Hotels near Orchard MRT Station, Singapore

The hotel was a little run down from the lobby, but the rooms were acceptable but far from being great. Location was great and convenient, close to Orchard Road shopping malls and the MRT.

Facilities: Located in Orchard Road, with Orchard Gateway mall downstairs. Somerset MRT station is just below, making transportation very convenient. You can walk to various malls in Orchard Road, including Ngee Ann City and ION Orchard. There are also many places to explore through the underground passages. Service: I was with my elderly parents, and after a morning of sightseeing, they were a bit tired. We arrived at the hotel around 12:00-12:30 PM and expressed our wish for an early check-in. Since it wasn't peak season, the front desk immediately provided us with a room key, allowing my parents to rest earlier, which was very considerate. When we checked out, I left an item for a friend, and the front desk took down all the relevant information to ensure it would be delivered, which I greatly appreciated. Cleanliness: The bathroom had a good wet and dry separation, and the room was quite clean. Breakfast: The variety wasn't extensive, but it was sufficient for us as Chinese guests and met my 'Chinese stomach' needs. Since I was with my parents, we had breakfast at the hotel every day. Downstairs, there's Ya Kun Kaya Toast and other dining options with plenty of choices. Due to its convenient location, Mr. Coconut is right at the entrance of the mall downstairs. The Scarlett supermarket on the basement level sells bottled mineral water at a very affordable price. Surrounding malls all have food courts and 'da shi dai' (food halls) for meals. You can also buy pandan cake from Bengawan Solo and coffee from Bacha nearby. Takashimaya at Ngee Ann City is also great for browsing. Overall, this location and price point are excellent, and the staff were all very friendly.

let’s me say my thinking: 1/ when I arrived it was uncomfortable situation on reception by asking me if I’m sure that I want to have one bed cuz there were two guys. We fine with both, but I don’t think that it is reception business who sleeps how. For me I like big bed and two blankets that give you more space. Especially with friend I travel for years; 2/ I never tried swimming pool so I have no idea if it is good or not; 3/ I have to admit beddings and pillows are very good quality and very clean, no objections, this is 100% satisfied; 4/ room is very “tired”. The carpet done of the pieces, it is very old; 5/ room smells moldy and a/c doesn’t work good enough to dry it, so due to high humidity it is not so good; 6/ I remember that 4* hotel should provide you with 3 types of towel for person: face, hands, body towels, however you will get one. Yes, they change it everyday, but it will be one per day. Besides, the quality is very low and sometimes old with holes; 7/ all environment is old and broken: shower, cabinet, old and smelly carpet; 8/ if you use toilet be sure: other will be disturbed by lights and by whatever you do in toilet - 0 of privacy; 9/ we had only one lamp in the shower, it was feeling so dark, like im in the house basement. Conclusion: location good and beddings clean. Rest not. I suggest to pay 50$ more per night but get something much better.

Traveling with two kids, I booked a quad room. The room was spacious with a king-sized bed (nearly 2 meters) and two twin beds, perfectly accommodating our family of four. The room was also quite clean. However, there were a couple of downsides: 1. Some of the room's facilities were a bit dated, for example, the showerhead wasn't working very well, and the uneven tiling around the bathtub could hurt small children. 2. The hairdryer was fixed inside the desk drawer, which made it a bit inconvenient to use. Overall, the environment was very good.

After a two-week hotel search at Trip.com, I finally decided to book Concorde Hotel Singapore to celebrate our 20th Anniversary with my life partner! This is our second time stay after 2019! We are welcomed with a fruit punch when check-in, and we had been told that our room comes with a balcony and a bathtub 🛀. A big surprise to us when opening the door and see lovely swan deco with fresh orkid, and even with a fruit plate. We spent a very good staycation for 3 nights at CHS! We enjoyed Singaporean food by Grab delivery, and visited Plaza Singapura, 313@Somerset, Wisma Atria and Takashimaya. Personally I love the freshly baked buns served in Spices Cafe. Will visit someday again to CHS for the great hospitality service they provided.

Great value for the price! I was really satisfied; the room was clean, the hallways were clean, and the pool was nice too. The staff at check-in spoke Chinese, and those who didn't were very enthusiastic and used gestures to communicate. I'd definitely stay here again. The only thing is it's about a 10-minute walk to the metro station. Orchard Road isn't really for the average shopper – there are cheap and expensive options, but I think Jewel Changi Airport and VivoCity are better places to browse.

Great location with convenient transportation. The service was excellent, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. There are many dining options nearby, including Ya Kun Kaya Toast, a popular local breakfast spot in Singapore, right next door!

For this price, don't expect too much from the cleanliness. Lower your expectations, and you might find it just about okay. The pros: It's close to the Rainbow Police Station, Fort Canning Park, and the Little India temple. Public transport and MRT stations are a guaranteed 10-minute walk away, and there's a 7-Eleven within 5 minutes. Even though it was hot and we were tired in the afternoon, the kids still had energy, so we let them go to the pool. It's small, which is good, and not too deep, so I just relaxed on a lounge chair while they had a blast all afternoon. Clarke Quay is right next door. Cleanliness is just average, and the rooms are small. Next time, if I increase my budget slightly, I'd stay at the Ascott Roberson House nearby.
