"Facilities: The Tmall Genie is very smart! Cleanliness: Super clean, there's a laundry room, and the front desk even thoughtfully helped me dry my washed clothes. Environment: It's really close to West Lake and Hefang Street. There are lots of great food options nearby. If you turn left when you go out, there's a super affordable creative souvenir shop. Service: Nothing more to say, absolutely excellent!"

Western food is available, though it's not a particularly strong point.
"The hotel service is good, and the newly built facilities are also excellent. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast was different each day, with a great variety. We even got a room upgrade, which was more spacious. The hotel's relaxed pace starts the moment you open the window and see the lush greenery. Outside, there's verdant foliage; inside, a cozy, laid-back corner – this is exactly how a trip should feel."

"I came to Hangzhou for a trip and blindly picked Wenlan Hotel in the north of the city on Ctrip, and to my surprise, it was quite a pleasant discovery. As soon as I entered the lobby, I saw a big screen playing something about the 2026 World Cup, which immediately set a nice atmosphere. They also had complimentary lemon black tea at the entrance; I grabbed a cup, and it was refreshingly cold and tasty. What really surprised me was that the lobby had a display of sachets and small ornaments, all beautifully arranged and looking very exquisite, full of that Jiangnan charm typical of Hangzhou. I originally thought it would be just an ordinary hotel, but these small details really showed thoughtfulness. The location is also great, close to the subway station and next to Joy City. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Hangzhou."

"I stayed at Huajiashanzhuang and then at Yaguquan the next day. Both have different styles, and both are good. Yaguquan leans towards a more high-end, grand, Chinese style, while Huajiashanzhuang is more vintage and elegant, with a Republican-era feel. In terms of dining, Yaguquan's Chinese restaurant is more affordable and quite delicious. For breakfast, I prefer Huajiashanzhuang. Yaguquan's garden design, including the guest rooms, is integrated and consistent, whereas Huajiashanzhuang's design is a mix of old and new, not unified. Wandering through them, I feel like Yaguquan is a place for a vacation, while Huajiashanzhuang is more for hosting foreign guests – both are good in their own way. Additionally, Huajiashanzhuang's natural spring is a bonus, while Yaguquan is more modern with a spa and swimming pool (though I wouldn't highly recommend the spa). Yaguquan also has more animals."

"This is a very unique B&B. I found a temporary place to rest while hiking Jiuxi with my friends. I didn't expect it to exceed my expectations. I was very satisfied with the layout of the room. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let the sunset shine into the room, which was very cozy. The sanitation was also very clean, and there were no dead corners. It was really comfortable to fall asleep to the sound of cicadas at night. It's a good choice to come to Jiuxi this season. The Qiantang River is about 100 meters away, and it's very comfortable to take a walk in the evening. The star lights in the courtyard light up at night, which is very atmospheric. If I wasn't rushing back to work, I would have liked to stay a few more days. It's really good and highly recommended."

"Traveling with my family during the Chinese New Year holiday, we decided to stop by Hangzhou and booked Atour in advance. The hotel is surrounded by a mall, so there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. There's a parking lot with ample spaces. However, there's only one elevator from the lobby to the rooms, so there can be a bit of a wait. The room itself was nice and spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. It was quite hot outside, and the central air conditioning only blew warm air, which was a bit unbearable. The staff kindly brought us a portable air cooler to use. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. It's also not far to get to West Lake by taxi. Overall, a good hotel."

"If you want to stay im cozy hotel that feels like home and stay away from the noise I really recommend this hotel. The rooms has great views of the temple and you can walk through the trees if you go right. The rooms very clean and the design of the hotel is beautiful however the old guest didn’t keep it in same way. The staff was very friendly and nice helped us with everything thank you so much ."
