"It was a pleasant stay. Definitely in need of more facilities, the pool was good but it would be great to get a spa or gym too. Breakfast was lacking variety for the asking price. I had to ask and mention the carpark to avoid a $104 fee! Lucky they helped me with a ticket that was only $16 for the day. The room was very tidy and we did enjoy having room snacks and beverages provided. Overall a good stay."
"Great location next to the Southern Cross center with a railway, tram and bus connections.
The hotel itself was ok, but they MAKE PHOTO OF YOUR CREDIT CARD what never happened to me when staying in any other hotel all around the world. Basically they have both side of your credit cards (reportedly for deposit) which can be used for any transaction that is totally unsecure and for example in my home country not allowed. The receptionist told me that is in line with their procedure and if I am not ok with it I can talk to their manager.... There is no information about this procedure in their description. Be mindful and better avoid this place for sake of your card security.
Room was clean and ok, they have also swimming pool and small gym.
The breakfast is absolutely disappointing, disgusting coffee and very limited choice of toast bread, jams, scrambled eggs, beans and oats. One of the worst hotel breakfast I have ever seen. We check out hungry and went for proper breakfast to bar nearby..."
"Came here as a ‘staycation’ for one night to celebrate my partners birthday. Service was good, the reception team made us feel so welcomed. Room was clean and the view of the river and bay was superior, as the name of this room type described. 10/10 👍🏼 we also used the gym which had a nice view too!"

"Upon arriving at the Novotel Hotel main entrance , (Single lane traffic) the driver refused to stop right in front of the hotel side of the road, instead he is insisted to drop us at the opposite side of the road. About 30m from the hotel. Stating that No dropping off passenger is allowed in front of the hotel; and it will block the traffic if he does so."
"We had an awful experience which was we got a room key (room 630) that the room has already been occupied… We opened the room door, and someone was just right there which made my husband and I were shocked!
And the room was really small that it barely can open 2 baggages. It barely can see yarra river view when the room is in level 5…"
"Hotel was in a great location. Room was sufficiently large and clean. Bed was comfortable. My main gripe is (if you are driving a rental car) that there is no dedicated drop off point for you to unload your luggage and check in.
Unfamiliar with the traffic rules, I asked a family member to check with the staff how long I could stop my car along the road. Unfortunately, the staff was not helpful and insisted on checking our booking which took 5 minutes or more. By that time, I just drove the car round a block to await further instructions on the parking. Overnight parking was AUD38."
"Good hotel just in the epicentre of Melbourne city life. Spacious room, daily cleaning, online chek in and out, free tram stop nearby. Tea/coffee and kettle in the room. Comfortable beds. Gym and pool on 6th floor, but did not visited. Saw moths in the bathroom."
"What a beautiful hotel! And such lovely people running it! Mummy came here once before and was very excited about bringing me and Cuddly here, and we could see why! We really enjoyed our stay!"
"Great hostel, lots of activities and social group outings. Located very close to the Markets and Melbourne CBD with the free Tram zone so easy to get around with plenty to do.
I had a larger room but my friends had really small rooms that would be the only negative.
Great roof top space for evening views and socialising with hot tub.
The best hostel kitchen I've stayed in and have travelled the east coast and Western Australia. So many stations, great number of quality equipment and lots of space for food although fridges are always full np matter where you go.
Really happy with this stay."
"We initially booked just two nights at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, but the outstanding service we received made us extend our stay—and I’m so glad we did. The level of attentiveness and genuine care shown by the staff truly elevated our experience.
One moment that stood out was during breakfast. My husband asked a staff member at the pastry section whether the items were halal. She explained it to him politely, and to our surprise, about 15 minutes later, the Assistant Director of the restaurant, Mr. Albert, personally came to our table. He took the time to explain the halal options available and even assured us that eggs could be prepared using separate utensils.
While I was getting bread, Mr. Albert noticed and came over again, kindly asking if I would like my eggs prepared then. He immediately instructed the chef to prepare eggs and nuggets for me and told me to sit comfortably while he arranged everything to be brought over.
His thoughtfulness and proactive service left a lasting impression. It’s rare to see such initiative and care, and it made me feel confident that I had chosen the right hotel.
I will definitely recommend Grand Hyatt Melbourne to my family and friends. The hotel is fortunate to have a staff member like Mr. Albert—he truly deserves recognition for his outstanding hospitality."

Great
GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.
GGuest UserThe Room is Amazing. Staff that are working in Reception are all very easy to talk to and approachable and super helpful. Room is tidy and the view is beautiful.Overall my stay with Holiday Inn Express are very convenient and overall process is smooth.

GGuest UserWe arrived Melbourne at about 23:00 and will be leaving for a 08:30 flight the next morning. The good thing is the hotel is very close to the airport but it's a bit hard to find the entrance. Hotel room is clean and the front-desk staff is very helpful.

CChristysterra JohnnyRecommended! I can say that my experience with Best Western is very pleasant. I stayed here for one night and have to catch the next train early morning. I requested if I was able to check in early as I have to check out the next day at 6AM. Luckily the room was available. The lady at the counter was very nice, she welcomed me and helped me when I was having a trouble in opening the door with the swipe card. The room is enough for 1 person, it's not too small for me, not noisy and really comfortable. I appreciate the cleanliness and the space that I have. Thank you, I will surely stay here again when I visit Melbourne.

GGrey~HedgeThe hotel is in a perfect location next to train and tram stops. Very friendly staff and room is clean. Room has complimentary tea and coffee. Just there are 5 stair cases in front to enter the hotel. A pleasant stay. Cash or card deposit is needed.

KKarinaCannot fault the staff however the amenities need overhaul. The rooms TV didn’t work was advised couldn’t be fixed until the following day. Went to use hairdryer to find out no power points on that side of room were working. Again advised cant be fixed straight away. Had to use TV as a mirror for blow drying hair! Then we continued to get calls after 10pm from reception checking if everything was alright despite being told it cannot be fixed. Really disappointing. On a positive to GM and receptionist Cheryl were outstanding in trying to assist and did remove some charges.

GGuest UserLocation: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing.
Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash.
Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised.
Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it.
Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great
RRenee VincyI recently stayed here for business trip, and I can’t say enough good things! The location is absolutely great for business. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

TTaralesleyWe had an amazing stay at Quest Flemington Central.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well presented.
The kitchen was packed with a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all plates, bowls, cups or cutlery we could need.
Washer and dryer as well as a balcony, it really was a lovely room, we were very happy!
The pool was heated and the roof top view was gorgeous, it was very relaxing and great for a morning or late night dip. Staff were very respectful and accommodating.
