienic, with good quality bedding and towels. There's a wide selection of pillows, and the hot springs are radon-rich, leaving your skin feeling smooth – I heard it's great for your skin. There's also a fairly large play pool in the hot springs area that kept the kids entertained for ages, so much so that we didn't have time for any other activities. The breakfast quality is also very good.
As for the service, a butler contacted me even before my arrival to ask about any special requests. The hotel's service is very flexible; they try their best to accommodate guests' needs and enhance their experience, as long as it doesn't disrupt hotel operations. Since fewer people were using the hot springs due to the hot weather, they upgraded my room and extended my check-out time, allowing me to enjoy a very comfortable soak.

GGuest UserFive-star review! I’m truly impressed with my stay at Xishu Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. I will definitely choose Xishu Hotel again next time I’m in the area and will gladly recommend it to friends!

The bathroom had a smart toilet. The front desk staff provided excellent service, even adding an extra duvet as per our request. The breakfast was really good, leaving us full and satisfied. The hotel is conveniently located close to Kuanzhai Alley and Kuaixinglou Street, both within walking distance. The front desk even kindly gave a hair clip to the child in our group.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at this hotel. The first time was for a business trip, and this time I came on my own. Overall, it's still very good. The breakfast is extensive, and the rooms offer great value for money. Even though the hotel has been open for many years, I'd still choose to stay at this established five-star hotel for the price. My only complaint is that I requested a non-smoking room, but after checking in and getting to the room, there was a strong smell of smoke. I then had housekeeping take care of it.

Wwangzp0320Nestled in a tranquil courtyard amidst the hustle and bustle, this hotel offers a serene and elegant escape. Located in what was once a wealthy Qing Dynasty Eight Banners residential area over a century ago, it now sits right in the famous Kuanzhai Alley, boasting an excellent location and ambiance.
The hotel's facilities are top-notch, with well-appointed, clean, and comfortable rooms, excellent natural light, and a well-stocked mini-bar with snacks and drinks. Front desk staff, Rora Dora, made me feel completely at home with her thoughtful, meticulous, patient, and dedicated service. Overall, this was a very satisfying stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu!
