Best Hotels in Heijenrath, Netherlands

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. The rooms are slightly outdated but in order and equipped with all necessary comforts. Personally, I'm not a fan of the tapestry, but okay. Bathroom has a separate bath and shower. The doors close automatically with a very loud bang - noisy. As others have already written, very friendly staff in the catering area, but the ladies at the reception lack any kind of cordiality. We stayed at the hotel with a group of friends. A couple refuses a room because it had clearly been smoked in the room and there was an unpleasant smell. After some insistence they got another room, but this ”stink room” was then casually given to another couple, without solving the problem.... !!? It is best to skip the restaurant, price / quality is out of proportion. The cook lacks any form of inspiration to complete a dish, with a game dish, for example, we only got Brussels sprouts and no other vegetables. It also makes it quite easy to use frozen products. For example, we got soup with clearly factory-cut vegetables, personally I think that the soup was even completely a factory product. With the main course again clearly factory-cut vegetables that you normally find in the freezer compar**ent, together with a fried potato dish that has been baked too long. And for dessert a stale cookie that was already wak. To end on a positive note, the breakfast is fairly simple, but good and the service by Patrick very good.

Service was good. Rooms complete. Breakfast was well cared and wide choice. Unfortunately we had the room above the Irish Pub. That's nicely useless. Until 4.00 hours no eye closed. Despite windows close to ventilator, no airco, and was very warm ....These rooms above the pub should actually be used nudity ......

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!

Bastion hotels zal ik zeker niemand aanraden, wat hier gebeurd is ver onder de maat dit zowel in beleid als in service als in kundigheid personeel. Mij overkwam het volgende: Ik woon in Zoetermeer en kreeg voor het weekend het bericht dat mijn vader plots overleden was. De uitvaart zou op dinsdagmiddag zijn. Ik ging op zoek naar een hotel om dinsdag te overnachten omdat na de uitvaart nog een familiediner gepland stond. Op het internet zag ik op de site van Bastion staan dat als je een kamer via een andere site goedkoper aangeboden ziet worden je de eerste nacht gratis kreeg. Nu ik inderdaad een goedkopere prijs zag was het voor mij een goed idee hier gebruik van te maken om zo al op de maandag naar Heerlen af te reizen. Geprobeerd e.e.a. te verifiëren maar Bastion had alleen een nummer voor doordeweekse dagen en ik moest beslissen. Hierop heb ik het filiaal gebeld en de situatie uitgelegd (dat ik voor de crematie van mijn vader kwam) en alléén naar dit hotel zou willen als ik de dag eerder gratis kon verblijven. De receptie vertelde dat ze het ging navragen en ik zou teruggebeld worden. Expliciet gevraagd om mij dit zondag en uiterlijk maandag ochtend vroeg te laten weten. Maar ik hoorde niets en belde het hotel (waar je heel lang in de wacht staat, ook al is er geen bezetting) Ik zei dat ik niets had gehoord en nu moest gaan rijden en sprak af dat ik ter plaatse wel zou horen of het nu akkoord was en anders elders mijn intrek zou nemen. Eenmaal aangekomen was er een zeer vriendelijke receptioniste die ik vertelde dat ik niets had gehoord maar alleen zou blijven als ik gebruik kon maken van de actie. Dit was geen enkel probleem er werd een notitie gemaakt, dat ik a) betaald had en b) ik twee nachten zou blijven. “So far so good”….. Maar het werd een drama, de eerste avond met honger naar bed. Ik had in de middag de menu kaart al gevraagd (forse prijzen) en liet mijn oog vallen op iets waar ik echt trek in kreeg: Oma’s gehaktballen geserveerd met gekookte aardappels en verse groenten van de dag. Na wat familie bezoek het restaurant van het hotel bezocht. De dame in de bediening vroeg mij of ik wat wilde drinken. Ik vroeg welke rode huiswijn er geschonken werd wellicht kon ik kiezen tussen een Merlot of een Cabernet o.i.d. “We hebben zoete rode wijn “was het antwoord van de dame in de bediening. Ik zei dat ik dat absoluut niet dronk “wilt u dan een zure wijn “was tot mijn ontsteltenis haar antwoord… toen ik zei “ik wil graag een droge “keek ze me meewarig aan en beende naar de bar, bekeek een paar aangebroken flessen waar ze kennelijk zelf ook geen vertrouwen in had. Vervolgens dook ze in een kast en toverde daar twee flessen uit en schonk een glas in, en eerlijk gezegd bleek het een zeer acceptabele huiswijn. Toen bestelde ik de gehaktballen (van Oma) en vroeg wat de dag verse groente waren, dit zou broccoli worden en ik vroeg expliciet of het geserveerd werd met gekookte aardappelen, daar ik geen zin had in friet die ik om me heen op de borden z

Nice new hotel. Unfortunately no welcome drinks, which is normal. nice room. No possibility to impose the bags anywhere but on the ground. We are not so old, but still a little limited. So put the chair on the desk with extra support, enough space for a baggage bag or something like that, and now we arrived late in the rain. Had not even been watching, because there were some cars that we should not have left the car standing before the door. Not asked. In the meantime, 10 days further and no points received. This is not what I'm used to Acor and has come there for many years as silver or gold member, so you know what I'm talking about.

A beautiful building had a great and royal economic room, good shower facilities, staff at the reception were present, asked for a water cooker and immediately asked if we wanted cups and tea bags. We could be equipped with the Dutch Mountain Trail from here again.

I stayed here for four days for a business trip. The front desk staff were very helpful with questions about dining, parking and other services of the hotel. There are two parking garages that the hotel uses, one that has metal doors on either side, so if you have a large vehicle, you may want to use the other entrance around the corner which had a little more space on the sides. The room rate included breakfast as well as overnight parking.. The room (#636) faces the plaza next to the entrance of the parking garage. The rooms across the hall face the river. The room has two beds with a desk that hold the TV which can swivel to either the beds or the desk area. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower with a glass partition. The space works for one person. There was two bottles of water that were left in the room each day. The hotel is centrally located with lots of café and restaurants on the same side as well as short walk to shops/restaurants across the river. I can see why many of the people from our company stay here.

In Heerlen you got several options for a hotel , if you are in need - whenever I can I will go for the Kasteel TerWorm ... been here before , and I think I will be there again ... So arriving before noon is typically not the best at any hotel, no difference here on the topic - the lady at the reception was kind and get me the key and all the forms - but she asked me kindly to wait till my room will be ready - I went for a walk in the garden and surroundings , you have some picks attached to the review. Room was at the ground level in the courtyard building, room 14 - I got - and it was very clean , spacious and with a good size bathroom that had a tub and a shower - depending on what you want. Bed was comfortable - the minibar for free .... breakfast - a nice selection of buffet, eggs, meat , etc ... so everything for everybody. To distance a bit customers you could choose breakfast till 9 or after 9 ... so to split a bit the guests. Outside my room - I had room 14 - there were 2 chairs at a table and a decorative bush in that bush a duck was nesting between the branches - such a nice thing. Overall I had a very good stay - with helpful staff and a very good hotel experience and for sure if I go to Heerlen again , I would choose the same hotel for my stay. I recommend you try it and if you don't like it just blame it on me .....

Our room on the 4th floor was facing the train station but very quiet in the night. The room was clean. The bed was big and comfortable. There were 3 windows. Like the round table with 2 chairs, we really could sit for a drink. Breakfast was great. Receptions were friendly and helpful. We pre-booked the underground parking so convenience when we arrived. Lots of restaurants around the hotel and from the hotel to City Hall. The only think that I don’t like was the bath tub was small and narrow so when I showered the shower curtain touched my arm all the time.

It's very cheap for such a hotel room. It was a small room with a bathroom and toilet. The bathroom was hanging all the screws, the towel was hanging out of the screws, the shower was dirty of the walls could use a paint, the head support of the bed was broken, the leather was bladed, the spray on the bed was smooth. At the front door the doorbell was broken when you walk through it you need to look for your clothes not to break. It's very expensive for such a room. Ontbijt was prijzig pp was wel lekker. - Staff is good. Benefits you are close to the centre of Maastricht
