When I checked in, a male staff member at the front desk assisted me, and his attitude was excellent. Perhaps it was because I spoke to him entirely in English. I arrived a little after 12 PM and was allowed an early check-in. So, the three stars for service are entirely for this gentleman.
However, when I checked out around 9:30 AM, there was an East Asian woman at the front desk. From my five days in Singapore, I've noticed that most locals speak Mandarin fluently, making communication easy. So, I started speaking to her in Chinese, asking to store my luggage. Before I could even finish my sentence, she rudely cut me off, saying, 'I don't speak Chinese.' Only after I switched to English did she reluctantly tell me that luggage storage was on the first floor. If she doesn't speak Chinese, how did she know I was speaking Chinese? I'm not sure if this front desk agent was ********* or local, but regardless of whether you speak the language or not, is it acceptable for a front desk staff member to treat a guest with such rudeness? Future guests considering this hotel should be aware: if you don't speak English, you might be treated very poorly.

This hotel has much bigger rooms than other Singapore hotels for this price range. Which felt amazing and honestly being in a tiny room was mantally challenging so I’d recommend this hotel over newer one with smaller rooms. View and entire wall windows are also great.
The only minor issues were that hotel only offers one pillow per person and not comfortable beds which made my sleep a nightmare, also they have some issues with towels - we had to literally fight with manager to get a towel to go to the pool. By international standards hotel must provide as many towels as their star count(per person) So many rules here but no respect to the standards? . They only offer one towel per person, not even hand towels. NO GYM! Also was a downside as you need a place at least to have a cardio or stretch, gyms around offer $30 day passes which is extremely pricey for one workout. 2 loads on laundry was $60. Which is also insane (self service)
But! Being near orchard road, all the shops and food courts was nice, we tried so many different foods for almost no money that I don’t think any other places have to offer such variety. Shopping is amazing too, all luxury resellers are here as well. Overall, I recommend staying here for sure.

For this price, don't expect too much from the cleanliness. Lower your expectations, and you might find it just about okay.
The pros: It's close to the Rainbow Police Station, Fort Canning Park, and the Little India temple. Public transport and MRT stations are a guaranteed 10-minute walk away, and there's a 7-Eleven within 5 minutes. Even though it was hot and we were tired in the afternoon, the kids still had energy, so we let them go to the pool. It's small, which is good, and not too deep, so I just relaxed on a lounge chair while they had a blast all afternoon. Clarke Quay is right next door.
Cleanliness is just average, and the rooms are small. Next time, if I increase my budget slightly, I'd stay at the Ascott Roberson House nearby.

I had my brief pleasant stay at Bugis Social Stay. Boasting an exceptional prime location, it is only a few minutes’ walk from Bugis MRT station, various shopping malls and local dining spots, making it extremely convenient for sightseeing and city tours.
The guest rooms are equipped with essential daily supplies such as toothbrushes and bottled water. The hotel staff are courteous and quick to respond, while the check-in and check-out processes are seamless and hassle-free. This accommodation is an ideal cost-effective pick for solo travelers and short-term stays.
There are a few slight drawbacks: the in-room space is relatively compact, and the sound insulation is just mediocre. Additionally, some rooms come with shared bathrooms, and the on-site Wi-Fi is unavailable. If you book the projector room, you will have to use your personal mobile hotspot for internet access.
All in all, it is still a worthy stay mainly thanks to its superb central location.

The location is great, the hotel is in a bustling area, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. It's also not far from the subway station. The downside is that the rooms are quite small, and so is the bathroom. The hotel is expensive, but that's just how it is; Singapore left a very good impression on me overall.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right on Orchard Road, with numerous shopping malls within walking distance. Getting to other attractions is also very convenient, whether by taxi or subway. The room isn't small and generally clean, featuring a bathtub that fills up incredibly fast. The shower also has great water pressure, though the direct drinking water tap has a somewhat weak flow. The hotel's soundproofing is quite good; I barely heard any noise, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly.

Every night, I was bitten by bugs, and my legs and body were covered in itchy, small red welts. There were also fearless ants and bugs crawling into the cups, and the table was a lively scene of bugs coming and going. I don't recommend this place for families with young children; perhaps those with thicker skin can consider it.

The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.

PPengtaaleinasiIf you're here for a trip, this hotel and a few others nearby have the best location. You're right next to Hill Street Police Station and Clarke Quay, and the Merlion is only about a 10-minute walk away. You can take the MRT directly from the airport to City Hall station, and the hotel is just 200 meters from the exit. The FUNAN mall across the street is also very convenient for dining.
The hotel amenities are excellent, and the breakfast, with its Indian focus, offers a good variety. The pool has a shallow area, only about ten centimeters deep, which is perfect for kids to play in.
The price is incredibly fair. For a 28-square-meter room in the heart of Singapore, paying just over a thousand [currency unit] is amazing. I highly recommend it!

The amazing location juz opposite Takashimaya and Paragon and mosque@Orchard Road. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and approachable. Asian buffet style breakfast@Eden restaurant - normally can only find plain porridge but here surprisingly we found delicious fish porridge with no fishy smell! Thank you, Pullman hotel for excellent services.

The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very polite and enthusiastic. The room is on the smaller side, but clean, and probably best suited for one person. For two people, you'd likely struggle to open your suitcases. The downside is that there's a restaurant on the first floor, and the corridor on the second floor gets quite smoky during dinner time.

First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
