We had a thoroughly enjoyable 3-night stay at the Premier Inn Edinburgh Park. The main reason for choosing this hotel was that it was located to the west side of the city, and as we were travelling by car it suited our onward travel plans. The hotel has plenty of free car parking, just remember to enter your car registration number on arrival. The hotel is well located adjacent to the train and tram stations. It is only a ten-minute tram ride into the city centre at £3-80 return, trams run every 5 to 10 minutes. The hotel itself if probably the best Premier Inn we have stayed in, we had a standard room, but it was roomy with a comfortable bed and in the bathroom the shower was lovely and powerful. Tea and Coffee making facilities were provided, with unlimited replacement provisions available in the lobby. We ate in the restaurant on the evening of arrival and also had breakfast every morning. The food was of decent quality and value. Service in the restaurant was also particularly good with attentive and friendly staff, in fact throughout the hotel all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at the Premier Inn Edinburgh Park, next time we visit Edinburgh.

After staying in a number of hotels in Edinburgh, Novotel Edinburgh Park is definitely of highest quality in this price range. The location is perfect if you are working outside of the city but want to still experience the city centre at night. Edinburgh Park train station and tram stop are very close to the hotel with frequent services to neighbouring towns and Waverley station (city centre). The train is quickest to Waverley at only 9 mins and costs as little as £2.70 at super off peak times for a return ticket. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. There are hundreds of channels on the 55” TVs. The beds are comfy and there is a temperature regulator fan (not air conditioning). The bathrooms are clean and well furnished. Executive rooms get some more toiletries than standard rooms. Some rooms have baths and some have stand-in showers. (Maybe you can note your preference when booking) Breakfast is definitely worth paying for. There’s a huge selection of food options, something for everyone. Hot food and continental style breakfast is offered and is a buffet style. The restaurant is large but can be very busy in the evenings. Car parking is offered at a member rate (Accor ALL account holders) of £6 per day. I would rate the hotel very highly, after staying here a number of times over the past few months and with more bookings in the not so distant future. I look forward to returning!

The house is an old one, from the 18th century. A beautiful one. Our room was a very large one, very comfortable, a large and comfortable bed and a large and very concenient bathroom. All the comfort you can dream off in a B&B ! David, our guest is a very kind and welcoming man. Tasty English breakfasts are served every morning, at our convenience. It's a bit far from Edimburgh, you have to take the bus to go to the city (for dinner) but the bus stop is very close to the house, easy to find and the buses come regularly. We used this hotel following arrival at the airport from overseas and night prior to departure . It was ideal. Nice location, friendly staff. It was pleasant to walk around the wooded campus and neighborhoods of adjacent Herriot-Watt University. We will be back. ... I would note however, that some may feel the privacy in the bathroom is a bit compromised by the construction of the bathroom doors and side panels (opaque material which lets the light shine through, and large see-through cracks between the door and the adjacent wall - not completely private).

We were well pleased with the Torfin. Check-in was easy. Although there is no front desk, the young lady at the bar was available to register me and show me the room. She also carried two of our suitcases up to our room! The room was very pleasant and recently renovated. I don't think there is any A/C, and that could on occasion be a problem. We were comfortable despite the unusually warm weather. My only complaint would be the lack of an elevator, since we had many pieces of luggage. Fortunately the rooms are only up one flight. There is complimentary off-street parking at the adjacent establishment. The price is quite reasonable, especially if booked directly with the hotel. It is near the airport, taking about 8 min. by car. Service is limited, as the restaurant (and thus hotel) closes at 10 p.m. and doesn't re-open until 10 a.m. Breakfast is not available before 10:00.

Stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend in August 2022. I'm guessing the price was high because of the fringe and it being a bank holiday weekend. The hotel was bright and breezy. no tea making facilities in the room. No hair dryer, limited storage, no draws. There was tea making facilities in the reception that were free and always available. Breakfast at the hotel was continental and £7.50 each. Quite reasonable for the offering of cereal, pastries, yoghurts, juice, ham and cheeses. Nice location opposite the tram station.
