Hangting Hotel Hotels in Chengdu

Ever since our winter stay at the Hanting Hotel on Nanjing West Road in Shanghai (their family room wasn't huge, but the service was genuinely excellent), Hanting has become my go-to choice for chain hotels. This particular location is fantastic! Turn right, and you're on Chunxi Road and in Taikoo Li. I was really surprised by how vibrant and down-to-earth the commercial scene is on Chengdu's Chunxi Road. There are also all sorts of street food stalls in the alleys. The kids went there, and we, the adults, ate at Hanting. The breakfast selection was pretty good, aside from one day when there wasn't much left to eat; otherwise, it was fine. The family triple room here is really well-designed – simple, practical, and highly functional. It completely solidified my decision to stick with Hanting. If you turn left from the hotel, there's a Mixue flagship store, which the kids absolutely loved. Cross the road, and a 7-8 minute walk takes you to Tianfu Square Metro Station, where lines 1 and 2 intersect, making it convenient to go anywhere. The coolest part is that my child and I accidentally discovered an underground passage to get there, perfectly avoiding Chengdu's heatwave and strong UV rays. Tianfu Square has everything for dining, entertainment, shopping, and more. Right next to it is Tianfu Hong, a paradise for cosplayers. My child spent over two hours browsing there, while I slept for over an hour on a lounge chair on the first floor. Next time I'm in Chengdu, this will definitely be my first choice.

The soundproofing isn't great; I could hear other guests talking and toilets flushing late at night. However, the location is excellent, right next to Tianfu Square Metro Station, which is very convenient for those using the subway. Breakfast was just okay, and there are also breakfast shops downstairs, so early risers don't need to bother booking the hotel's breakfast and can just grab something downstairs instead.

Excellent! I'm truly grateful to the hotel staff for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. The room quality is undeniably excellent! Hanting will definitely be my top choice for future travels! I highly recommend it to everyone. If you're visiting Chengdu and want to visit Kuanzhai Alley, this is the perfect choice. It's incredibly convenient, especially at night when you can stroll along the way and enjoy a truly relaxing experience. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of options, including freshly made rice noodles and Sichuan-style pickled vegetables. It was truly amazing!

Solo female travelers, choose this hotel with caution. Also, avoid if you prefer not to stay on the ground floor (most rooms here are on the ground floor). There was an issue right at check-in. I was assigned a ground-floor room, but when I got there, I found that the room was right next to an emergency exit that led directly outside, and the door was wide open. This was a serious security concern, as anyone could walk right into the hotel rooms. The front desk initially didn't address my concern directly, only explaining that a guest must have opened it and not closed it (implying any guest could do this). I then contacted Trip.com customer service, who in turn reached out to the hotel manager, and the issue was resolved. The room's amenities were actually quite good, the cleanliness was acceptable, and it was pretty quiet. If it hadn't been for the ground floor incident, I would have given it 4.5 stars, but due to the security risk with the ground floor, I'm lowering it to 3 stars.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the metro station. Overall, I had a pleasant and satisfying stay. I needed to change my room booking for the following day to better suit my needs, and the staff arranged it without requiring me to check out and check in again, which was very convenient and much appreciated. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Chengdu.

Facilities: Very complete, everything you need is there. After all, this is Hanting. Hygiene: Very clean, newly opened, and hygienic is relatively safe Environment: Very good and quiet. Although it is a bit far from the city center, I like it very much. It takes about 30 minutes to drive to the city center. Service: Very good as the first stop to Chengdu, the distance is not bad, because we arrived at Tianfu Airport, and this hotel happened to be a transit station, which was just right!

The hotel's location is extremely convenient, very close to Yulin Road, with a shopping district right outside, making it easy to find places to eat, drink, and have fun. Environment/Facilities: The lobby is stylishly decorated, the room is larger than expected, the bedding is very comfortable and soft, and the cleanliness is exceptionally thorough, with no dust in any details, making for a very safe and comfortable stay. The soundproofing is excellent, and I slept very well that night. Service: I must commend the service! From check-in to check-out, every staff member was always smiling. Room service was also very responsive; items arrived within minutes.

Such a great stay! The hotel is newly renovated, modern, beautiful, and incredibly clean. The room was spotless, comfortable, and everything felt fresh and new. The location is super convenient, the subway station is literally right outside the hotel, making it so easy to get around Chengdu. Chengdu North Railway Station is also nearby, which is a huge plus for us. Check-in was unbelievably quick, it took less than 30 seconds! 😂 And a special shoutout to the lovely front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even speak English, which made everything so easy for international travelers. For the price, the value is honestly fantastic. Great location, beautiful new rooms, excellent service, and amazing convenience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu!

My stay here exceeded expectations. Check-in to check-out was smooth and efficient. The room was bright and airy, meticulously cleaned, and the bathroom was spotless with a consistent hot water supply. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The front desk staff were patient and professional, and housekeeping was attentive and prompt in handling any requests. The hotel's location is convenient with great amenities nearby, and the overall environment is quiet and comfortable. It offers excellent value for money and I genuinely recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

It’s a new hotel and all facilities are nice and good. We especially appreciate the washing machine and dryer - it washes and dries our clothes quickly. My parents enjoyed the stay here! Recommended to stay here if you need a place near chengdudong railway station.
